  • Devils' Dougie Hamilton: Deals helper in overtime win

Hamilton produced an assist, two shots on goal, three hits and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Lightning.

Hamilton is still listed as a top-four defenseman, but he has been under 20 minutes of ice time in 12 of the Devils' last 14 games. On most teams, that would be worrisome, but he has seven assists and a plus-5 rating in that span, and New Jersey's blue line is fairly deep even if it's not overflowing with high-scoring blueliners. Hamilton now has 28 points, 134 shots on net, 56 blocked shots, 49 hits and a plus-4 rating through 45 appearances. While the drop in ice time is discouraging, fantasy managers need not worry as long as he remains on the top power-play unit and continues to contribute fairly well across the board.

  • Kings' Jacob Moverare: Cashes in on turnover

Moverare scored a goal and blocked three shots in Saturday's 2-1 loss to Calgary.

Calgary got a little scrambled after a couple of failed clearing attempts. The second of those mistakes ended up on Moverare's stick, and he made no mistake on his lone shot of the game, putting the Kings ahead, 1-0, at 6:19 of the first period. The defenseman has four points over his last five contests, giving him five points, 17 shots on net, 21 hits, 28 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating through 22 outings this season. He's in no immediate danger of losing his place in the lineup, but his recent scoring success is unlikely to last.

  • Flames' Daniil Miromanov: Out of favor on blue line

Miromanov was scratched for the 10th time in 11 games when he sat out Saturday's 2-1 win over the Kings.

Miromanov's loss of playing time has helped Jake Bean and Joel Hanley stay in the lineup lately. The 27-year-old Miromanov has six points, 35 shots on net, 42 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 29 outings this season. There's no telling when he might get another chance to play, especially since the Calgary blue line has mostly stayed healthy in 2024-25.

  • Lightning's Victor Hedman: Starting to warm up again

Hedman scored a goal Saturday in a 3-2 overtime loss to New Jersey.

His shot deflected off a Devils' player and past Jacob Markstrom. Hedman has a point in his last two games after putting up just four points (one goal, three assists) in his previous 11 contests. Overall, he has six goals, 25 assists, 63 blocks and 91 shots in 38 games this season.

  • Jake Walman D | EDM

Sharks' Jake Walman: Earns assist in return

Walman posted an assist and five shots on goal over 22:19 of ice time in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Wild.

Walman missed eight games due to a lower-body injury, but he was able to pick up where he left off prior to the absence. The 28-year-old logged six points over nine outings in December, and he has been the Sharks' best offensive blueliner this season. Overall, he's at 26 points, 85 shots on net, 48 blocked shots, 31 hits, 22 PIM and a plus-3 rating over 32 appearances.

  • Tyler Myers D | DAL

Canucks' Tyler Myers: Four points in last six games

Myers picked up two assists Saturday in a 3-0 win over Toronto.

Myers has four points (one goal, three assists) in his last six games. He's not a prototypical point-getting defender -- he has only 12 in 42 games -- but he also has 75 blocks and 40 hits on the season, which puts Myers on pace to block close to 150 shots. Use him in a deep league if you need that help.

  • Wild's Declan Chisholm: Garners helper in win

Chisholm logged an assist in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Sharks.

Chisholm poked a puck loose, and Mats Zuccarello picked up the loose change before firing it long-distance into the net while Yaroslav Askarov was on his way to the bench for an extra attacker. The helper snapped a four-game slump for Chisholm. He's been asked to fill a larger role, including a spot on the power play, while the Wild are without their three best blueliners in Brock Faber (upper body), Jared Spurgeon (lower body) and Jonas Brodin (lower body). For the season, Chisholm has 11 points, 43 shots on net, 34 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 37 appearances. He's often been in a bottom-four role, but he's worth streaming in deeper formats due to his improved spot in the lineup for the time being.

  • Quinn Hughes D | MIN

Canucks' Quinn Hughes: Keeps piling up points

Hughes scored a goal and added an assist in a 3-0 win over the Maple Leafs on Saturday.

His goal was a gimme. Leafs defender Simon Benoit inadvertently swatted the puck out of the air and into the net, and Hughes was the last Canuck to touch the puck. The 25-year-old Hughes has nine goals and 47 points in 38 games this season. The next closest Canuck has 30 points. Among all defenders, Hughes is the leader in assists and ranks third in points. He is making an intriguing case for himself for the Norris Trophy and possibly the Hart Trophy.

  • Kraken's Jamie Oleksiak: Adds helper on empty-netter

Oleksiak logged an assist and five blocked shots in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Sabres.

Oleksiak has contributed three assists, 43 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating over 18 appearances since the start of December. The 32-year-old defenseman is rarely a big source of offense, but he can handle a shutdown role while seeing top-four minutes for the Kraken. This season, Oleksiak has eight points, 34 shots on net, 96 blocks, 32 hits and a minus-7 rating while most frequently playing on a pairing with the more goal-dangerous Brandon Montour.

  • Ryker Evans D | SEA

Kraken's Ryker Evans: Sparks comeback Saturday

Evans scored a goal on two shots and went plus-3 in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Sabres.

Evans' goal got the Kraken on the board at 12:48 of the second period, cutting the Sabres' lead to 2-1. It was just the beginning for Seattle, as they rallied for six straight tallies to run away with the win. The goal was Evans' first point over five outings in January and his third point of the last 16 contests. He's at five goals, 19 points, 43 shots on net, 61 hits, 60 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating through 41 appearances. The 23-year-old should be a regular in the lineup, but he's stuck on the third pairing. Vince Dunn and Brandon Montour also block Evans for a spot on the power play.
