  • Red Wings' Moritz Seider: Notches helper Sunday

Seider logged an assist, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over the Canucks.

Seider has gone 23 games without a goal, but he's amassed 16 helpers in that span, including four assists over his last six outings. The 23-year-old helped out on Alex DeBrincat's game-winning goal Sunday. Seider continues to serve as Detroit's top defenseman, and he's an all-around elite among blueliners in fantasy. He's up to 32 points, 103 shots on net, 142 hits, 120 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating through 53 appearances. Through Sunday's action, Seider and Calgary's MacKenzie Weegar are the only defensemen to have 100 each of shots on goal, hits and blocks this season.

  • Ben Chiarot D | DET

Red Wings' Ben Chiarot: Pots goal Sunday

Chiarot scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over the Canucks.

Chiarot has scored twice over his last seven contests, but that's all of his offense across the last 15 games. The 33-year-old's tally gave the Red Wings a 2-1 lead in the second period. Chiarot is up to three goals, nine points, 71 shots on net, 82 hits, 95 blocked shots, 43 PIM and an even plus-minus rating through 52 appearances. He fills a defense-first role in the Red Wings' top four, and he's noticeably behind the pace that saw him rack up 20 points over 77 outings in the 2023-24 regular season.

  • Panthers' Gustav Forsling: Pair of apples in win

Forsling dished out two assists, posted a plus-3 rating and had three shots on goal in Sunday's 6-3 win against the Islanders.

Forsling generated a rebound off Islanders goalie Jakub Skarek for the defenseman's first assist. The second helper came just before the end of the second period, when Forsling set up Sam Reinhart. On the season, the 28-year-old blueliner is up to 13 assists, 20 points, a plus-26 rating, 138 shots on net and 60 blocked shots in 54 appearances. His rating of plus-26 is tied for fifth-best in the league, proving Forsling's impact goes well beyond his offensive contributions. Forsling provides well-rounded category coverage for fantasy purposes.

  • Owen Power D | BUF

Sabres' Owen Power: Extends point streak in victory

Power compiled an assist, a team-high nine shots on net, two hits, and a plus-2 rating Sunday in a 4-3 win over the Devils.

Power registered the primary helper on Tage Thompson's game-opening goal in the first period. Power is starting to heating up -- he's logged an assist in four straight games. The 22-year-old is up to six goals and 28 points over 52 appearances while filling a top-four role in addition to a spot on the No. 2 power-play unit.

  • Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Two apples in home win

Dahlin recorded two assists, one while shorthanded, in Sunday's 4-3 win over New Jersey.

Dahlin has garnered back-to-back multi-point efforts and has five helpers during his three-game point streak. While the smooth-skating blueliner has been productive in the assist department, he hasn't found the back of the net since Nov. 23, though he missed eight games in December. Dahlin has registered at least one shot on goal in every game since his last tally, so the dam could break soon. His current 5.2 shooting percentage is his worst mark since the 2020-21 campaign.

  • Hockey Club's Michael Kesselring: Nets lone goal in loss

Kesselring scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Blues.

Kesselring tied the game at 1-1 in the third period, but Jordan Kyrou scored minutes later to win it for the Blues. The goal was Kesselring's fifth point over his last 11 outings. The defenseman continues to handle a top-four role and looks steady doing so. He's at a career-high six goals with 99 shots on net, 59 hits, 46 blocked shots, 58 PIM and a plus-7 rating through 52 appearances this season.

  • Senators' Jacob Bernard-Docker: Shifts to LTIR

Bernard-Docker (ankle) was transferred to long-term injured reserve Sunday, according to PuckPedia.

Bernard-Docker suffered a high-ankle sprain in practice Jan. 6. In his stead, Nikolas Matinpalo has received consistent playing time. Bernard-Docker will be hard-pressed to earn a spot in the lineup once he returns to full strength -- Nick Jensen (undisclosed) is nearing a return and will most likely round out Ottawa's six blueliners. Bernard-Docker has contributed one goal and three helpers across 25 appearances this campaign.

  • Tyler Tucker D | STL

Blues' Tyler Tucker: Hurt after falling into boards

Tucker sustained an upper-body injury in Sunday's 2-1 win over Utah, per Matthew DeFranks of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Tucker was injured after losing his balance and subsequently crashing into the end wall late in the third period. Head coach Jim Montgomery did not have an update on Tucker's status after the game, so the 24-year-old will presumably be fully evaluated Monday in St. Louis. Tucker should be considered day-to-day ahead of Tuesday's home matchup against Edmonton.

  • Blue Jackets' Ivan Provorov: Deposits goal in loss

Provorov scored a goal on four shots and blocked four shots in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Stars.

Provorov gave the Blue Jackets their third one-goal lead of the contest, but it didn't last. The 28-year-old also saw a season-high 29:30 of ice time while covering for Dante Fabbro (upper body), who was hurt early in the game. Provorov could be in line for a move up to the top defensive pairing alongside Zach Werenski for the duration of Fabbro's absence. The 28-year-old Provorov has three points over his last six outings and a total of 22 points, 62 shots on net, 80 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over 53 appearances this season.

  • Stars' Ilya Lyubushkin: Chips in with helper

Lyubushkin notched an assist in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Blue Jackets.

Lyubushkin has three helpers over his last eight games. The 30-year-old defenseman saw 15:39 of ice time Sunday despite being listed on the top pairing. Any gains in usage he was going to receive in the absence of Miro Heiskanen (knee) likely evaporated when the Stars acquired Cody Ceci from the Sharks on Saturday. Lyubushkin will instead remain a physical presence in a depth role, one that's seen him produce 11 helpers, 29 shots on net, 62 hits, 81 blocked shots and a plus-12 rating through 52 outings this season.
