Jacob Bernard-Docker D | DET
Sabres' Jacob Bernard-Docker: Attends practice Friday
Bernard-Docker (not injury related) practiced for the first time with the Sabres on Friday, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports.
Bernard-Docker's work visa issues have been resolved, allowing him to join his new team at practice. However, there's no guarantee he'll be in the lineup on a regular basis going forward. He could draw in for Jacob Bryson (upper body) in Saturday's matinee game versus the Golden Knights.

John Klingberg D | SJ
Oilers' John Klingberg: Still not ready Friday
Klingberg (undisclosed) won't play Friday versus the Islanders, Bob Stauffer of the Oilers Radio Network reports.
Klingberg is on the Oilers' road trip, but he will miss his fifth straight game Friday. Troy Stecher remains in the lineup but will likely revert to being a healthy scratch regularly once Klingberg is cleared to play. The Oilers' road trip ends against the Rangers on Sunday.

Dmitry Orlov D | SJ
Hurricanes' Dmitry Orlov: Won't play Friday
Orlov (upper body) will miss Friday's tilt against Detroit, per Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site.
Orlov will miss his fourth straight game. He's regarded as day-to-day, so perhaps he can still return Saturday in Philadelphia. The 33-year-old has four goals, 24 points, 88 hits and 49 blocks in 62 appearances in 2024-25.

Ryan Suter D | STL
Blues' Ryan Suter: Logs assist Thursday
Suter posted an assist and four shots on goal in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Penguins.
Suter is likely to be a key veteran in the bottom four for the Blues, as Colton Parayko (knee) won't return in the regular season. This leaves some extra minutes for Suter, who is up to 13 points, 50 shots on net, 80 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 66 appearances. The 40-year-old defenseman isn't a factor in fantasy at this point in his career, but he'll keep one of Matt Kessel or Tyler Tucker out of the lineup on a regular basis.

Conor Timmins D | BUF
Penguins' Conor Timmins: Pots goal in Thursday's win
Timmins scored a goal, added two PIM and went plus-3 in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Blues.
Timmins picked up a goal in his third game as a Penguin. The 26-year-old is at just nine points with 54 shots on net, 45 hits, 78 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating across 54 appearances when accounting for his time with the Maple Leafs before the trade deadline. Timmins is working on carving out a regular role on the Penguins' third pairing, which should be a little easier as long as Pierre-Olivier Joseph (upper body) and Ryan Shea (upper body) are out.
-
Ryan Graves D | PIT
Penguins' Ryan Graves: Nets first goal of season
Graves scored a goal and added three hits in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Blues.
Graves has been in and out of the lineup as a healthy scratch lately, though he should play regularly until one of Pierre-Olivier Joseph (upper body) or Ryan Shea (upper body) returns. The goal Thursday was Graves' first of the season, as the 29-year-old has had trouble making any positive impact on offense. He's at two points, 32 shots on net, a minus-15 rating, 25 PIM, 52 hits and 56 blocked shots over 47 appearances.

Elias Pettersson D | VAN
Canucks' Elias Pettersson: Available Saturday
Pettersson (upper body) will be available versus the Blackhawks on Saturday, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.
Pettersson will avoid missing any time after taking a blow to the head against the Flames on Wednesday. Even with the youngster cleared to play, he could serve as a healthy scratch against Chicago, or beyond, if Tyler Myers (undisclosed) is also given the all-clear.
-
Tyler Myers D | DAL
Canucks' Tyler Myers: Likely to return Saturday
Myers (undisclosed) is probable for Saturday's clash against Chicago, per Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650.
Myers missed Wednesday's win over Calgary due to the injury. He has four goals, 21 points, 70 PIM, 73 hits and 108 blocks in 61 appearances with Vancouver in 2024-25. If Myers plays against the Blackhawks, then Victor Mancini might be a healthy scratch.
-
Evan Bouchard D | EDM
Oilers' Evan Bouchard: Tallies in loss Thursday
Bouchard scored a goal on five shots and blocked two shots in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Devils.
Bouchard is up to a six-game point streak (four goals, three assists) after his third-period tally Thursday. The 25-year-old defenseman is up to 13 goals, 52 points, 193 shots on net, 89 blocked shots and a plus-13 rating over 65 outings this season. Bouchard hasn't reached the same heights as his 82-point effort in the 2023-24 regular season, but he's maintained a heavy workload in the Oilers' top four and on the power play.
-
Simon Nemec D | NJ
Devils' Simon Nemec: Scores game-winner Thursday
Nemec scored the game-winning goal in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Oilers.
Nemec was scratched for the previous two games, but he replaced Dennis Cholowski in the lineup Thursday. The 21-year-old Nemec came up clutch with the game-winning tally at 8:25 of the third period. While he saw just 9:58 of ice time, the blueliner has a chance to carve out a regular role for himself over the last month of the regular season. Nemec has been limited to two points with 12 shots on net, 19 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 17 appearances this season. He should play a fair amount since Jonas Siegenthaler (lower body) and Dougie Hamilton (lower body) are both done for the regular season.
