  • Jets' Logan Stanley: Pockets helper in loss

Stanley notched an assist, two shots on goal, two hits and two blocked shots in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Flames.

Stanley picked up his first point since he closed December with a helper in three straight games. The 26-year-old defenseman has held a steady third-pairing role recently. He'll get a little pressure from Ville Heinola for that spot, and the competition will increase once Haydn Fleury (lower body) returns from injured reserve. Stanley plays more of a physical game, earning eight points, 40 hits, 50 blocked shots, 61 PIM and a plus-6 rating across 33 appearances this season.

  • Josh Brown D | EDM

Oilers' Josh Brown: Sent to AHL

Brown was loaned to AHL Bakersfield on Sunday.

Brown has one assist, five shots on goal, 11 blocked shots, 13 hits and nine PIM in eight NHL appearances this season. He has played in five of the last seven games. If Edmonton leaves Brown in the minors ahead of Tuesday's game versus Washington, Jeff Skinner or Kasperi Kapanen could return to the lineup.

  • Capitals' Jakob Chychrun: Opens scoring in win

Chychrun scored a goal on five shots, added two hits and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Penguins.

Chychrun has picked up two goals and four assists over nine outings in January. The 26-year-old defenseman opened the scoring in Saturday's contest. For the season, he's up to 13 goals, 31 points, 98 shots on net, 30 hits, 52 blocked shots, 30 PIM and a plus-19 rating. Among NHL blueliners, only Zach Werenski and Cale Makar have more goals -- both have scored 15 times in 2024-25.

  • Lightning's Emil Lilleberg: Adds assist in win

Lilleberg notched an assist, three hits and three blocked shots in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Red Wings.

Lilleberg had a shot bounce off the boards, leading to a Brayden Point goal on the rebound just 2:02 into the first period. This was Lilleberg's second assist over the last four contests. Two of his three highest ice-time totals have been in the last two games, likely in part due to Erik Cernak (undisclosed) missing most of Thursday's game against the Ducks before sitting out Saturday's contest altogether. Lilleberg is at 10 helpers, 24 shots on net, 74 hits, 72 PIM, 34 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 41 outings this season.

  • Jan Rutta D | SJ

Sharks' Jan Rutta: Banks helpers in loss

Rutta posted an even-strength assist in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Islanders.

Rutta nabbed the primary assist on San Jose's lone goal in the loss, scored by Barclay Goodrow. Rutta has gotten on the scoresheet in two of his last three games, and through eight appearances in January, he's logged one goal, two assists and a minus-2 rating. The 6-foot-3 blueliner provides value in the form of blocked shots, but he shouldn't warrant much fantasy consideration outside of deeper formats. Rutta has two goals, eight points and a minus-6 rating through 48 outings on the season.

  • Bruins' Jordan Oesterle: Gets on scoresheet Saturday

Oesterle posted an assist and went plus-3 in Saturday's 6-5 shootout loss to the Senators.

Oesterle played for just the third time in eight January games and ended his 11-game point drought. The 32-year-old defenseman appears to have a clearer path to playing time while both Charlie McAvoy (undisclosed) and Hampus Lindholm (lower body) are out. Oesterle is at four assists, 17 shots on net, 16 hits and 30 blocked shots through 18 NHL outings this season, so he's unlikely to be of interest in most fantasy formats.

  • Kraken's Gustav Olofsson: Back to AHL

Olofsson was reassigned to AHL Coachella Valley on Sunday.

Olofsson was brought up to Seattle in early January but served as a healthy scratch in the Kraken's last 12 games. The 30-year-old blueliner has appeared in just four games in two seasons with the Kraken. Olofsson's last NHL point came in 2017 with the Wid.

  • Lightning's Max Crozier: Reassigned to AHL

Crozier was reassigned to AHL Syracuse on Sunday.

Crozier logged 14:25 of ice time in Saturday's 5-1 win over Detroit, recording four hits and three blocked shots. The 24-year-old blueliner will now return to AHL Syracuse, though he could be back with the Lightning ahead of Monday's game in Toronto if Erik Cernak (undisclosed) can't suit up.

  • Bruins' Charlie McAvoy: Remains unavailable

McAvoy (upper body) doesn't have a timeline for his return to the lineup, Andrew Fantucchio of Boston Hockey Now reports Sunday.

McAvoy has already missed the last two games and won't play Monday versus San Jose. Boston is still waiting to see how he progresses before determining when he will play again. McAvoy has registered five goals, 20 points, 86 shots on net, 77 blocked shots and 86 hits across 45 appearances this season. Nikita Zadorov and Brandon Carlo have logged time on Boston's top pairing during McAvoy's absence.

  • Senators' Thomas Chabot: Earns helper in return

Chabot notched an assist, two shots on goal, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 6-5 shootout win over the Bruins.

Chabot missed Thursday's game against the Capitals due to a facial injury sustained Tuesday versus the Islanders. It was a short-term absence, as he suited up and played 27:45 in Saturday's contest, his second-highest ice-time total this season. The defenseman has produced 20 points, 97 shots on net, 35 hits, 69 blocked shots and a plus-12 rating over 44 appearances in a top-four role. Thursday's absence was his first of the season, a positive sign for the 27-year-old, who has never exceeded 71 games played in a campaign.
