Kleven (lower body) is not in the lineup Saturday versus the Maple Leafs, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports.
Kleven apparently did not fully recover from the injury over the holiday break. The 23-year-old defenseman is set for a third straight absence, and it's not yet clear when he'll be ready to return. The Senators' next game is Monday at home versus the Blue Jackets.

Capitals' Rasmus Sandin: Expected to play Saturday
Sandin (upper body) is set to play against New Jersey on Saturday.
Sandin missed Tuesday's 7-3 loss to the Rangers because of the injury. He has two goals, 10 points, 45 hits and 55 blocks in 31 outings in 2025-26. Sandin is projected to serve on the third pairing alongside Trevor van Riemsdyk.

Hurricanes' K'Andre Miller: Unavailable Saturday
Miller (lower body) is not expected to play versus the Red Wings on Saturday, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports.
Miller missed Saturday's morning skate and looks set to miss game action as well after a late shot block Tuesday left him ailing. Miller's absence will allow Mike Reilly to stay in the lineup for another game. The Hurricanes' next game is Monday versus the Rangers in the first half of a back-to-back.

Lightning's J.J. Moser: Lands eight-year extension
Moser signed an eight-year, $54 million contract extension with Tampa Bay on Saturday.
Moser's new deal will run through the 2033-34 campaign. He has produced three goals, 12 points, 50 shots on net, 43 blocked shots and 26 hits through 34 appearances this season.

Predators' Justin Barron: Off injured reserve
Barron (lower body) was taken off injured reserve Saturday, per the NHL media site.
Barron has four assists, 13 hits and 22 blocks in 19 appearances with Nashville in 2025-26. He's an option to draw into the lineup for Saturday's game against St. Louis, but it's also possible that he'll be a healthy scratch. If Barron does play Saturday, then it will probably be as a member of the third pairing.

Nikishin (ankle) is expected to play Saturday versus Detroit.
Nikishin appeared to sustain an ankle injury against Florida on Tuesday, but it seems he won't miss a game due to the issue. He has four goals, 13 points, 69 hits and 46 blocked shots across 35 appearances in 2025-26.

Golden Knights' Dylan Coghlan: Sent to AHL
Coghlan was loaned to AHL Henderson on Saturday, according to the NHL media site.
Coghlan was recalled Tuesday. He has yet to play a game at the NHL level this season, as he was scratched in all five games. Coghlan had five goals and six assists in 23 AHL contests before his recall.

Lightning's Erik Cernak: Practices Saturday
Cernak (hand) participated in Saturday's morning skate and could be nearing a return to the lineup, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Cernak will miss his 16th straight game against Florida on Saturday. However, he might be ready to return during the team's upcoming three-game road trip, which begins Wednesday against Anaheim. Cernak has contributed four assists, 13 shots on goal, 43 blocked shots and 40 hits through 19 appearances this season.

Stars' Ilya Lyubushkin: Not available Saturday
Lyubushkin will miss Saturday's game against Chicago because of an illness, Owen Newkirk of DLLS Sports reports.
Lyubushkin has one goal, six assists, 43 hits, 52 blocked shots and 23 PIM across 27 games this season. Kyle Capobianco will enter the lineup in place of Lyubushkin. The Stars don't play again until Wednesday, and Lyubushkin is expected to be healthy enough to return at that time.

Lightning's Ryan McDonagh: Not playing Saturday
McDonagh (undisclosed) has been ruled out of Saturday's tilt in Florida, according to Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times.
McDonagh re-aggravated his previous injury that kept him out of the lineup for 18 games before he returned Dec. 18. McDonagh has four goals and four assists through 18 games this season. The Lightning recalled Steve Santini from AHL Syracuse, and he should enter the lineup in place of McDonagh.
