Joel Hofer G | STL
Blues' Joel Hofer: Sharp in win
Hofer allowed two goals on 36 shots in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Kraken.
Hofer gave up the first and last goals of the game, but the Blues buried three tallies in between to give him enough support. The 25-year-old netminder started consecutive contests for the first time since Jan. 13-16, and he's now won three games in a row for the first time all season. Hofer is up to 15-11-3 with a 2.78 GAA and a .901 save percentage in 33 appearances. He may see a slight edge over Jordan Binnington for starts, but both goalies should see action since the Blues are far off the pace for a playoff spot. The Blues' road trip continues Friday in San Jose.

David Rittich G | NYI
Islanders' David Rittich: Mediocre in loss to Ducks
Rittich allowed four goals on 25 shots in Wednesday's 5-1 loss to the Ducks. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.
Rittich has given up at least four goals in four of his last six outings, going 2-4-0 in that span. The 33-year-old gave up three goals in a span of 5:44 during the first period, which was enough to sink him this time. Rittich is now 13-9-3 with a 2.69 GAA and an .897 save percentage over 25 appearances. Ilya Sorokin will start Thursday's road matchup against the Kings, and he will likely see most of the playing time moving forward, leaving Rittich to fill the backup role.

Ville Husso G | ANA
Ducks' Ville Husso: Excellent in win
Husso stopped 42 of 43 shots in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Islanders.
Husso was able to pick up his first win since Jan. 17, though this was just his second start in the Ducks' last 13 games since Lukas Dostal continues to handle a heavy workload. The 31-year-old Husso has done a fair job when tasked with the crease, going 7-5-1 with a 3.08 GAA and an .894 save percentage over 13 appearances. The Finnish netminder isn't likely to get a lot of playing time for the remainder of the campaign, but he can be a decent matchup-based streaming option. Look for Lukas Dostal to be back between the pipes Friday versus the Canadiens.

Brandon Halverson G | TB
Lightning's Brandon Halverson: Picks up sixth shutout
Halverson posted a 16-save shutout in AHL Syracuse's 2-0 win over Laval on Wednesday.
Halverson has a personal-best six shutouts this season in the AHL, collecting them in just 30 games. He's 20-6-3 on the year, the second season in a row he has hit the 20-win mark. He has added a 2.17 GAA and a .912 save percentage. The Lightning have only utilized Halverson as an emergency option. However, his success at the AHL level could help him become an option for Tampa Bay's backup role at some point, given Jonas Johansson's struggles.

Philipp Grubauer G | SEA
Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Set to start versus Blues
Grubauer will guard the home goal versus the Blues on Wednesday, per Sound of Hockey.
Grubauer's last game was a loss to the Blues on Thursday, in which he stopped 27 of 31 shots in a 5-1 defeat. He has allowed at least three goals in five of his last seven outings. Grubauer will make his second start since the Olympics, and it comes after Joey Daccord's impressive performance in a 2-1 win over the Hurricanes on Monday, which makes the Kraken's goaltending choices all the more puzzling.

Ville Husso G | ANA
Ducks' Ville Husso: Starting Wednesday
Husso will protect the home goal versus the Islanders on Wednesday, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.
Husso will play for the first time since Jan. 26. The 31-year-old netminder is the Ducks' No. 2 now after Petr Mrazek (hip) underwent season-ending surgery during the Olympic break. Husso is 6-5-1 with a 3.26 GAA and an .882 save percentage in 12 NHL games this season, so he'll be an option in fantasy only when he draws a good matchup.

Adin Hill G | LV
Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Set to start Wednesday
Hill led the Golden Knights onto the ice, indicating he'll be between the pipes on the road versus the Red Wings on Wednesday.
Akira Schmid played Tuesday in a loss to the Sabres, and Hill will take the second half of the back-to-back. The 29-year-old Hill is just 4-4-1 with a 3.77 GAA and an .846 save percentage over his last nine outings. The Red Wings have gone 2-1-0 over three games since the Olympic break, scoring eight goals in that span.
-
Jacob Markstrom G | NJ
Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Starting again Wednesday
Markstrom will protect the home goal versus the Maple Leafs on Wednesday, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.
Markstrom was in goal for the Devils' 5-1 win over the Panthers on Tuesday. That light workload will allow him to go again a day later. The Maple Leafs are sitting out three regulars for trade protection, so he'll draw a struggling team with a diminished lineup in this matchup, which could help Markstrom in his pursuit of a three-game winning streak for the first time all season.

Brandon Bussi G | CAR
Hurricanes' Brandon Bussi: Set to face Vancouver
Bussi is expected to start on the road against Vancouver on Wednesday, per Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site.
Bussi has a 24-3-1 record, 2.33 GAA and .904 save percentage in 28 appearances in 2025-26. He's won his past eight outings while posting a 2.00 GAA and a .911 save percentage. Vancouver is an extremely favorable adversary. The Canucks are 2-16-4 while averaging just 2.00 goals per game across their past 22 outings.

Joel Hofer G | STL
Blues' Joel Hofer: Starting Wednesday's game
Hofer will start Wednesday's road game against Seattle.
Hofer has picked up wins in each of his two starts following the Olympic break, and he'll draw the start for the third time in the Blues' four games since the layoff. He's made a pair of home starts against the Kraken this year, going 1-0-1 with a 2.46 GAA and .907 save percentage.
