  • Rangers' Braden Schneider: Goal, assist in overtime win

Schneider scored a goal, dished an assist, added two hits and went plus-2 in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Oilers.

Schneider snapped a five-game slump with his goal at 8:18 of the third period. That tally set the Rangers on the comeback trail, and he helped complete the effort when he set up J.T. Miller's tally at 2:49 of overtime. The 24-year-old Schneider has earned a top-four role this season, though he hasn't produced offense at that level yet. He has a goal, three assists, 14 shots on net, 29 hits, 14 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating across 12 appearances. His physicality makes him an interesting fantasy target in deeper formats.

  • Islanders' Matthew Schaefer: Impressive start continues

Schaefer scored a power-play goal Thursday in a 6-2 loss to the Hurricanes.

Schaefer's goal came on a wrist shot from the left point through traffic. Schaefer continues to astound the league with his impressive skills, even though he just turned 18 at the start of September. Schaefer has three goals and five assists in 10 games with the Islanders. He has 31 shots, and four of his points, including two goals, have come with the man advantage.

  • Cam Fowler D | STL

Blues' Cam Fowler: Offers two assists

Fowler recorded two power-play assists, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Thursday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canucks.

Fowler set up goals by Jimmy Snuggerud and Pius Suter. With three helpers over his last four outings, there appears to be some life in Fowler's offense after a lackluster start to the season. He's produced four assists (three on the power play), 21 shots on net, eight blocked shots and a minus-8 rating through 11 appearances so far. Even with the slow start, the 33-year-old is still seeing significant top-four minutes as the Blues lean on their top defensemen.

  • Kings' Henry Brzustewicz: Nets two goals in OHL win

Brzustewicz scored twice in OHL London's 6-1 win over Peterborough on Thursday.

This was Brzustewicz's second multi-goal game of the season. The defenseman has been sharp with six goals on 51 shots and three assists over 11 appearances with the Knights this season. The Kings prospect will look to continue growing his offensive game throughout the remainder of his junior career.

  • Flyers' Jamie Drysdale: Gets first goal of season

Drysdale scored a goal Thursday in a 4-1 win over Nashville.

It was Drysdale's first goal of the season, and it stood as the game-winner. Drysdale wired a shot from the bottom of the left circle that beat Juuse Saros. Drysdale fired four shots Thursday, which equaled what he put up in three games prior. Drysdale has not blossomed into the two-way star that many envisioned when he was drafted sixth overall in 2020, but he is running on the top power-play unit in Philadelphia, and he's feeding young stars Trevor Zegras and Matvei Michkov. Drysdale could be poised for a career season.

  • Hurricanes' Shayne Gostisbehere: Unavailable Thursday

Gostisbehere (lower body) is expected to miss Thursday's clash against the Islanders, per Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site.

Gostisbehere missed three straight games last week due to a lower-body injury before returning for Tuesday's game against Vegas. However, he logged just 7:19 of ice time versus the Golden Knights before exiting the tilt with a new lower-body injury. He has a goal and seven points in six appearances this season. Mike Reilly, who was a healthy scratch Tuesday, is slated to draw back into the lineup Thursday due to Gostisbehere's absence.

  • Hurricanes' K'Andre Miller: Out again Thursday

Miller (lower body) won't play Thursday versus the Islanders, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.

Miller will be out of the lineup for a fourth straight game but is still considered day-to-day. His next chance to play is Saturday versus the Bruins. It's unclear if he'll be able to suit up for that contest, but the fact that he hasn't been placed on injured reserve amid the Hurricanes' run of injuries bodes well for a return to action fairly soon.

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Set to play Thursday

Raddysh (personal) is expected to draw back into the lineup for Thursday's game against Dallas, per Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site.

Raddysh wasn't in the lineup for Tuesday's 5-2 win over Nashville. He has a goal and three points in six appearances this season. Raddysh's return likely means that Tampa Bay will go back to a split of 11 forwards and seven defensemen, which might result in Curtis Douglas being a healthy scratch.

  • Wyatt Aamodt D | COL

Avalanche's Wyatt Aamodt: Called up Thursday

Aamodt was promoted from AHL Colorado on Thursday.

Aamodt will offer the Avalanche some additional depth ahead of games Friday in Vegas and Saturday in San Jose. It's possible he'll draw into the lineup over Ilya Solovyov for one or both of those contests.

  • Bruins' Jordan Harris: Undergoes surgery

Harris underwent surgery Monday for a right ankle fracture and is expected to miss the next two months, Conor Ryan of The Boston Globe reports Thursday.

Harris was last in the lineup Oct. 21 because of the injury. He has a goal and two points in five appearances this season. The 25-year-old also had a goal, five points, 23 hits and 35 blocks in 33 regular-season outings with Columbus in 2024-25. Harris will likely routinely shift between being part of the third pairing and a healthy scratch after he's recovered from his injury.
