  • Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Traveling with team

Heiskanen (knee) will travel with the Stars for Games 3 and 4 in Colorado, Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News reports Tuesday.

Heiskanen has been on the shelf since Jan. 28 versus the Golden Knights, a stretch of 34 games on the sidelines. Prior to getting hurt, the blueliner was struggling to find the back of the net, going 10 games without putting one over the goal line. Still, he did manage to pick up a helper in each of his last five appearances. If cleared to return for Game 3 on Wednesday, the Finn would likely reclaim his spot on the first power-play unit, making him a top-end fantasy target.

  • Canucks' Derek Forbort: Undergoes surgery

Forbort underwent minor surgery to repair a broken orbital bone and is doing well, Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK reports Tuesday.

Forbort missed Vancouver's last two games of the season after sustaining his injury against Minnesota on April 12. The 33-year-old blueliner should be ready for the 2025-26 campaign, though he'll need a new contract, as he's set to be an unrestricted free agent this summer. Forbort contributed two goals, nine helpers, 77 blocked shots, 65 hits and 39 shots on goal over 54 appearances in his first season with Vancouver in 2024-25.

  • Oilers' Evan Bouchard: Distributes three helpers in loss

Bouchard notched three assists, four shots on goal and two blocked shots in Monday's 6-5 loss to the Kings in Game 1.

The Oilers found some success against the Kings' staunch defense, but none of it was on the power play. Bouchard still made an impact with helpers on goals by Leon Draisaitl, Connor McDavid and Corey Perry. The 25-year-old Bouchard was scoreless in the last two games of the regular season but had 14 points over the 13 contests before that. Overall, he logged 67 points (26 on the power play), 235 shots on net, 108 blocked shots and a plus-14 rating while playing in all 82 regular-season contests.

  • Kings' Drew Doughty: Pockets assist in Game 1 win

Doughty logged an assist, three blocked shots and two PIM in Monday's 6-5 win over the Oilers in Game 1.

Doughty was limited to two appearances over the final six games of the regular season and went without a point in both of those contests. While Monday's series opener wasn't a banner night for defense, Doughty was able to chip in on offense by setting up Quinton Byfield's first-period tally. Doughty was effective when healthy in 2024-25, earning 17 points, a plus-9 rating, 45 blocked shots and 46 shots on net over 30 regular-season appearances. However, he is still managing his ankle, which he broke prior to the regular season, and he could end up out of the lineup if the issue flares up too much in the playoffs.

  • Cody Ceci D | LA

Stars' Cody Ceci: Helps out in overtime

Ceci notched an assist, four hits, three blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in Monday's 4-3 overtime win over the Avalanche in Game 2.

Ceci has picked up three helpers over his last seven outings. The 31-year-old is playing in a top-four role for the Stars, and he'll provide physicality with a little bit of depth scoring. Ceci racked up 24 points over 85 regular-season contests between the Stars and the Sharks, as well as 155 blocked shots, 76 hits and a plus-6 rating.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Tallies in Game 2 win

Harley scored a goal and went plus-2 in Monday's 4-3 overtime win over the Avalanche in Game 2.

Harley got on the scoresheet for the second game in a row in the playoffs. His tally put the Stars ahead 2-1 briefly in the second period -- Jack Drury tied it again for the Avalanche just over a minute later. Harley continues to play a massive role for the Stars in the absence of Miro Heiskanen (knee). Harley logged 35:54 of ice time Monday with the game nearly completing one extra period.

  • Canadiens' Alexandre Carrier: Nabs assist Monday

Carrier logged an assist, two shots on goal, two hits and five blocked shots in Monday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Capitals in Game 1.

Carrier was limited to two assists and a minus-4 rating over the last 13 games of the regular season. He's still in a top-four role for the Canadiens, but he's likely to be deployed in more of a shutdown role during postseason play. The 28-year-old had 25 points, 82 shots on net, 169 blocked shots, 75 hits and a minus-10 rating over 79 regular-season outings between Montreal and Nashville in 2024-25.

  • Luke Hughes D | NJ

Devils' Luke Hughes: Won't be an option Tuesday

Hughes is contending with an upper-body injury and will not be available Tuesday against Carolina in Game 2.

Hughes was nicked up in Game 1, though he was able to finish the contest, logging two shots, one block and a minus-1 rating in 22:20 of ice time. The Devils will also be without Brenden Dillon (lower body) on the blue line Tuesday, so Dennis Cholowski and Simon Nemec will suit up and make their postseason debuts. Hughes will look to be ready for Game 3 on Friday in New Jersey.

  • Devils' Brenden Dillon: Not available for Game 2

Dillon (lower body) will not be in the lineup Tuesday against the Hurricanes in Game 2.

In addition to Dillon, Luke Hughes (undisclosed) will not play Tuesday -- Simon Nemec and Dennis Cholowski will draw into the lineup as a result. Head coach Sheldon Keefe did not relay if Dillon would be available for Game 3, which is Friday in New Jersey.

  • Capitals' Martin Fehervary: Done for postseason

Fehervary underwent knee surgery Monday to repair his meniscus and will be shut down for the rest of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Fehervary sustained his knee injury in the penultimate game of the regular season and will now have to miss the Caps' entire postseason run. The 25-year-old blueliner will end his 2024-25 campaign having notched five goals and 20 helpers, both career highs, in 81 regular-season contests. With Fehervary shelved, Alexander Alexeyev will get an extended run in the playoffs.
