Josh Morrissey D | WPG
Jets' Josh Morrissey: One of each Thursday
Morrissey scored a goal, added an assist and went plus-3 in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Blackhawks.
Morrissey has logged three multi-point efforts during his four-game point streak. The defenseman is up to a goal and nine assists this year, and all but two of the helpers have come during the streak. The 30-year-old has added 18 shots on net, 23 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating over 11 appearances. He'll remain a consistently strong performer on offense as part of the Jets' high-end offense.

Emil Andrae D | PHI
Flyers' Emil Andrae: Loaned to AHL
Andrae was loaned to AHL Lehigh Valley on Friday.
Andrae has made two appearances for the Flyers this year, and he's been held off the scoresheet while recording a hit and averaging 12:44 of ice time. However, he's drawn praise from head coach Rick Tocchet early in the season, per Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports, so it wouldn't be surprising to see Andrae back with the NHL club in the near future.

Connor Murphy D | EDM
Blackhawks' Connor Murphy: Contributes two helpers
Murphy registered two assists, two shots on goal, two hits and two PIM in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Jets.
Murphy's minutes have gone down this season with the Blackhawks frequently dressing seven blueliners. The 32-year-old has received just 15:44 of ice time per game so far, and his two helpers Thursday marked his first contributions of the year on the scoresheet. He's added 13 shots on net, 13 blocked shots, nine hits and eight PIM. With a reduced role, his fantasy value will remain low, though there is some appeal in banger leagues since he has topped 100 hits and 100 blocks in six straight campaigns.

Alex Vlasic D | CHI
Blackhawks' Alex Vlasic: Finds twine in loss
Vlasic scored a goal and went minus-2 in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Jets.
Vlasic has a goal and an assist over his last two games. His tally Thursday was his first goal of the season. The 24-year-old has four points, seven shots on net, 11 hits, 17 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating across 10 appearances. Vlasic isn't seeing more than a trace of power-play time this year, which could make it difficult to repeat his 30-point performance from 2024-25, when he earned 12 power-play points and averaged 1:25 of ice time with the man advantage.

Christopher Tanev D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Chris Tanev: Likely for Saturday
Tanev (concussion) is expected to play Saturday in Philadelphia, Luke Fox of Sportsnet reports Friday.
Tanev is no longer in the concussion protocol, but he's still on injured reserve, so he'll need to be activated before the 35-year-old is officially available to return. He has an assist, six shots, two hits and eight blocks in seven appearances while averaging 17:42 of ice time this season. If Tanev does play Saturday, then Philippe Myers might draw out of the lineup to make room for Tanev.

Kris Letang D | PIT
Penguins' Kris Letang: Dishes two helpers
Letang logged a pair of assists, three shots on goal, four hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Wild.
Letang helped out on the game-tying goal by Ryan Shea in the second period and a Bryan Rust tally in the third that stood as the game-winner. This was Letang's second multi-point effort of the campaign. The 38-year-old defenseman has a goal, five helpers, 17 shots on net, 16 hits, 19 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating through 12 appearances. If he can continue to produce at around a 40-point pace with plenty of non-scoring contributions, he's worth having on most fantasy rosters.

Artem Zub D | OTT
Senators' Artem Zub: Pots goal Thursday
Zub scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 4-3 shootout win over the Flames.
Zub has had a good run of offense recently with a goal and four helpers over his last five games. The 30-year-old is playing in a top-four role, but he's not known for his scoring, so it's unlikely this success will stick in the long run. He's off to a positive start with two goals, eight points, 19 shots on net, 19 hits, 16 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 12 appearances in October. Zub had 13 points in 56 regular-season outings last year and has topped the 20-point mark in just two of his first five NHL campaigns.
-
Jake Sanderson D | OTT
Senators' Jake Sanderson: Forces overtime Thursday
Sanderson scored a goal on eight shots and blocked three shots in Thursday's 4-3 shootout win over the Flames.
Sanderson scored at 17:11 of the third period to tie the game at 3-3, making up for his turnover that led to the Flames' third goal. During his four-game point streak, the defenseman has two goals and four assists, and the eight shots he posted Thursday were easily a season high. The 23-year-old is up to three goals, 11 points, 29 shots on net, 22 blocks and a minus-1 rating across 12 appearances.

Ryker Evans D | SEA
Kraken's Ryker Evans: Skates ahead of practice
Evans (upper body) is skating ahead of practice in a non-contact jersey, Scott Malone of Root Sports reports.
Evans is expected to be out until mid-November after he sustained the injury during training camp. Evans is a candidate to see some power-play time, but he has Vince Dunn and Brandon Montour ahead of him on the depth chart. Evans had five goals and 20 assists in 73 games in 2024-25, including three points with the man advantage.

K'Andre Miller D | CAR
Hurricanes' K'Andre Miller: Placed on injured reserve
Miller (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Friday, retroactive to Oct. 20.
Miller has been sidelined for over a week due to his lower-body injury, and his move to injured reserve is procedural to make room on the roster for Pyotr Kochetkov (lower body), who was activated from IR in a corresponding move. Miller skated during Friday's practice session, but he'll likely need to skate with the full team before he's in the mix to return to game action.
