  • Bruins' Jordan Harris: Set for conditioning loan

Harris (ankle) was reassigned to AHL Providence on a conditioning loan Thursday, Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal reports.

Harris has been out of action since Oct. 21 versus the Panthers, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that the organization wants to get him some minutes in the minors before activating him off long-term injured reserve. Even once given the all-clear, the Massachusetts native is far from a lock to make the lineup on a nightly basis and could find himself serving as a healthy scratch periodically.

  • John Carlson D | ANA

Capitals' John Carlson: Reaches 600-assist mark in career

Carlson logged two helpers, four shots on goal and two PIM in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks.

With the effort, Carlson became the 21st blueliner in NHL history to earn 600 assists. He achieved the milestone in his 1,135th game. He's done good work recently with a goal and 10 helpers over his last nine outings. For the season, the 36-year-old is at 40 points (eight on the power play), 100 shots on net, 67 blocked shots, 22 PIM and a plus-11 rating over 47 contests.

  • Filip Hronek D | VAN

Canucks' Filip Hronek: Tickles twine in win

Hronek scored a goal and blocked two shots in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Capitals.

Hronek had gone eight games without a goal, picking up three assists in that span. He remains fairly steady on offense for a team that hasn't exactly been filling the net a lot this season. Hronek now has four goals, 29 points, 69 shots on net, 75 hits, 68 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating across 50 appearances in a top-pairing role.

  • Vince Dunn D | SEA

Kraken's Vince Dunn: Picks up pair of points

Dunn scored a goal on four shots and added a power-play assist in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.

Dunn was involved in the Kraken's first two goals, with his tally standing as the game-winner. He had gone eight games without scoring, though he still had eight helpers in that span. The 29-year-old defenseman is up to seven goals, 31 points (17 on the power play), 106 shots on net, 54 blocked shots, 32 PIM and a minus-18 rating over 48 appearances. His recent offense is a showcase of what he can do at his peak, so Dunn should be in most fantasy lineups.

  • Flames' Zach Whitecloud: Earns first assist with new team

Whitecloud logged an assist and two shots on goal in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Penguins.

Whitecloud has essentially replaced the man he was traded for, Rasmus Andersson, in the Flames' lineup. Through two games with the Flames, Whitecloud is averaging 23:04 of ice time, 4:08 higher than he was seeing with the Golden Knights. He's at eight points, 37 shots on net, 66 blocked shots, 74 hits, 20 PIM and a minus-8 rating over 49 appearances this season. Whitecloud has minimal offensive upside, but his production could take a step up if his ice time remains higher with his new team.

  • Ryan Shea D | PIT

Penguins' Ryan Shea: Puts up assist Wednesday

Shea registered an assist, four shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Flames.

With both Erik Karlsson (lower body) and Kris Letang (upper body) out, Shea saw a larger power-play role in this contest. His helper came at even strength, as Shea set up Evgeni Malkin on the opening goal at 7:49 of the first period. The 28-year-old Shea snapped an 11-game point drought with the assist, which gives him 17 points, 44 shots on net, 60 blocked shots, 29 hits and a plus-16 rating over 49 appearances this season.

  • Penguins' Jack St. Ivany: Notches pair of helpers

St. Ivany recorded two assists, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Flames.

St. Ivany had been scratched Monday in Seattle, but he was back in the lineup for Kris Letang (upper body) in this contest. While his spot isn't secure, St. Ivany has done a decent job in a bottom-four role this season. He's at five assists, 16 shots on net, 38 hits, 20 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating across 15 appearances.

  • Kris Letang D | PIT

Penguins' Kris Letang: Absent from lineup

Letang (upper body) won't play Wednesday versus the Flames, Josh Yohe of The Athletic reports.

Letang will miss at least one game due to the injury. He was labeled a game-time decision, so it's possible his injury isn't too severe. Jack St. Ivany will likely draw into the lineup in a bottom-four role.

  • Maple Leafs' Oliver Ekman-Larsson: Exits Wednesday's game

Ekman-Larsson (lower body) won't finish Wednesday's game versus the Red Wings.

Ekman-Larsson was hurt midway through the first period and didn't come back after that. The 34-year-old can be considered day-to-day for now. If he misses time, Philippe Myers or Matt Benning would fill in.

  • Luke Hughes D | NJ

Devils' Luke Hughes: Lands on long-term injured reserve

Hughes (shoulder) was placed on long-term injured reserve Wednesday, retroactive to Jan. 19.

Hughes sustained the injury in Monday's 2-1 overtime win over Calgary, and he sat out Tuesday's 2-1 victory over Edmonton. He will be unavailable through the Olympic break, and an exact timetable for his return is unclear. Prior to getting hurt, Hughes had appeared in each of the Devils' first 49 games of the 2025-26 season, racking up five goals, 21 assists, 39 blocked shots, 24 PIM and 13 hits while averaging 23:04 of ice time.
