  • Rangers' Jonny Brodzinski: Adds insurance tally

Brodzinski scored a goal on two shots in Monday's 5-3 win over the Panthers.

Brodzinski has scored five times and added an assist over his last 12 contests. The 31-year-old has held a spot in the lineup regularly since the start of February, and he's been a versatile veteran forward. He's matched his career high of 19 points from last year while adding 73 shots on net, 27 hits and a plus-6 rating through 50 appearances.

  • Rangers' Vincent Trocheck: Pots shorthanded game-winner

Trocheck scored a shorthanded goal on two shots in Monday's 5-3 win over the Panthers.

Trocheck converted on a feed from J.T. Miller to give the Rangers their first lead of the game at 3:40 of the third period. That goal held as the game-winner, which gave Trocheck a career-high six game-winning tallies this year. He's up to 25 goals, 58 points, 200 shots on net, 214 hits, 78 blocked shots, 44 PIM and a minus-1 rating across 81 appearances. He's also earned 12 power-play points and six shorthanded points.

  • Stars' Colin Blackwell: Nets shortie in loss

Blackwell scored a shorthanded goal on two shots in Monday's 6-4 loss to the Red Wings.

Blackwell has a shorthanded point in each of the last two contests. His playing time has slipped a bit since the start of February, and when the Stars are fully healthy at forward, there's no guarantee he'll be in the lineup. The 32-year-old has done well as a defensive forward this season, earning 17 points (three shorthanded, one on the power play), 63 shots on net, 84 hits and a plus-4 rating over 63 appearances.

  • Stars' Wyatt Johnston: Nets goal in Monday's loss

Johnston scored a goal on three shots in Monday's 6-4 loss to the Red Wings.

Johnston has scored in back-to-back games and has eight goals and an assist over his last 12 outings. The 21-year-old's tally brought the Stars back within a goal after the Red Wings scored three times in the first half of the third period. Johnston has produced a career year across the board with personal-best totals in goals (33), assists (38) and points (71) while adding 200 shots on net and a plus-2 rating over 81 outings.

  • Hurricanes' Jesperi Kotkaniemi: Slated to suit up Wednesday

Kotkaniemi (undisclosed) is expected to be available for Wednesday's road matchup against the Canadiens, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.

Kotkaniemi has been out of the lineup due to his undisclosed injury since April 5. Prior to getting hurt, the 2018 first-round selection had registered just one helper over a 10-game span, so perhaps the time off will benefit the 24-year-old with postseason play on the horizon. Kotkaniemi has chipped in 11 goals, 31 points and a plus-9 rating across 76 appearances in 2024-25.

  • Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: Upgraded to day-to-day

Vilardi (upper body) is now considered day-to-day after getting back onto the ice Tuesday, Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press reports.

While Vilardi wasn't officially ruled out against the Ducks on Wednesday, it would seem like a quick turnaround to immediately press him back into action in a game that doesn't mean anything for the Jets. As such, the 25-year-old Ontario native will likely finish the regular season having recorded career bests in goals (27), assists (34) and power-play points (25).

  • Dylan Larkin C | DET

Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Supplies two assists in win

Larkin recorded two assists in Monday's 6-4 win over the Stars.

Larkin set up Albert Johansson's first-period tally and also helped out on a Moritz Seider power-play goal in the third. With a goal and five assists over his last six games, Larkin has regained some steady offense late in the season. The 28-year-old center is at 29 goals, 39 assists, 231 shots on net and a minus-16 rating through 80 appearances. He has two more games to take a run at reaching the 70-point mark for the third time in his career.

  • Sharks' Macklin Celebrini: Scores power-play goal

Celebrini scored a power-play goal in Monday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Canucks.

Celebrini snapped a brief two-game pointless slump with his goal Monday, a wrister at the 4:20 mark of the second period that gave San Jose a 1-0 lead. The 18-year-old rookie has had an excellent first year in the league, and this goal was his 25th of the campaign. With one game left in the schedule for the Sharks, Celebrini has posted 63 points, 234 shots, 37 hits and 53 blocked shots across 69 appearances. His final appearance as a rookie will come Wednesday against the Oilers.

  • Alex Newhook C | MON

Canadiens' Alex Newhook: Pots goal Monday

Newhook scored a goal on two shots in Monday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Blackhawks.

Newhook ended a nine-game goal drought, a span in which he was limited to one assist, with his goal at 6:00 of the first period. The 24-year-old center is up to 15 goals, matching his career high from last season. He's added just 11 assists, 116 shots on net, 86 hits and a minus-21 rating over 81 appearances. With just one regular-season game left, Newhook is a virtual guarantee to miss the 30-point mark for the first time since he became a full-time NHL player.

  • Hockey Club's Nick Bjugstad: Finds twine Monday

Bjugstad scored a goal, fired four shots on net and dished out two hits in Monday's 7-3 win over the Predators.

Bjugstad scored the second goal of the game for Utah off a feed from linemate Alex Kerfoot with just under two minutes remaining in the first period. Overall, the 32-year-old Bjugstad is up to eight goals, 19 points, 114 shots on goal and 104 hits across 65 appearances this season. He's thrived as a goalscorer in Utah's last five games with three goals over that span. Bjugstad's contract expires at the end of the season, but if Utah elects to re-sign him, he's proven that he can do damage in a limited role by posting 64 points over his last two seasons.
