  • Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: Adds power-play assist

LaCombe notched a power-play assist, three blocked shots and a minus-3 rating in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

LaCombe has points in five straight games, earning two goals and five assists in that span. The 24-year-old defenseman didn't have the strongest performance Sunday, but his offense has been more than enough to benefit fantasy managers in 2024-25. He's now at 42 points (eight on the power play), 121 shots on net, 114 blocked shots, 59 hits and a plus-1 rating through 66 appearances this season.

  • Simon Benoit D | TOR

Maple Leafs' Simon Benoit: Generates helper against old team

Benoit managed an assist and went plus-3 in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Ducks.

Benoit had five points over 15 outings in March, his most productive month of the season by far. He helped out on Steven Lorentz's game-winning tally Sunday. Benoit is up to nine points, 42 shots on net, 188 hits, 97 blocked shots, 54 PIM and a plus-5 rating over 70 appearances this season. He needs one more point to match his career high from 78 games in the 2022-23 campaign with the Ducks.

  • Penguins' Erik Karlsson: Sets up game-winner

Karlsson logged a power-play assist, two shots on goal, two hits and two blocked shots in Sunday's 1-0 overtime win over the Senators.

Karlsson had been limited to one helper over his previous five games. The defenseman's last three points have come with the man advantage. For the season, Karlsson is up to 51 points (15 on the power play), 178 shots on net, 88 blocked shots and a minus-24 rating through 75 appearances. Barring an April injury, he's set to play in every game for the third year in a row, something he's done just one other time in his career.

  • Adam Pelech D | NYI

Islanders' Adam Pelech: Helpers in back-to-back games

Pelech notched an assist and went plus-2 in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Hurricanes.

Pelech was a bright spot for the Islanders in an otherwise poor defensive showing. This was his second game in a row with a helper. The 30-year-old defenseman is up to 19 assists this season while adding 99 shots on net, 78 blocked shots, 70 hits and a plus-6 rating through 52 appearances. He hasn't scored a goal, but he could still get to the 20-point mark for the fourth time in his 10-year career.

  • Noah Dobson D | MON

Islanders' Noah Dobson: Manages power-play helper Sunday

Dobson logged a power-play assist, four shots on goal, four PIM and a minus-2 rating in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Hurricanes.

Dobson set up Kyle Palmieri's game-tying goal in the first period. This ended a three-game drought for Dobson, though he took a minus rating for the sixth contest in a row, going minus-12 with five helpers in that span. For the season, the 25-year-old blueliner has 35 points, 183 shots on net, 109 blocked shots, 53 hits, 24 PIM and a minus-15 rating over 62 appearances. The Islanders' abysmal power-play conversion rate (12.6 percent) has accounted for much of his drop in offense this season.

  • Hurricanes' Jaccob Slavin: Ends dry spell Sunday

Slavin posted a shorthanded assist in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Islanders.

Slavin's helper came on a Seth Jarvis tally late in the second period. This ended an 11-game drought for Slavin, who collected 16 shots on net, 23 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over that span. The 30-year-old continues to fill a primarily defensive role for the Hurricanes as their top shutdown blueliner, but he's usually good for a little more offense. This season, he has 24 points, 100 shots on net, 129 blocks and a plus-19 rating through 73 appearances.

  • Hurricanes' Shayne Gostisbehere: Registers power-play assist

Gostisbehere logged a power-play assist in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Islanders.

Gostisbehere has six helpers over his last six contests. The 31-year-old defenseman set up a Sebastian Aho tally in the second period, which tied the game at 3-3. Gostisbehere continues to excel on offense and wraps up March with nine helpers over 13 appearances, including five on the power play, as well as a plus-10 rating. The blueliner has 41 points (24 on the power play), 112 shots on net, 62 blocked shots, 41 hits and a plus-4 rating through 64 outings this season.

  • Hurricanes' Dmitry Orlov: Deposits game-winner Sunday

Orlov scored a goal on three shots in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Islanders.

Orlov's tally at 9:19 of the third period was the game-winner in a back-and-forth contest. The defenseman has scored twice on 14 shots over six games since he returned from an upper-body injury. For the season, he's up to six goals, 26 points, 107 shots on net, 95 hits, 51 blocked shots and a plus-14 rating through 68 appearances, matching his point total from the full 82-game regular season a year ago.

  • Sharks' Marc-Edouard Vlasic: Suiting up in Los Angeles

Vlasic (upper body) will return to the lineup Sunday against the Kings, per Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now.

Vlasic will replace Jimmy Schuldt (undisclosed) in the lineup after sitting out four games due to an upper-body injury. Vlasic hasn't cracked the scoresheet since Jan. 14 versus Detroit, so his return won't move the needle for many fantasy managers.

  • Sharks' Jimmy Schuldt: Not on road trip

Schuldt (lower body) won't play against the Kings on Sunday, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.

Marc-Edouard Vlasic (upper body) will replace Schuldt in the lineup Sunday. The 29-year-old Schuldt probably won't be available for Tuesday's game in Anaheim because he didn't travel with the team to Los Angeles. Schuldt has not recorded a point while averaging 13:43 of ice time over six appearances with the Sharks in 2024-25.
