  • Jiri Patera G | VAN

Canucks' Jiri Patera: Earns shutout in AHL win

Patera posted a 25-save shutout in AHL Abbotsford's 2-0 win over Ontario on Saturday.

Patera improved to 12-14-2 with a 2.63 GAA and a .910 save percentage over 30 outings this season. This was his third career AHL shutout. Patera also made one NHL appearance in 2025-26, allowing seven goals on 40 shots in a loss to the Panthers on Nov. 17.

  • Penguins' Sergei Murashov: Logs AHL shutout

Murashov posted a 27-save shutout in AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 8-0 win over Rochester on Saturday.

Murashov has four shutouts this season. He's up to 24-9-4 with a 2.20 GAA and a .919 save percentage over 38 appearances this season. Murashov has impressed and likely isn't too far from competing for an NHL job on a full-time basis.

  • Bruins' Simon Zajicek: Up from minors

Zajicek was recalled from AHL Providence on Saturday, per Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal.

Zajicek has a 2.44 GAA and a .915 save percentage in 21 regular-season outings with Providence in 2025-26. The 24-year-old netminder hasn't made his NHL debut. Zajicek gives the Bruins a third-string goaltender going into the playoffs in case Jeremy Swayman or Joonas Korpisalo is forced to miss time due to injury.

  • Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Sixth career playoff shutout

Andersen made 22 saves Saturday in a 2-0 win over Ottawa in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference First Round.

It was Andersen's sixth career shutout in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Great Dane has a strong postseason pedigree with a 47-35-0 record, 2.37 GAA and .914 save percentage in 86 starts since 2013-14 (his first season in the NHL). Andersen had yet another injury-riddled regular season in 2025-26, but it appears he's going to get a shot to carry the Canes this postseason. Brandon Bussi, who had an outstanding first regular season in the NHL but has just eight pro playoff starts (all AHL) in his career, is at the ready on the bench.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Strong performance in Game 1 loss

Ullmark made 27 saves in Saturday's 2-0 loss against the Hurricanes in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference First Round.

The first goal came on a relatively slow-moving shot that appeared to have been redirected in front of the net, allowing the puck to slip under Ullmark's left pad. The second goal came after the netminder froze on a save. The puck rolled off his shoulder and went in the net after it dropped behind Ullmark, and Taylor Hall poked it over the line. Ullmark is off to a strong start this postseason, but he will need his teammates to find twine.

  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: Facing Wild in Game 1

Oettinger will protect the home net in Game 1 against Minnesota on Saturday, Sam Nestler of DLLS Sports reports.

Oettinger posted a 35-12-6 record with four shutouts, a 2.59 GAA and an .899 save percentage across 54 games during the 2025-26 regular season. He has faced the Wild four times this campaign, going 2-1-1 while allowing 11 goals on 130 shots.

  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Game 1 starter

Dostal will defend the road net against Edmonton on Monday in Game 1, Eric Stephens of The Athletic reports.

Dostal posted a 30-20-4 record with a 3.10 GAA and an .888 save percentage in 56 appearances during the 2025-26 regular season. In two outings against the Oilers over that time, he allowed eight goals on 60 shots en route to a 1-1-0 record.

  • Ben Kraws G | DAL

Stars' Ben Kraws: Recalled from AHL

Kraws was recalled on an emergency basis from AHL Texas on Saturday.

Kraws spent most of the 2025-26 season at ECHL Idaho, posting a 16-12-2 record with a 3.03 GAA and a .908 save percentage over 31 appearances. Kraws saw action in four AHL games with Texas, going 0-3-0 with a 4.34 GAA and an .840 save percentage. The 25-year-old will likely be a practice goaltender, giving Jake Oettinger or Casey DeSmith some time off the day after a playoff game.

  • Kings' Pheonix Copley: Summoned from AHL

Copley was recalled from AHL Ontario on Saturday.

Copley will probably serve as a depth option for the Kings in the playoffs behind Darcy Kuemper and Anton Forsberg. The 34-year-old Copley has earned a 21-11-1 record with a 2.59 GAA and a .901 save percentage in 33 AHL appearances this season.

  • Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Tending twine in Game 1

Andersen will protect the home goal versus Ottawa in Game 1 on Saturday, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports.

The Hurricanes are going with Andersen's veteran presence in goal, rather than rookie Brandon Bussi, who saw the majority of the action during the regular season. Andersen was 16-14-5 with a 3.05 GAA and a poor .874 save percentage over 35 appearances in 2025-26. Andersen gave up five goals on 30 shots in his lone appearance versus the Senators, a 6-3 loss April 5.
