Brandon Carlo D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Brandon Carlo: Done for season
Carlo (lower body) has been ruled out for the remainder of the season, David Alter of The Hockey News reports Saturday.
Carlo had a disappointing season with the Maple Leafs, tallying seven assists, 65 hits, 98 blocked shots and 37 PIM in 55 games. The Maple Leafs could move him in the offseason, but if not, he will be at training camp come September.

Luca Cagnoni D | SJ
Sharks' Luca Cagnoni: Earns three points Friday
Cagnoni scored a goal and added two assists in AHL San Jose's 8-6 loss to Henderson on Friday.
This was his first three-point game of the season. Cagnoni has been steady but a little behind his pace from last year. He's at eight goals and 43 points over 66 appearances in 2025-26, compared to 16 goals and 52 points across 64 regular-season outings in 2024-25. He hasn't seen any NHL action this year but should be an option in the next couple of seasons to establish himself on the Sharks' blue line.

Bryce Pickford D | MON
Canadiens' Bryce Pickford: Two goals in WHL win
Pickford scored twice in WHL Medicine Hat's 3-2 overtime win over Calgary in Game 1 on Friday.
Pickford had four points over the first five games of the postseason as the Tigers got past Regina in the first round. The defenseman was electric in the regular season with 45 goals and 83 points over 55 contests. He also had 24 points in 18 playoff outings a year ago, so he knows how to elevate his play when it matters most.

Miro Heiskanen D | DAL
Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Will miss rest of regular season
Heiskanen (lower body) has been ruled out for Dallas' final three regular-season games, Robert Tiffin of D Magazine reports Friday.
Heiskanen will complete the regular season with nine goals and 63 points in 77 outings. That's his best showing offensively since 2022-23 (11 goals, 73 points). Dallas is still hoping to get Heiskanen back during the first round of the playoffs. In the meantime, Alex Petrovic might draw into the lineup.

Quinn Hughes D | MIN
Wild's Quinn Hughes: Pair of points in loss
Hughes scored a goal on two shots, added an assist, logged two PIM and went minus-2 in Thursday's 5-4 loss to the Stars.
Hughes tallied the Wild's first goal, which was his first since March 3. He's maintained strong offense with two goals and 16 helpers over his last 19 outings since the start of March. The 26-year-old defenseman is up to seven goals, 76 points, 187 shots on net, 85 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 73 appearances between the Wild and the Canucks this season.
-
Esa Lindell D | DAL
Stars' Esa Lindell: Provides two assists
Lindell logged two assists, three shots on goal, two blocked shots, two PIM and a plus-4 rating in Thursday's 5-4 win over the Wild.
Lindell could be poised to handle more minutes in the likely event Miro Heiskanen (lower body) misses time after getting hurt Thursday. The 31-year-old Lindell had gone five games without a point prior to this outing, which was his first multi-point performance since Jan. 12 versus the Kings. With the effort, he reached the 30-point mark on the year, adding 79 shots on net, 172 blocked shots and a plus-29 rating. It's Lindell's highest-scoring year since he had a career-best 32 points in 82 appearances in the 2018-19 regular season.

Alex Vlasic D | CHI
Blackhawks' Alex Vlasic: Bags apple in loss
Vlasic logged an assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Thursday's 7-2 loss to the Hurricanes.
Vlasic has earned five assists over his last 15 games while seeing steady top-four minutes. The 24-year-old blueliner is at 21 points, 81 shots on net, 117 blocked shots and a minus-17 rating over 78 appearances this season. He won't match last year's 30-point performance, as he's evolved into more of a shutdown defenseman after regularly serving as an overall No. 1 option for the Blackhawks last year, which included more power-play usage.

Artem Zub D | OTT
Senators' Artem Zub: Deposits goal in win
Zub scored a goal on four shots, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Panthers.
Zub hadn't scored since Jan. 13 versus the Canucks. During the 33-game goal drought, he still contributed 14 assists and a plus-10 rating. He's hardly a high-scoring defenseman, but Zub has had a career year with 29 points (five goals, 24 helpers), 88 shots on net, 116 blocked shots, 65 hits, 55 PIM and a plus-18 rating over 78 appearances. He offers multi-category upside for fantasy managers needing a boost to close out the campaign.

Simon Edvinsson D | DET
Red Wings' Simon Edvinsson: Registers assist
Edvinsson notched an assist, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Flyers.
Edvinsson has three helpers over his last five games and a total of four assists in 12 games since his last goal. The 23-year-old defenseman has played at a similar level to last year, earning 25 points in 69 appearances in 2025-26 compared to 31 points in 78 outings last season. Edvinsson also has 83 shots on net, 87 hits, 75 PIM and 146 blocked shots this year while seeing steady top-four minutes.

Logan Stanley D | BUF
Sabres' Logan Stanley: Dishes two helpers in win
Stanley logged two assists and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 5-0 win over the Blue Jackets.
Stanley was a scratch Wednesday versus the Rangers, sitting out for the first time since his March 10 debut with the Sabres. He's earned just four points, all helpers, over 15 contests for his new team, as it appears his goal scoring was left behind in Winnipeg. The defenseman is at 25 points, 93 shots on net, 109 hits, 84 blocked shots, 126 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 74 appearances between the two teams this season.
