Joel Hanley D | CGY
Flames' Joel Hanley: Tickles twine in overtime loss
Hanley scored a goal on three shots and added four hits in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights.
Hanley has just three points over 18 games since the start of March. His tally Saturday ended a stretch of 19 contests without a goal and seven outings without a point. The 33-year-old blueliner has stepped up in a top-four role as a shutdown defenseman, giving MacKenzie Weegar a bit more freedom on offense. Hanley is at two goals, seven points, 39 shots on net, 54 hits, 80 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating across 48 appearances in 2024-25. He needs one more point to match his career high from a 35-game sample in 2020-21.

Shea Theodore D | LV
Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: Three primary assists in win
Theodore notched three assists, two shots on goal and a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Flames.
Theodore set up Pavel Dorofeyev's opening goal and assisted on both Reilly Smith tallies, including the game-winner at 4:31 of overtime. Theodore has played in six contests since returning from an arm injury he suffered at the 4 Nations Face-Off, and he has had six helpers since getting back in the lineup. The 29-year-old blueliner has a career-high 54 points (seven goals, 47 assists) this season, and he's added 119 shots on net, 73 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating over 61 outings.

Josh Mahura D | SEA
Kraken's Josh Mahura: Draws in, earns helper
Mahura logged an assist, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Sharks.
Mahura was scratched for the previous two games before replacing Cale Fleury in the lineup Saturday. The 26-year-old Mahura saw steady playing time between mid-December and mid-March, but he's been out of action for five of the Kraken's last 12 contests. He has the same number of assists as last season (nine), but it's taken him twice as many games (60) to get to that mark. He's added 57 shots on net, 81 hits, 50 blocked shots, 18 PIM and a plus-6 rating in a third-pairing role.

Adam Larsson D | SEA
Kraken's Adam Larsson: Bags helper Saturday
Larsson produced an assist, two shots on goal, three blocked shots and two PIM in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Sharks.
Larsson has a goal, four assists, a plus-7 rating, 12 shots on net and eight blocked shots over his last five contests. The 32-year-old kept his warm stretch going when he set up an Andre Burakovsky tally in the first period. The helper was Larsson's 20th of the season, a level he's reached just twice before in his career. He's at 27 points -- second only to his career-high 33 from 2022-23 -- and he's added 104 shots on net, 97 hits, 138 blocked shots and a plus-22 rating over 77 appearances in 2024-25.

Seamus Casey D | NJ
Devils' Seamus Casey: Picks up helper
Casey notched an assist in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Rangers.
Casey earned his first point in his first game since being recalled from AHL Utica on Wednesday. The 21-year-old slotted into a third-pairing role, bumping fellow youngster Simon Nemec out of the lineup for Saturday's game. Casey has displayed his skills in a small sample this season, earning six points, nine shots on net, eight hits, seven blocked shots and a plus-6 rating across 11 NHL appearances. He may have a chance to compete for third-pairing minutes to close out the regular season, though Nemec and Dennis Cholowski are also in the mix.

Brenden Dillon D | NJ
Devils' Brenden Dillon: Adds shorthanded assist in win
Dillon logged a shorthanded assist, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Rangers.
Dillon has three helpers over his last eight outings. The defenseman helped out on a Jesper Bratt tally in the second period, putting the Devils up 2-0. Dillon is now at 16 points, 45 shots on net, 181 hits, 104 blocked shots, 65 PIM and a plus-8 rating over 77 appearances this season. He will likely miss the 20-point mark for the first time since 2020-21, but he remains a key defensive figure in the Devils' lineup.
-
Rasmus Dahlin D | BUF
Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Reaches 60-point mark
Dahlin recorded a power-play assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Lightning.
Dahlin has three points over two contests in April, continuing his strong play from March (11 points in 15 games). The defenseman helped out on Jason Zucker's game-tying tally in the third period Saturday. Dahlin reached the 60-point mark for the second time in the last three years, doing so with 14 goals, 46 helpers, 177 shots on net, 89 hits, 95 blocked shots, 50 PIM and a plus-7 rating over 66 appearances in a top-pairing role. He is tied with Victor Hedman for sixth place in points among all defensemen, though Dahlin got to the mark with seven fewer games played this year.

Thomas Chabot D | OTT
Senators' Thomas Chabot: Reaches 30-assist mark
Chabot notched an assist and a plus-1 rating in Saturday's 3-0 win over Florida.
Chabot helped Ottawa inch closer to securing a playoff spot when he set up Matthew Highmore's empty-netter to seal the win. As a result of that insurance tally, the 28-year-old Chabot reached the 30-assist mark for the fifth time in his nine-year NHL career. The 2015 first-round selection has accumulated six goals, 36 points and a plus-12 rating across 75 appearances in 2024-25. Even though Jake Sanderson has taken over as Ottawa's No. 1 defenseman, Chabot is still capable of chipping in offensively when needed. The Senators' remaining schedule is far from a gauntlet, and Chabot could provide meaningful value for fantasy managers down the stretch.

Devon Toews D | COL
Avalanche's Devon Toews: Garners assist in loss
Toews recorded an assist in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Blues.
Toews has two goals and eight assists over his last eight contests, including four points over three games in April. The defenseman made a late contribution Saturday by setting up a Sam Malinski goal at 19:51 of the third period. Toews' surge has gotten his offense into familiar territory -- he's at 43 points through 74 outings, but he'll likely fall short of the 50-point mark for the first time in four years. The 31-year-old has added 136 shots on net, 99 blocked shots, 39 hits and a plus-31 rating.

Cale Makar D | COL
Avalanche's Cale Makar: Sets career high in points, games
Makar posted an assist, two shots on goal and four blocked shots in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Blues.
The helper was Makar's 91st point of the season, surpassing his previous career high of 90 from the 2023-24 campaign. He also skated in his 78th contest of the season, which is a personal best for a defenseman who's had more than his share of injuries early in his career. He's at 30 goals, 61 helpers, 243 shots on net, 123 blocked shots, 50 hits and a plus-31 rating in 2024-25, and he's earned three goals and four assists during his active four-game point streak.
