Jake Sanderson D | OTT
Senators' Jake Sanderson: Receives maintenance day
Sanderson (rest) will not be in the lineup against the Blackhawks on Tuesday, per Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia.
Sanderson will miss just his second game of the season as Ottawa gears up for the postseason. The Sens are opting to rest a few players against Chicago, but it remains to be seen if that will be the case again in the team's regular-season finale Thursday versus Carolina. Thomas Chabot will quarterback the No. 1 power-play unit in Sanderson's stead.

Nick Jensen D | OTT
Senators' Nick Jensen: Won't play Tuesday
Jensen will be rested against Chicago on Tuesday, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports.
Jensen missed four games in mid-March due to a lower-body injury, so it is likely the team is trying to avoid a recurrence of that issue by resting him. With both Jensen and Jake Sanderson (rest) sitting Tuesday, Tyler Kleven could see a nice uptick in ice time while Nikolas Matinpalo will step into the lineup after being scratched against the Flyers on Sunday.

Darren Raddysh D | TB
Lightning's Darren Raddysh: In action against Cats
Raddysh (undisclosed) will play in Tuesday's matchup with Florida, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Raddysh was questionable heading into Tuesday's game but will be in the lineup for the Bolts. The 29-year-old defenseman is currently mired in a 14-game goal drought, though he has chipped in five helpers, 14 shots and 11 blocks over that stretch. While there is little reason to expect the Lightning to move away from utilizing seven defensemen, Raddysh would likely be the odd man out if they shift back to a 12/6 deployment.

Moritz Seider D | DET
Red Wings' Moritz Seider: Three points against Dallas
Seider scored a power-play goal and added two assists in Monday's 6-4 win over the Stars.
All of Seider's production came as part of a four-goal third period by the Red Wings. It was the 24-year-old blueliner's first multi-point performance since Jan. 23, snapping a slump that had seen him manage just three goals and 10 points over the prior 31 contests.

Andreas Englund D | NSH
Predators' Andreas Englund: Won't play Monday
Englund is day-to-day with an illness and will not play Monday versus Utah, according to Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site.
Ryan Ufko, who was recalled from AHL Milwaukee on Monday, will make his NHL debut and replace Englund in the lineup against Utah. Englund's next chance to return to game action will be in Nashville's regular-season finale Wednesday against Dallas.

Jordan Harris D | BOS
Blue Jackets' Jordan Harris: Getting look late in season
Harris played in both of the Blue Jackets' games versus the Capitals this past weekend, adding two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-3 rating.
Harris was a healthy scratch for 22 games prior to checking into the lineup in the absence of Jake Christiansen (upper body). Nothing has gone all that well for Harris in 2024-25 -- he's been limited to four points and 14 shots on net while adding 21 hits, 34 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 31 appearances this season. The 24-year-old defenseman is set for restricted free agency this summer, assuming the Blue Jackets extend him a qualifying offer.

Zach Werenski D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Zach Werenski: Ties game in first period
Werenski scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Capitals.
Werenski has two goals and two assists during his four-game point streak. He answered an Alex Ovechkin goal in the first period Sunday, and the Blue Jackets surged the rest of the way to keep their playoff hopes alive. Werenski is now at 22 goals, 78 points, 290 shots on net, 130 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating through 79 appearances in 2024-25.

Simon Benoit D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Simon Benoit: Logs assist Sunday
Benoit notched an assist and two hits in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Hurricanes.
Benoit has two helpers over his last 12 outings, adding 25 hits, 13 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating in that span. The Maple Leafs are stretched thin on defense, so Benoit should continue to see top-four minutes to close out the regular season. He's matched his career high of 10 points while contributing 46 shots on net, 59 PIM, a plus-10 rating, 201 hits and 106 blocked shots over 76 appearances this season.
-
Morgan Rielly D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Morgan Rielly: Racks up three assists Sunday
Rielly logged three assists, two blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Hurricanes.
Rielly has six helpers over his last five contests, though none of them have come on the power play. The Maple Leafs have adopted a five-forward first unit with the man advantage, leaving Rielly to play on the second unit regularly. Rielly is up to 41 points (14 on the power play), 124 shots on net, 126 blocked shots and a minus-11 rating through 80 appearances this season.

Vincent Desharnais D | SJ
Sharks' Vincent Desharnais: Remains sidelined for Monday's game
Desharnais (upper body) has been ruled out for Monday's game against Vancouver, and he's unlikely to play Wednesday against the Oilers, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.
Desharnais has missed the last nine games due to an upper-body injury, and it seems unlikely that he'll return to game action before the end of the regular season. The 28-year-old has made 51 appearances between Vancouver, Pittsburgh and San Jose this year, racking up three assists, 87 hits, 83 blocked shots and 45 PIM while averaging 15:55 of ice time.
