Scott Morrow D | NYR
Hurricanes' Scott Morrow: Sent down Friday
Morrow was assigned to AHL Chicago on Friday.
After appearing in just two games for the Hurricanes last year, Morrow made 14 appearances in the NHL this season. He recorded a goal, five assists, 16 blocked shots and three hits while averaging 15:48 of ice time, but he'll likely remain in the AHL for the Wolves' playoff run.

Zach Werenski D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Zach Werenski: Two points in Thursday's win
Werenski scored a goal and added an assist in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Islanders.
The 27-year-old put the finishing touches on a career-best campaign by extending his point streak to six games. No player exemplified the Blue Jackets' stunning season better than Werenski -- after struggling to stay on the ice over the last few years due to injuries, the All-Star blueliner played 81 games and delivered a career-high 23 goals and 82 points, putting him second in the NHL among defensemen in both categories behind only Cale Makar. Werenski also established new career highs in shots on net (298), power-play points (25) and blocked shots (131).

Dakota Mermis D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Dakota Mermis: Snags helper Thursday
Mermis notched an assist in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Red Wings.
The Maple Leafs built in some rest for their top players by leaning on the depth guys in this contest. That led to Mermis setting up Scott Laughton in overtime for the game-winning goal. It was Mermis' first point over four NHL outings between Toronto and Utah this season. Once Oliver Ekman-Larsson (upper body) and Jake McCabe (upper body) are back, Mermis will likely retreat to the press box as an emergency depth option on defense.

Christopher Tanev D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Chris Tanev: Ends drought with clutch goal
Tanev scored a goal in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Red Wings.
The Maple Leafs were two seconds from a loss when Tanev tied the game. While playing more time in a game with no impact on the season standings was probably not what the doctor ordered, Scott Laughton won it for Toronto 56 seconds into the extra session. Tanev's tally ended his 17-game point drought and gives him three goals, 18 points, 43 shots on net, 189 blocked shots and a plus-31 rating over 75 regular-season appearances. He'll be laser-focused on the defensive zone in the playoffs while filling a shutdown role.

Jordan Spence D | OTT
Kings' Jordan Spence: Assists in consecutive contests
Spence notched a power-play assist in Thursday's 5-1 loss to the Flames.
Spence has a helper in each of the last two games, and he's earned seven points and a plus-8 rating across his last 15 appearances. The 24-year-old blueliner is at 28 points, a plus-23 rating, 86 shots on net, 80 hits and 77 blocked shots through 79 regular-season appearances. He's projected to begin the playoffs in the lineup, but if he struggles, he could be bumped for Kyle Burroughs or Jacob Moverare.

Brandt Clarke D | LA
Kings' Brandt Clarke: Hands out power-play assist
Clarke logged a power-play assist, two shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Thursday's 5-1 loss to the Flames.
Clarke picked up two assists over the last four games of the regular season. The 22-year-old is set to get his first taste of playoff action, though he'll likely have to do well to stay in the lineup, as Kyle Burroughs' physical style will play well in the postseason. Clarke ended the regular season with 33 points (nine on the power play), 131 shots on net, 121 blocked shots, 46 PIM and a plus-13 rating over 78 appearances.

Brayden Pachal D | CGY
Flames' Brayden Pachal: Pockets helper in win
Pachal notched an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Kings.
Pachal picked up a helper in three straight games to end the season. The 25-year-old defenseman put up 12 points, 61 shots on net, 88 PIM, 159 hits, 83 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over 76 outings this season. Pachal played alongside Hunter Brzustewicz in Thursday's game, but the two of them could be competing for minutes in 2025-26.

Zayne Parekh D | CGY
Flames' Zayne Parekh: Scores in NHL debut
Parekh scored a goal on two shots, added two PIM and went plus-3 in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Kings.
Parekh lit the lamp at 8:24 of the third period for his first NHL goal. The 19-year-old defenseman played well, though the Kings were certainly not going all-out since they have the playoffs to think about. In any case, Parekh figures to get a long look in training camp after a 107-point campaign with OHL Saginaw this year. He won't meet the requirements to be assigned to the AHL in 2025-26, so it's NHL or junior hockey for Parekh in the upcoming season.

Justin Holl D | STL
Red Wings' Justin Holl: Rare goal in loss
Holl scored a goal and added an assist in a 4-3 overtime loss to Toronto on Thursday.
Holl shot from the blue line over Joseph Woll's glove to push the Red Wings up 2-1 early in the second period. Holl finished the season with three points (one goal, two assists) in his last three games. Prior to that, Holl had just one goal and five assists in his previous 72 games.

Vladislav Kolyachonok D | DAL
Penguins' Vladislav Kolyachonok: Plays in finale
Kolyachonok suited up and logged three hits with a shot on goal and a minus-1 rating in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Capitals.
Kolyachonok got back in the lineup after a seven-game stint as a healthy scratch. The 23-year-old ended the campaign with seven points, 20 shots on net, 27 hits, 31 blocked shots, 10 PIM and a minus-12 rating over 35 appearances between Pittsburgh and Utah. Kolyachonok has had trouble establishing himself in the NHL, but he should get a chance to prove himself in training camp next fall, considering the Penguins' blue line was a weak spot this season.
