Nikita Zadorov D | BOS
Bruins' Nikita Zadorov: Gathers helper in Saturday's win
Zadorov recorded an assist, nine hits and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Hurricanes.
The Bruins had a rare good game, and while the top line did most of the work, Zadorov got involved with a helper on Morgan Geekie's opening tally. The assist ended a nine-game slump for Zadorov, who also missed one contest in that span for personal reasons. Zadorov is at 18 points, 102 shots on net, 101 blocked shots, 204 hits, 137 PIM and a plus-17 rating over 76 appearances this season. His offense is slightly down after three straight 20-point seasons, but he's as physical as ever and has been a defensive stalwart for a team that's struggled in the defensive zone for much of the campaign.

Marcus Pettersson D | VAN
Canucks' Marcus Pettersson: Notches helper Saturday
Pettersson recorded an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Ducks.
Pettersson has done fine on offense lately with seven helpers over his last 13 contests. The 28-year-old blueliner helped out on a Dakota Joshua tally at 14:10 of the first period, which gave the Canucks a 5-1 lead after a flurry of scoring. Pettersson is at 26 points, 65 shots on net, 77 hits, 134 blocked shots, 41 PIM and a plus-3 rating over 72 appearances between the Canucks and the Penguins this season. He's likely to fall short of the 30-point mark after reaching it last year, but Pettersson has earned the second-highest point total of his career in 2024-25.

Quinn Hughes D | MIN
Canucks' Quinn Hughes: Dishes two assists in win
Hughes logged two power-play assists in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Ducks.
Hughes' helpers came on goals by Brock Boeser and Conor Garland during the Canucks' five-goal first period. Prior to Saturday, Hughes had been held off the scoresheet in the previous two contests, his first multi-game slump in over a month. The 25-year-old defenseman is up to 72 points (27 on the power play), 176 shots on net, 63 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 62 appearances this season. With six games left on the regular-season slate, Hughes could still take a run at the 80-point mark if he gets on a hot streak.

Elias Pettersson D | VAN
Canucks' Elias Pettersson: Buries first NHL goal
Pettersson scored a goal, added two PIM and logged two hits in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Ducks.
The goal was Pettersson's first at the NHL level, and it was his first point since March 5, which was also a game against the Ducks. The rookie defenseman has settled into a third-pairing role late in 2024-25. He doesn't have much of a scoring touch yet, picking up three points, 16 shots on net, 28 hits, 11 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over his first 22 NHL contests.

Filip Hronek D | VAN
Canucks' Filip Hronek: Pots go-ahead goal
Hronek scored a goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Ducks.
Hronek put the Canucks ahead 2-1 midway through the first period, just over a minute after Elias Pettersson got Vancouver on the board. This was Hronek's first goal since March 11 versus the Canadiens. The 27-year-old blueliner had four assists during the goal drought. He's now at five goals, 24 helpers, 75 shots on net, 79 hits, 70 blocked shots, 38 PIM and a minus-4 rating across 55 outings in 2024-25.

Alec Martinez D | CHI
Blackhawks' Alec Martinez: Not ready to return
Martinez (hip) won't play against Pittsburgh on Sunday, according to Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio.
Martinez will miss his seventh straight game but could be available to return soon. He has produced five goals, 12 points, 36 shots on net, 80 blocked shots and 23 hits in 43 appearances this season. Martinez's next chance to play will be Tuesday's rematch versus the Penguins.

Ilya Lyubushkin D | DAL
Stars' Ilya Lyubushkin: Adds assist in Saturday's loss
Lyubushkin registered an assist, two blocked shots and two PIM in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Penguins.
Lyubushkin ended an 11-game point drought when he assisted on Evgenii Dadonov's third goal of the contest. Offense isn't the primary responsibility for Lyubushkin, who continues to fill a top-four role as a shutdown defender. He's matched his career high with 14 points (one goal, 13 assists) this season while adding 48 shots on net, 81 hits, 130 blocked shots, 32 PIM and a plus-8 rating.

Kris Letang D | PIT
Penguins' Kris Letang: Snaps slump Saturday
Letang posted an assist, two shots on goal, four PIM, two blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Stars.
The helper snapped a six-game slump for Letang, who had earned four assists over five contests prior to the drought. The 37-year-old defenseman has had some cold stretches this season, which is to be expected at his age while playing for a declining team. He's at eight goals, 21 helpers, 158 shots on net, 112 hits, 98 blocked shots, 48 PIM and a minus-16 rating through 70 outings overall.

Jacob Middleton D | MIN
Wild's Jake Middleton: Won't play Sunday
Middleton (upper body) won't play Sunday against the Stars.
Middleton remains day-to-day after leaving Friday's 3-1 loss to the Islanders with an injury following a hit from Bo Horvat. Declan Chisholm will likely enter the lineup in Middleton's absence.

K'Andre Miller D | CAR
Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Not skating Sunday
Miller is not practicing Sunday as he deals with an illness, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.
Miller was on the ice for 23:21 in Saturday's 4-0 loss to New Jersey, though he'll sit out Sunday's practice as he looks to get healthy for Monday's home matchup with the Lightning. Miller has seven goals and 23 points in 70 games this season. Zac Jones would likely reenter the lineup if Miller can't go.
