  • Neal Pionk D | WPG

Jets' Neal Pionk: Adds power-play assist Monday

Pionk recorded a power-play assist and three blocked shots in Monday's 2-1 win over the Flames.

Pionk got on the scoresheet for the first time this season when he set up a Jonathan Toews goal in the third. The 30-year-old Pionk has a helper, 10 shots on net, four hits, 12 blocked shots, six PIM and a plus-3 rating through six contests. It's a little concerning that he's not piling up hits as aggressively as in previous seasons, as it's Pionk's physicality and all-around production that provide the bulk of his fantasy value.

  • Jets' Josh Morrissey: Sends helper in win

Morrissey notched an assist, three shots on goal and four blocked shots in Monday's 2-1 win over the Flames.

Morrissey has had a rather quiet start to the season with two assists across six games. He's still in a top-pairing role with ice time in all situations, so he'll bounce back over a larger sample. The 30-year-old defenseman has added seven shots on net, 12 blocked shots, six PIM and a plus-6 rating as the Jets' leader on the blue line.

  • Jonas Brodin D | MIN

Wild's Jonas Brodin: Nets equalizer Monday

Brodin scored a goal, blocked three shots and went plus-2 in Monday's 3-1 win over the Rangers.

Brodin has gotten on the scoresheet in two straight games, earning a goal and an assist. His tally at 5:10 of the first period Monday answered Artemi Panarin's goal from the opening minute. Brodin has added four shots on goal, 10 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating through six appearances, and he'll continue to fill a shutdown role with top-four minutes.

  • Cale Fleury D | SEA

    Kraken's Cale Fleury: Supplies assist

Fleury logged an assist and five PIM in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Flyers.

Fleury has been in the lineup for the last two games since Brandon Montour (personal) has been away from the team. The helper was Fleury's first point of the season to go with one shot on net, two blocked shots and four hits. The 26-year-old is a rotational option on the third pairing and likely won't see enough consistent ice time to be a factor in most fantasy formats.

  • Sharks' John Klingberg: Remains sidelined

Klingberg (lower body) will not be available for Tuesday's road matchup versus the Islanders, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.

Klingberg participated in the entirety of Tuesday's morning skate, but he'll remain sidelined for a third consecutive game. The right-shot blueliner has registered a goal, an assist and a minus-3 rating over three appearances in 2025-26. His next chance to draw into the lineup will be in the first half of a back-to-back set Thursday against the Rangers.

  • Egor Zamula D | CLB

    Flyers' Egor Zamula: Pockets helper

Zamula notched an assist in Monday's 5-2 win over the Kraken.

Zamula set up Travis Konecny's second-period tally. Through six games for the Flyers, Zamula has made four appearances, logging one assist, six blocked shots, two PIM and a plus-1 rating. His place in the lineup is not secure -- he could be challenged by Adam Ginning in the short term, and both players' ice time will likely take a hit once Rasmus Ristolainen (triceps) can make his season debut.

  • Lightning's Max Crozier: Won't play in next three games

Head coach Jon Cooper relayed Tuesday that he doesn't expect Crozier (undisclosed) to be available for any of the team's next three home games, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site reports.

Crozier was placed on injured reserve Friday, as he was injured against the Capitals on Oct. 14. The right-shot defenseman was off to a good start in 2025-26, recording three helpers, six hits and a plus-2 rating over four appearances. With Cooper's update in mind, Crozier shouldn't be expected to suit up until at least Oct. 28 in Nashville.

  • Zac Jones D | BUF

Sabres' Zac Jones: Sent to minors

Jones was loaned to AHL Rochester on Tuesday.

Jones was summoned from the minors Sunday, but he's back with the Americans in short order, which could indicate that Jacob Bryson (concussion) is close to returning after missing Monday's 4-2 loss to Montreal. The 25-year-old Jones has yet to make his debut with the Sabres.

  • Islanders' Alexander Romanov: Unavailable against San Jose

Romanov (upper body) will not be in the lineup versus the Sharks on Tuesday, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.

Romanov was deemed a game-time decision Monday, and it's unclear if he's suffered a setback since he was ruled out well before puck drop. Adam Boqvist will remain in the lineup Tuesday because of Romanov's absence. The Russian blueliner's next chance to suit up will be at home against the Red Wings on Thursday.

  • Canadiens' Marc Del Gaizo: Joining NHL squad

Del Gaizo was promoted from AHL Laval on Tuesday.

Del Gazio's elevation to the NHL roster likely means the Habs will be placing Kaiden Guhle (lower body) on injured reserve, though they haven't officially announced the move yet. If Del Gaizo gets into a game during the Habs' four-game road trip, it will likely come at the expense of Arber Xhekaj.
