  • Tomas Hertl C | LV

Golden Knights' Tomas Hertl: Takes turn out of lineup

Hertl (rest) is not on the ice for warmups and is not expected to play Wednesday versus the Canucks.

Hertl recently returned from a shoulder injury and logged two points over three contests since getting back in the lineup. He should be fine for Game 1 versus the Wild to open the postseason.

  • Jack Eichel C | LV

Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Set to play Wednesday

Eichel (upper body) is on the ice for warmups and is expected to play Wednesday versus the Canucks.

Eichel missed four games with the injury, but it looks like the Golden Knights are allowing him to get back up to game speed in the regular-season finale. Tomas Hertl will be rested to make room for Eichel in the lineup.

  • Max Sasson C | VAN

Canucks' Max Sasson: Ready to rock

Sasson (undisclosed) will play Wednesday versus the Golden Knights, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.

Sasson will get back in the lineup after missing two games due to the injury. The 24-year-old center has earned seven points through 28 outings this season and will likely have a chance to compete for a bottom-six role in 2025-26.

  • Zach Hyman C | EDM

Oilers' Zach Hyman: Won't play Wednesday

Hyman (undisclosed) is projected to miss Wednesday's game versus the Sharks.

Hyman unsurprisingly won't be in the lineup in a regular-season finale with no stakes. It's unclear if he'll play Game 1 versus the Kings in the first round, but getting him back in a top-six role would be a boost for an Oilers lineup that has been plagued by injuries lately.

  • Predators' Colton Sissons: Won't return before season's end

Sissons (lower body) won't suit up Wednesday versus the Stars, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.

Sissons was labeled week-to-week at the end of March and was unable to play in any of the last nine games of the season. He concludes 2024-25 with 21 points, 80 shots on net, 100 hits, 67 blocked shots and a minus-12 rating, his lowest scoring total in four years. Sissons will be in a contract year in 2025-26.

  • Devils' Nico Hischier: Gets game off

Hischier (rest) will get Wednesday's regular-season finale against Detroit off, per Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site.

Hischier will complete the 2024-25 regular season with 35 goals and 69 points in 75 appearances. He's missing out on a chance to reach the 70-point mark for the second time in his career, but Hischier has already established a new career high in goals. The 26-year-old should be back in the lineup for Game 1 of the Devils' first-round series against Carolina.

  • Dylan Cozens C | OTT

Senators' Dylan Cozens: Logs two helpers in overtime loss

Cozens produced a pair of power-play assists and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Blackhawks.

Cozens has a goal and three assists over his last six games. The center is up to 13 points across 20 contests since he was traded to the Senators from the Sabres, and for the season, he's logged 44 points in 81 outings. He's also fit right into the Senators' physical style, upping his totals to 204 hits and 68 PIM between the two teams.

  • Nick Cousins C | OTT

Senators' Nick Cousins: Scores in second game back

Cousins scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Blackhawks.

Cousins got the Senators on the board in the first period. The 31-year-old had missed 30 games before returning to the lineup Sunday versus the Flyers. Heading into the playoffs, Cousins will likely slot in as a fourth-line forward who can add some grit and depth scoring. He's produced 14 points, 67 shots on net, 84 hits and 41 PIM across 49 appearances this season.

  • Blues' Dalibor Dvorsky: Sent to AHL

Dvorsky was assigned to AHL Springfield on Wednesday.

Dvorsky spent some time with the Blues late in the season and appeared in two NHL games. He was held without a point but recorded two shots on goal while averaging 9:25 of ice time. The Blues have concluded their regular season, so Dvorsky will head back to the minors.

  • Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Officially ruled out versus Sharks

Draisaitl (undisclosed) will not be in the lineup against San Jose on Wednesday, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.

While Draisaitl won't be available for the regular-season finale, head coach Kris Knoblauch told reporters he expects the German winger to be back for Game 1 versus the Kings. Despite playing in just 71 games this year, Draisaitl still managed to top the 100-point mark for the sixth time in the last seven years -- with the lone miss coming during the COVID-shortened 2020-21 season.
