  • Niko Mikkola D | FLA

Panthers' Niko Mikkola: Unavailable for Saturday

Mikkola (upper body) will miss Saturday's game against Montreal, per Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site.

Mikkola has four goals and 14 points in 36 appearances in 2024-25. Adam Boqvist is expected to draw into the lineup due to Mikkola's injury.

  • Haydn Fleury D | WPG

    Jets' Haydn Fleury: Is week-to-week

Fleury (lower body) is week-to-week, head coach Scott Arniel told Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press on Friday.

Fleury sustained the injury during Monday's 5-2 win over Toronto. He attempted to participate in Friday's morning skate but wasn't able to. He has six assists, 31 hits and 44 blocked shots in 25 outings in 2024-25. Dylan Coghlan might draw into the lineup for Saturday's game against Ottawa due to Fleury's absence.

  • Penguins' Nate Clurman: Ascends to top level

Clurman was recalled from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Friday, Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports reports.

The Penguins had only six healthy blueliners on their roster before recalling Clurman. He was a healthy scratch in a pair of games this month and was returned to the AHL in what was a paper move Tuesday. Clurman had a goal and five points in 18 AHL games before his recall.

  • Josh Manson D | COL

Avalanche's Josh Manson: Ready to return

Manson (upper body) will be activated off injured reserve and draw into the lineup Friday, according to Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette.

Manson has a goal, six points, 51 hits and 34 blocked shots in 24 outings in 2024-25. He missed 12 consecutive games due to the injury. Manson skated alongside Samuel Girard during the morning skate, so Girard will probably be his defensive partner for the upcoming game. John Ludvig, who might have played if Manson wasn't ready to return, will likely be a healthy scratch.

  • Canucks' Guillaume Brisebois: Back in NHL

Brisebois was recalled from AHL Abbotsford on Friday.

Brisebois has spent the entire season at the AHL level, scoring once in 23 games. The Canucks are carrying seven healthy defensemen at this time, so Brisebois' time in the NHL could be short.

  • Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Off injured reserve

Miller (upper body) was activated off injured reserve Friday, per Mollie Walker of the New York Post, which sets the stage for him to return Saturday versus Tampa Bay.

Miller has missed six straight games due to the injury. He has two goals, six points, 55 hits and 40 blocks in 28 outings in 2024-25. Miller will likely serve in a top-four capacity Saturday. Chad Ruhwedel was reassigned to AHL Hartford because Miller is available.

  • Rangers' Chad Ruhwedel: Heads to minors

Ruhwedel was sent to AHL Hartford on Friday.

Ruhwedel has an assist in five appearances with the Rangers in 2024-25. K'Andre Miller (upper body) was activated off injured reserve in a corresponding move.

  • Jake Walman D | EDM

Sharks' Jake Walman: Not at practice Friday

Walman (lower body) is not at morning skate and is expected to sit out Friday's tilt versus Vegas, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.

Walman will miss his second straight game. The defenseman has already set a career high of 25 points in just 31 games this season. Consider him day-to-day at this time.

  • Josh Manson D | COL

Avalanche's Josh Manson: Could play Friday

Manson (upper body) practiced in a regular jersey and could be in the lineup Friday versus Utah, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports.

It was reported earlier that Manson would not play Friday, but it looks like a real possibility at this time. Manson would have to be activated from injured reserve and would likely replace either Calvin de Haan or John Ludvig on the blue line. Manson has a goal and five assists with 51 hits in 24 games this season.

  • Kraken's Gustav Olofsson: Back in NHL

Olofsson was recalled from AHL Coachella Valley on Friday.

The Kraken have seven defensemen on the roster after recalling Olofsson, who might be a healthy scratch Saturday in Vancouver. Olofsson hasn't played in the NHL this campaign. He has two goals and 11 points across 27 appearances with Coachella Valley in 2024-25.
