Cody Glass C | NJ
Devils' Cody Glass: Logs assist in loss
Glass notched an assist and two PIM in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Penguins.
This was Glass's first point in three games back after missing four contests due to a lower-body injury. He got on the scoresheet against his former team -- the Penguins traded him to the Devils at the deadline. The 26-year-old has 22 points over 62 outings this season, including seven points in 11 contests with the Devils since the trade. He's settled into a third-line role for his new team.

Evgeni Malkin C | PIT
Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: One of each Friday
Malkin scored a goal on five shots and added a power-play assist in Friday's 4-2 win over the Devils.
Malkin got the Penguins on the board at 16:10 of the first period. He also set up Valtteri Puustinen's tally in the second. With a goal and three assists over four contests since returning from an upper-body injury, Malkin is putting together a strong end to the campaign. The veteran center is up to 16 goals, 50 points (16 on the power play), 121 shots on net, 48 blocked shots, 40 PIM and a minus-23 rating over 66 appearances in a second-line role.

Sidney Crosby C | PIT
Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Pair of points in comeback win
Crosby scored a power-play goal on four shots and added an assist in Friday's 4-2 win over the Devils.
Crosby's tally at 13:21 of the third period was the game-winner, and he also set up a Bryan Rust empty-netter to seal the win. Crosby has gotten on the scoresheet in 14 of the last 15 contests, earning 13 goals and 10 assists in that span. The 37-year-old superstar is up to 32 goals (nine game-winners), 89 points, 26 power-play points, 223 shots on net, 66 hits and a minus-21 rating over 78 appearances. He'll have two more chances to reach the 90-point mark for the third year in a row and the ninth time in his career.

Zach Hyman C | EDM
Oilers' Zach Hyman: Exits Friday's contest
Hyman (undisclosed) won't return to Friday's game versus the Sharks, Mark Spector of Sportsnet reports.
Hyman was hurt in the second period, but the nature and severity of his injury are unknown. The Oilers have nearly secured their playoff spot, so they're taking a cautious approach with most injuries, and there have been plenty of them over the last couple of weeks. It's unclear if Hyman will be healthy enough to suit up Sunday in Winnipeg -- if not, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (illness) could be an option if he recovers in time.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins C | EDM
Oilers' Ryan Nugent-Hopkins: Not playing Friday
Nugent-Hopkins (illness) will not play Friday versus the Sharks, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.
Nugent-Hopkins will miss his second straight game. The Oilers got Connor McDavid (lower body) back Wednesday versus the Blues, so they won't miss Nugent-Hopkins as much for this contest, but they also have no need to rush him back. His next chance to play is Sunday in Winnipeg.

Luke Glendening C | PHI
Lightning's Luke Glendening: Ruled out indefinitely
The Lightning announced Friday that Glendening has been ruled out indefinitely due to an upper-body injury.
Glendening had already been ruled out for Friday's game against the Red Wings after sustaining an injury Wednesday against the Maple Leafs. It appears as though he'll face a multi-game absence to close out the regular season, and it's unclear whether he'll be available for the start of the playoffs. The Lightning have just four regular-season games remaining, concluding with a road game against the Rangers on Thursday, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him held out for all four of those matchups.

Jordan Staal C | CAR
Hurricanes' Jordan Staal: Gets assist in second game back
Staal posted an assist, two shots on goal and two hits in Thursday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Capitals.
Staal has been back for two games since he missed four contests due to a lower-body injury. He's back in his usual third-line role, so expect Staal to see heavily defensive assignments to close out the regular season unless head coach Rod Brind'Amour wants to rest him. Staal has produced 34 points, 102 shots on net, 131 hits and a plus-14 rating over 73 outings this season, right in line with his level of production over the last seven years.

Seth Jarvis C | CAR
Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Tallies pair of points
Jarvis notched a goal and tallied an assist in Thursday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Capitals.
Jarvis was the only player for either team to have both a goal and an assist, which further helps cement his value as an emerging two-way forward in the league. He first assisted Jackson Blake's goal before netting the game-tying tally with under two minutes to play in regulation. Overall, Jarvis has 31 goals, 32 assists and 199 shots on net in 71 appearances this season. While he will likely finish the regular season shy of a point-per-game, he's been above that pace down the stretch with 17 points in his last 16 outings. Jarvis holds great value in all fantasy formats for the remainder of 2024-25 and beyond with Carolina.

Nick Cousins C | OTT
Senators' Nick Cousins: Not ready to return
Cousins (knee) won't play Friday versus Montreal.
Cousins did skate Friday, but he's still not quite ready to return. He was last in the lineup Jan. 25. When Cousins is healthy, he will probably serve in a bottom-six capacity, which might push Angus Crookshank out of the lineup.

Logan Stankoven C | CAR
Hurricanes' Logan Stankoven: Nets goal in loss
Stankoven tallied a goal and put two shots on net in Thursday's 5-4 loss to the Capitals.
Stankoven scored the first goal of the night off feeds from Andrei Svechnikov and Jack Roslovic. The 22-year-old Stankoven is up to 13 goals, 36 points and 186 shots on net in 74 appearances this year. Both of Stankoven's last two goals have come against the Capitals. While his stint with the Hurricanes has been marked by a slow start with seven points in his last 15 games, he's trending upward with three goals in his last six appearances. Stankoven is an exciting name to keep an eye on for the future, but his fantasy value is best kept to deeper leagues for the time being.
