    Annunen has won three of his last five outings, allowing 10 goals on 143 shots (.930 save percentage) in that span. He'll draw a tough assignment as the Golden Knights have won four of their last six games with 17 goals scored over that stretch.

    Fedotov will get the second half of Philadelphia's back-to-back after Samuel Ersson played in Monday's 4-3 win over Florida. The 28-year-old Fedotov has a 4-5-2 record with a 3.40 GAA and an .874 save percentage through 12 NHL appearances this season. Columbus sits fifth in the league with 3.40 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Canadiens' Sam Montembeault: Facing Utah

    Montembeault is set to start in Tuesday's road game versus Utah, per Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.

    Montembeault was on the losing end of a goaltender's duel against Jake Oettinger in Saturday's 2-1 shootout loss to Dallas. The 28-year-old Montembeault has a 1-1-1 record while allowing nine goals on 81 shots through three starts in January. The Quebec native was defeated by Utah 3-2 in overtime Nov. 26. Utah ranks 25th in the NHL with 2.79 goals per game.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Between pipes in Denver

    Shesterkin will tend the road twine against the Avalanche on Tuesday, per Peter Baugh of The Athletic.

    After losing three straight games and five of six to close out December, Shesterkin has gotten on the right track in January with back-to-back wins over the Devils and Golden Knights. The Russian netminder is sporting a 13-15-1 record, .908 save percentage and 2.98 GAA through 29 appearances this season. Colorado has put up 3.32 goals per game in 2024-25, which ranks seventh in the NHL.

  • Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Guarding goal Tuesday

    Blackwood will patrol the home crease versus the Rangers on Tuesday, per Aarif Deen of Colorado Hockey Now.

    During his last outing, Blackwood stopped 26 of 28 shots faced in Saturday's loss to Winnipeg. He has posted a record of 8-2-1 with a 1.66 GAA and a .939 save percentage in 11 games with the Avalanche this season. The Rangers are tied for 20th in the league with 2.90 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Canucks' Kevin Lankinen: Guarding goal in Winnipeg

    Lankinen will be between the road pipes in Tuesday's road matchup versus the Jets, according to Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press.

    Lankinen earned his fourth shutout of the campaign Saturday in a 3-0 victory over Toronto. The 29-year-old has recorded one shutout in each of the first four months of the season. He's surrendered 10 goals on 94 shots through five appearances in January, going 2-1-2 during that stretch. Winnipeg ranks third in the NHL with 3.55 goals per game.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Tending twine Tuesday

    Hellebuyck will be in the home net Tuesday against Vancouver, Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press relays.

    Hellebuyck stopped all 22 shots that he faced in a 3-0 win over the Avalanche on Saturday, his sixth shutout of the campaign. The Canucks sit 19th in the NHL with 2.93 goals per game. The two-time Vezina Trophy winner has been stellar throughout his career against Vancouver, owning a 14-5-0 record, 1.90 GAA and .936 save percentage over 19 outings.
