Hanifin (undisclosed) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Hurricanes, SinBin.vegas reports.
Hanifin will be unavailable for a sixth consecutive game due to his unspecified injury. Daniil Miromanov D | CGY
Flames' Daniil Miromanov: Hits waiver wire
Miromanov was waived by the Flames on Monday, James Mirtle of The Athletic reports.
The decision to waive Miromanov likely means that Zayne Parekh will be staying up with the club for the foreseeable future. Once he clears waivers, the 28-year-old Miromanov figures to link up with AHL Calgary and could see minor-league minutes for the first time since 2023-24 when he was in the Vegas organization with AHL Henderson.

Kraken's Brandon Montour: On non-roster list
Montour (personal) was added to the non-roster list Monday, per the NHL media site.
Montour is away from the team for a personal matter, having missed Saturday's matchup with the Maple Leafs. Based on this move, Montour probably shouldn't be expected to play in the Kraken's back-to-back against the Flyers or Capitals on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.

Jake Walman D | EDM
Oilers' Jake Walman: Season debut on tap
Walman is expected to make his season debut against Ottawa on Tuesday, Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton reports.
Although the NHL media site signaled that Walman had been activated off injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against the Red Wings, the Oilers didn't announce the move until Monday. However, he's expected to return to game action for Tuesday's road matchup. He made 65 regular-season appearances between San Jose and Edmonton last year, recording seven goals, 33 assists, 145 blocked shots, 57 hits and 42 PIM while averaging 22:46 of ice time.

Stars' Nils Lundkvist : Deemed week-to-week
Lundkvist (lower body) will be placed on injured reserve and is week-to-week, according to Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News on Monday.
As expected, Lundkvist will miss additional time after sitting out Saturday's 3-1 loss to St. Louis. However, it remains unclear when he will be available to return. Ilya Lyubushkin will probably stay in the lineup until Lundkvist is healthy.

Alexander Romanov D | NYI
Islanders' Alexander Romanov: Game-time call Tuesday
Romanov (upper body) will be a game-time decision against the Sharks on Tuesday, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.
Romanov was working on the third pairing at Monday's practice alongside Tony DeAngelo, which is a good indication that Romanov will be ready Tuesday. The 25-year-old blueliner is still looking for his first point of the season after having been held off the scoresheet in his opening four contests prior to his injury.

Zach Bogosian D | MIN
Wild's Zach Bogosian: Still sidelined against Rangers
Bogosian (lower body) will not be available to face the Rangers on Monday, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.
Bogosian will be shelved for his second straight contest due to his lower-body issue. Through five games this season, the 35-year-old defenseman has yet to register a point while recording just five shots on net, six hits and nine blocked shots. While Bogosian is on the shelf, David Jiricek looks poised to remain in the lineup.

Jimmy Schuldt D | VAN
Canucks' Jimmy Schuldt: Elevated from minors
Schuldt was recalled from AHL Abbotsford on Monday.
Schuldt's elevation to the NHL roster comes as Victor Mancini was shipped down to the minors in a corresponding move. The 30-year-old Schuldt has nine games of NHL experience, including eight regular-season appearances for the Sharks last year in which he produced four shots on net, 13 hits and a minus-2 rating. Even with Schuldt being on the 23-man roster, he is far from a lock to suit up versus Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
