    Ducks' John Carlson: Fifth 60-point season

    Carlson picked up two assists in a 5-4 win over Nashville on Thursday.

    It was Carlson's fifth career 60-point season (14 goals, 46 assists). He, Jakob Chychrun and Moritz Seider finished in a tie for 11th in NHL scoring from the blue line. Carlson is in rare air for defenders with so many 60-point campaigns -- the only active defensemen with more are Erik Karlsson (eight) and Brent Burns (six).

    Flames' Zayne Parekh: Finds twine in win

    Parekh scored a goal on two shots, added three hits and went plus-2 in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Kings.

    Parekh ended his rookie season at four goals and five assists across 37 contests. He earned seven of his nine points over the last 14 games of the season, growing in confidence as his responsibilities increased. The 20-year-old defenseman will likely be a full-time NHL option in 2026-27, and his scoring potential will give him some fantasy upside.

  • Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: Three-game, three-point streak

    LaCombe scored a goal Thursday in a 5-4 win over Nashville.

    He roofed a snap shot through traffic from the blue line and past Juuse Saros to knot the game 2-2 with 21 seconds left in the first period. LaCombe heads into the postseason on a three-game, three-point streak (one goal, two assists). His 58 points (10 goals, 48 assists) put him 16th on the scoring list for NHL defenders.

    Predators' Ryan Ufko: Second straight two-assist game

    Ufko bagged two apples in Thursday's 5-4 loss to Anaheim.

    Ufko finished the season with back-to-back two-assist games. He impressed in 18 NHL games this season. He scored two goals and added nine assists in that span. Ufko also delivered 11 goals and 33 assists in 50 games with the AHL Milwaukee Admirals this season. He's a name worth remembering for next season.

  • Sharks' John Klingberg: Supplies three helpers Thursday

    Klingberg dished out three assists in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Jets.

    Klingberg wrapped up his 12th season in the NHL with his first three-point outing of the season. He picked up a helper in all three periods Thursday, including the primary assist on Macklin Celebrini's goal in the third. Overall, Klingberg concluded the campaign with 17 assists, 27 points, 79 shots on net, 46 hits and 62 blocked shots across 56 games this season. His first full year with the Sharks revitalized his offensive numbers, posting his first campaign with 25-plus points since the 2022-23 season. He averaged just under half a point per game this season when healthy and should garner some looks in deep fantasy leagues next season if he maintains his share of power-play time.

    Avalanche's Devon Toews: Expected to play Thursday

    Toews (undisclosed) will be in the lineup Thursday versus the Kraken, per the NHL media site.

    Toews sat out Tuesday versus the Flames for what was described as maintenance reasons. However, the Avalanche sent down Jack Ahcan prior to Thursday's contest, leaving the team with just six healthy blueliners with Toews included. He should be good for top-four minutes once the playoffs get started.

  • Panthers' Mikulas Hovorka: Sent to minors

    Hovorka was reassigned to AHL Charlotte on Thursday.

    Hovorka recorded an assist in four outings with Florida in 2025-26. He also finished the regular season with five goals, 18 points and 44 PIM across 55 appearances with Charlotte. The AHL squad will be participating in the Calder Cup Playoffs, so Hovorka will join the Checkers for that run.

  • Panthers' Ludvig Jansson: Dropped to AHL

    Jansson was reassigned to AHL Charlotte on Thursday.

    Jansson earned his first assist in his fourth game Wednesday versus the Red Wings. The 22-year-old defenseman will get to keep playing this season as Charlotte gears up for a playoff run with numerous players coming back from NHL stints.

  • Panthers' Tobias Bjornfot: Heading back to AHL

    Bjornfot was reassigned to AHL Charlotte on Thursday.

    Bjornfot will rejoin the Checkers ahead of the start of their playoff run. The 25-year-old had four points over 19 NHL contests this season, his most appearances in any year since 2021-22.

  • Panthers' Michael Benning: Sent back down

    Benning was reassigned to AHL Charlotte on Thursday.

    Benning's first taste of NHL action saw him record six points over 18 contests this season. He went out with a bang, scoring twice in the regular-season finale versus the Red Wings on Wednesday. Benning will now provide reinforcements for Charlotte ahead of its playoff run.
