Jonas Brodin D | MIN
Wild's Jonas Brodin: Nabs helper in win
Brodin logged an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Ducks.
Brodin helped out on Matt Boldy's game-winning goal at 4:42 of overtime. The helper ended a 10-game skid for Brodin, who continues to handle top-pairing minutes for the Wild. The 31-year-old defenseman just managed to get back to the 20-point mark for the seventh time in his 13-year career. He concludes the regular season with four goals, 16 helpers, 71 shots on net, 104 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating over 50 appearances.

Mike Reilly D | CAR
Islanders' Mike Reilly: Spending time in press box
Reilly was scratched for a 10th straight game in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Capitals.
Reilly had two assists over six contests after he returned from a long-term absence due to a heart condition. He didn't stick on the third pairing, and it's unclear if he'll play in the regular-season finale versus the Blue Jackets on Thursday. If not, Reilly will conclude the season with two helpers, 28 shots on net, 13 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 17 appearances. He's set to be an unrestricted free agent this summer.

Scott Perunovich D | UTA
Islanders' Scott Perunovich: Gets rare appearance Tuesday
Perunovich played in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Capitals.
Perunovich drew in for Alexander Romanov (illness) in the penultimate game of the season. The 26-year-old Perunovich had been scratched for the previous 23 contests. He's a pending restricted free agent heading into the summer, and it's unclear if the Islanders are interested in keeping him around. He's produced nine points, 18 shots on net, 33 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 33 appearances between the Islanders and the Blues, but Perunovich's skill set was a bit redundant on a team that also rostered Tony DeAngelo and Adam Boqvist in the second half of the campaign.

Rasmus Sandin D | WAS
Capitals' Rasmus Sandin: Gets to 30-point mark
Sandin logged a power-play assist and three blocked shots in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Islanders.
Sandin has two helpers over the last four games, though he's also gone minus-6 in that span. The defenseman reached the 30-point mark Tuesday, a level he's achieved in two of the last three campaigns. He did it with four goals, 26 helpers, 77 shots on net, 119 blocked shots and a plus-15 rating over 81 appearances.

Darnell Nurse D | EDM
Oilers' Darnell Nurse: Handed one-game ban
Nurse was suspended one game Tuesday for cross-checking the Kings' Quinton Byfield on Monday.
Nurse will get some non-optional rest ahead of the playoffs for his misdeeds during the Oilers' penultimate game. Nurse won't play versus the Sharks on Wednesday, but this suspension allows him to return for Game 1 versus the Kings at the start of the playoffs. Jake Walman (undisclosed) or Connor Carrick will fill in on the blue line while Nurse is out.

Mikey Anderson D | LA
Kings' Mikey Anderson: Getting rest Tuesday
Anderson won't suit up for Tuesday's game versus the Kraken, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.
Anderson has earned a career-high 24 points over 76 games this season. This is just a chance for the 25-year-old defenseman to get rest ahead of the playoffs. He could be back for Thursday's game versus the Flames.
-
Drew Doughty D | LA
Kings' Drew Doughty: Sitting out Tuesday
Doughty will not play Tuesday versus the Kraken, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.
Doughty continues to manage his ankle injury, but considering he played Monday, this is simply rest for a veteran ahead of the postseason. Mikey Anderson will also sit out, so Caleb Jones and Kyle Burroughs will both be in the lineup Thursday.
-
Alexander Romanov D | NYI
Islanders' Alexander Romanov: Dealing with illness
Romanov (illness) won't play against Washington on Tuesday, according to Andrew Gross of Newsday.
Romanov will miss at least one game but could return for Thursday's regular-season finale versus Columbus. He has registered four goals, 20 points, 100 shots on net, 165 blocked shots and 147 hits through 64 appearances this season. Scott Perunovich will replace Romanov in Tuesday's lineup.
-
Niko Mikkola D | FLA
Panthers' Niko Mikkola: Set to play Tuesday
Mikkola (rest) will play against the Lightning on Tuesday, Rob Darragh of the Panthers' official site reports.
Mikkola will return to action after sitting out Monday's 5-3 loss to the Rangers for rest. He has accumulated six goals, 22 points, 113 shots on net, 88 blocked shots and 132 hits across 75 appearances this season. Mikkola will skate on the top pairing alongside Seth Jones versus Tampa Bay.

Gustav Forsling D | FLA
Panthers' Gustav Forsling: Taking rest day
Forsling (rest) won't play Tuesday versus the Lightning, Rob Darragh of the Panthers' official site reports.
Forsling will sit out for the second time in six games. He had a goal and three assists over four contests since his previous rest day. The 28-year-old will be back for the playoff opener. He concludes the regular season with 11 goals and 31 points over 80 outings.
