Luke Schenn D | BUF
Jets' Luke Schenn: Dealt to Winnipeg
The Jets acquired Schenn from Pittsburgh on Friday in exchange for a second and fourth-round pick, according to Chris Johnston of The Athletic.
Schenn was dealt to Pittsburgh from Nashville on Wednesday, but he never played for the Penguins. The tough defensive defenseman has only one goal and four assists across 61 appearances with the Predators, managing 76 blocked shots and a whopping 228 hits. He will likely be a third-pairing defenseman who will add plenty of physicality to the Jets lineup.

Dennis Gilbert D | OTT
Senators' Dennis Gilbert: Heading to Ottawa
Gilbert, Dylan Cozens and a 2026 second-round pick were traded to the Senators from the Sabres on Friday in exchange for Josh Norris and Jacob Bernard-Docker.
Gilbert made 25 appearances for the Sabres this year and logged five assists, 52 hits, 29 blocked shots and 50 PIM while averaging 10:04 of ice time. The 28-year-old has picked up four points over eight appearances since the start of February, and he should have an opportunity to earn time in Buffalo's lineup late in the year.

Jacob Bernard-Docker D | DET
Sabres' Jacob Bernard-Docker: Shuffles off to Buffalo
The Sabres acquired Bernard-Docker and Josh Norris from Ottawa for Dylan Cozens, Dennis Gilbert and a second-round pick in 2026 on Friday.
Bernard-Docker last played Dec. 28, when he suffered a high-ankle sprain. He was taken off injured reserve Saturday and has been a healthy scratch the last three games. Bernard-Docker had a goal and four points in 25 appearances before the trade. He will likely be a third-pairing blueliner at best with the Sabres the rest of the season.

Matt Kessel D | STL
Blues' Matt Kessel: Recalled from minors
Kessel was recalled from AHL Springfield on Friday.
Kessel played 27 games with the Blues earlier in the season, picking up three assists while averaging 13:05 of ice time on the bottom pairing. Kessel's promotion comes as a result of Colton Parayko (knee) facing an extended absence, though he will likely be a healthy scratch Friday in Anaheim.

Andrew Peeke D | BOS
Bruins' Andrew Peeke: Rare offensive showing Thursday
Peeke picked up two assists in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Hurricanes.
It was the 26-year-old blueliner's first multi-point performance since Jan. 14, and it snapped a nine-game point drought. Peeke is poised to establish a new career high in points, but his offensive numbers remain modest -- through 58 appearances on the season, he's managed just one goal and 15 points with 90 blocked shots, 67 hits, 58 shots on net and a minus-3 rating.

Michael Kesselring D | BUF
Hockey Club's Michael Kesselring: Two helpers in Detroit
Kesselring picked up two assists in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Red Wings.
The 25-year-old blueliner had a hand in tallies by Dylan Guenther in the first period and on Kevin Stenlund's game-winner in the third. It was Kesselring's first multi-point performance since Dec. 7, and his time on the second power-play unit has also dried up since Sean Durzi returned to the lineup. Kesselring is still maintaining a decent pace of production however, managing one goal and six points over 11 games since the beginning of February.

Lian Bichsel D | DAL
Stars' Lian Bichsel: Sent down Friday
Bichsel was reassigned to AHL Texas on Friday.
Bichsel's demotion is almost certainly designed to give the Stars some more roster and cap flexibility ahead of Friday's trade deadline. Since mid-December, the 20-year-old blueliner has played in 20 NHL games for Dallas and will likely be recalled from the minors ahead of Saturday's clash with Edmonton.

Darren Raddysh D | TB
Lightning's Darren Raddysh: One of each Thursday
Raddysh scored a goal on three shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 6-5 win over the Sabres.
Raddysh has five points over his last three outings. His first-period tally Thursday was his first goal since Jan. 20 versus the Maple Leafs. The defenseman was called on for 24:47 of ice time, a season high by one second, because Victor Hedman (undisclosed) was hurt early. If Hedman misses additional time, Raddysh would be a candidate to quarterback the top power-play unit. The 29-year-old Raddysh has four goals, 28 points, 88 shots on net, 50 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating through 54 appearances, so he certainly has the scoring chops to handle a larger role.

Josh Manson D | COL
Avalanche's Josh Manson: Grabs helper in return
Manson logged an assist, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 7-3 win over the Sharks.
Manson recorded 19:33 of ice time in his return from a seven-game absence due to a lower-body injury. The 33-year-old was on the second pairing and will likely slot in there as long as the Avalanche don't make any big moves on the blue line ahead of Friday's deadline. For the season, Manson has 14 points, 58 shots on net, 95 hits, 54 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating over 44 appearances.

Devon Toews D | COL
Avalanche's Devon Toews: Offers assist
Toews produced an assist, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 7-3 win over the Sharks.
Toews has a helper in two of the last three games and has earned seven points across his last 11 outings. The defenseman's contribution was late Thursday, as he assisted on Cale Makar's third-period tally. Toews is up to 30 points, 112 shots on net, 80 blocked shots and a plus-23 rating through 59 appearances. He is all but guaranteed to fall short of the 50-point mark for the first time since 2020-21.
