Alec Martinez D | CHI
Blackhawks' Alec Martinez: Won't play Sunday
Martinez (undisclosed) won't play Sunday against the Flyers, Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio reports.
Martinez left Saturday's game in the first period after taking an awkward hit from Jake Neighbours. The 37-year-old Martinez has five goals and 12 points through 43 games this season. Due to Martinez's absence, Louis Crevier will be in Sunday's lineup.

Spencer Stastney D | EDM
Predators' Spencer Stastney: Lends helper Saturday
Stastney notched an assist and two blocked shots in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Maple Leafs.
Stastney has three helpers over his last seven contests while seeing fairly steady usage on the third pairing. He'll have to fend off Jordan Oesterle for playing time, but Andreas Englund is likely in more danger of stepping out of the lineup than Stastney. For the season, the 25-year-old Stastney is up to three helpers, 12 shots on net, 17 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating across 16 NHL appearances.

Ryan McDonagh D | TB
Lightning's Ryan McDonagh: Stays warm with helper
McDonagh logged an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 6-4 loss to Utah.
McDonagh has four assists over his last eight games. He avoided a serious injury after taking a puck to the head Thursday versus the Stars, and he logged 19:45 of ice time Saturday. The defenseman is seeing time on the second power-play unit as well as the second pairing at even strength. He's had a decent year with 23 points, a plus-36 rating, 67 shots on net and 134 blocked shots over 69 appearances.

Nicklaus Perbix D | NSH
Lightning's Nick Perbix: Gathers helper
Perbix provided an assist and two blocked shots in Saturday's 6-4 loss to Utah.
The helper snapped an 11-game point drought for Perbix. The 26-year-old has played in seven straight games since he was a healthy scratch twice earlier in March. Emil Lilleberg was out of the lineup Saturday, but Perbix and Darren Raddysh have also been sent to the press box on occasion. Perbix has limited fantasy appeal with just 15 points to go with 56 shots on net, 56 blocked shots, 46 hits and a plus-3 rating across 61 outings this season.

Michael Kesselring D | BUF
Hockey Club's Michael Kesselring: Nabs assist Saturday
Kesselring produced an assist and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Lightning.
Kesselring snapped a seven-game point drought with the primary helper on Logan Cooley's first-period tally. It's no surprise Kesselring's offense has dipped late in the season -- he's averaging just 14:50 of ice time per game since the start of February, compared to 19:05 per game prior to that point when Utah had more injuries on the blue line. Kesselring has still put together a career year with 26 points, a plus-9 rating, 78 hits, 59 blocked shots, 74 PIM and 130 shots on net through 70 appearances.

Dmitry Orlov D | SJ
Hurricanes' Dmitry Orlov: Pots goal in blowout loss
Orlov scored a goal on three shots and added two PIM in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Kings.
This was Orlov's second game back after he missed five contests due to an upper-body injury. The defenseman snapped a 27-game goal drought dating back to his Dec. 28 tally versus the Devils. He had also gone 11 contests without a point, 10 of which were before his injury. The 33-year-old blueliner is up to five goals, 20 helpers, 97 shots on net, 89 hits, 50 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a plus-15 rating through 64 appearances. Orlov continues to operate in more of a shutdown role, though his scoring pace has been a little better than the 26-point effort he had in 82 regular-season outings a year ago.
-
Drew Doughty D | LA
Kings' Drew Doughty: Provides two helpers
Doughty notched two assists in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Hurricanes.
Doughty was the team's lone blueliner to get on the scoresheet in the blowout win. He helped out on goals by Anze Kopitar (on the power play) and Tanner Jeannot. Doughty hadn't earned a multi-point effort since Feb. 22 versus Utah but has a goal and five assists over his last eight outings. For the season, he's at 11 points, 32 shots on net, 35 blocked shots, 17 hits, 16 PIM and a plus-2 rating across 20 appearances.

Lucas Carlsson D | SJ
Sharks' Lucas Carlsson: Two points in return to NHL
Carlsson scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Bruins.
Carlsson made his first NHL appearance since early in the 2022-23 campaign with the Panthers. The 27-year-old defenseman last got on the scoresheet in an NHL game the year before that, but he made the most of his Sharks debut with the game-winning tally at 16:37 of the third period, as well as a helper on Barclay Goodrow's empty-netter. Carlsson could stick with the big club while Henry Thrun (upper body) and Marc-Edouard Vlasic (upper body) are on the mend. Even with Saturday's impressive performance, Carlsson is unlikely to be much of an option for fantasy managers, given his limited track record.
-
Vince Dunn D | SEA
Kraken's Vince Dunn: Contributes power-play helper
Dunn logged a power-play assist, two shots on goal, three blocked shots and four PIM in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Oilers.
Dunn has delivered seven assists over 11 outings in March, including a pair of power-play helpers. The 28-year-old defenseman is up to 33 points (10 on the power play), 120 shots on net, 59 blocked shots, 29 PIM and a minus-9 rating through 51 outings overall. Dunn's recent play is enough for fantasy managers to at least keep him on their rosters, though he should be in the lineup most of the time as well.

Jake Walman D | EDM
Oilers' Jake Walman: Sets up empty-netter
Walman recorded a shorthanded assist in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Kraken.
Walman's helper was on Ryan Nugent-Hopkins' empty-netter, which completed a hat trick for the forward. With four assists over eight games as an Oiler, Walman has settled in nicely with his new team. He's at 36 points (seven on the power play, one shorthanded), 139 shots on net, 134 blocked shots, 55 hits and a plus-4 rating through 58 appearances between Edmonton and San Jose this season.
