Jacob Trouba D | ANA
Ducks' Jacob Trouba: Racks up pair of assists
Trouba notched two assists, two shots on goal, four hits, two blocked shots and a plus-5 rating in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Penguins.
Trouba put forth an excellent effort, which was his first multi-point outing as a member of the Ducks. His production has been similar between the Ducks and the Rangers this season, though he's been a bit more physical since he was traded. The 30-year-old blueliner has 11 helpers, a minus-3 rating, 75 shots on net, 101 hits, 133 blocked shots and 34 PIM over 47 appearances.

Quinn Hughes D | MIN
Canucks' Quinn Hughes: Stays warm with assist
Hughes provided an assist and three shots on goal in Thursday's 6-2 loss to the Oilers.
Hughes helped out on a Filip Hronek tally in the second period. With four goals and three assists over his last six games, Hughes is as productive as ever while leading the Canucks' defense. The 25-year-old blueliner is up to 52 points (12 goals, 40 helpers), 128 shots on net, 43 blocked shots, 27 PIM and a plus-11 rating through 43 contests. Matching last season's 92-point campaign isn't out of the question even after Hughes missed four games due to an undisclosed injury.

Filip Hronek D | VAN
Canucks' Filip Hronek: Nets goal in loss
Hronek scored a goal on two shots and blocked three shots in Thursday's 6-2 loss to the Oilers.
Hronek has two points over five contests since returning from a lower-body injury, but he's also gone minus-5 in that span. The 27-year-old defenseman has resumed a top-four role, but the Canucks are struggling and he hasn't helped them turn things around yet. Hronek is at two goals, 11 points, 33 shots on net, 41 hits, 28 blocked shots, 18 PIM and a plus-9 rating over 26 outings this season.

Ty Emberson D | EDM
Oilers' Ty Emberson: Contributes helper
Emberson logged an assist in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Canucks.
Emberson has three helpers over 11 outings in January, matching his output for all of December. The 24-year-old defenseman doesn't get a lot of chances to chip in from the third pairing, but he's been in the lineup steadily since late October. Emberson has eight assists, 38 shots on net, 70 hits, 62 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 46 games.

Mattias Ekholm D | EDM
Oilers' Mattias Ekholm: Provides helper in win
Ekholm notched an assist, four shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Canucks.
Ekholm set up an Adam Henrique tally in the first period, which ended up being the game-winner. This was Ekholm's second helper over 11 contests in January, which has been a fairly quiet month for the defenseman, though not as bad as his November (one assist in 13 games). Overall, Ekholm's at 19 points, 108 shots on net, 67 blocked shots, 32 hits and a plus-17 rating through 48 appearances.

Evan Bouchard D | EDM
Oilers' Evan Bouchard: Adds power-play helper
Bouchard notched a power-play assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Canucks.
Bouchard helped out on a Ryan Nugent-Hopkins tally in the second period. The 25-year-old Bouchard was held off the scoresheet in the previous two contests, but he racked up 10 points over 10 games before that, so he's been locked in lately. For the season, the defenseman is at eight goals, 28 helpers, 12 power-play points, 133 shots on net, 72 blocked shots and a plus-15 rating over 48 outings.

Braden Schneider D | NYR
Rangers' Braden Schneider: First goal since October
Schneider scored a goal Thursday in a 6-1 win over the Flyers.
It was a bit of a fluke, but a goal is a goal. Schneider tied the game 1-1 at 9:00 of the first period when his attempted pass to Reilly Smith hit Egor Zamula's stick and went in. He snapped a 43-game goal slump. Schneider has a point in each of his last two games, but his fantasy value is limited. He has just 13 points (three goals, 10 assists) and 65 shots in 48 games, but he does offer hits (79) and blocks (84).

Adam Fox D | NYR
Rangers' Adam Fox: Three-game multi-point streak
Fox had a goal and an assist in a 6-1 win over Philadelphia on Thursday.
His goal was a short-handed empty-net tally at 16:53 of the third. Fox is riding a three-game, multi-point streak (one goal, five assists), and he sits sixth in scoring from the blue line with 40 points, including 37 assists, in 48 games this season. Fox has been a big part of the Rangers' recent resurgence -- they've now picked up at least a point in 10 games.

K'Andre Miller D | CAR
Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Three-game, four-point streak
Miller had a goal and an assist Thursday in a 6-1 win over the Flyers.
Miller, who is more of a shutdown guy, is on a surprising three-game, four-point scoring streak (one goal, three assists). He's on pace for triple digits in both hits and blocks, so adding a bit of offense certainly gives him a short-term boost. Miller has three goals and eight assists in 42 games.

Moritz Seider D | DET
Red Wings' Moritz Seider: Slides two assists in win
Seider had two assists, including one on the power play, in Thursday's 4-2 win over Montreal. He also had two shots, two blocks, three hits and two PIM.
The 23-year-old had secondary helpers on goals by Alex DeBrincat and Dylan Larkin (on the power play), marking Seider's eighth multi-point effort of the season. The two helpers raised his season total to 26, which ranks fourth on the Red Wings.
