Vejmelka will defend the home crease against the Jets on Sunday, Catherine Bogart of the Mammoth's official site reports.
Vejmelka is 5-3-0 with a .910 save percentage and a 2.58 GAA through nine appearances in December. He will face a Winnipeg squad that sits 20th in the league with 2.91 goals per game this year. The Jets have struggled heavily lately, losing three consecutive games and six of their last seven.

Predators' Justus Annunen: Drawing start Sunday
Annunen will be between the home pipes against the Rangers on Sunday, according to Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site.
Annunen hasn't gotten in the win column since Nov. 26 in Detroit, as he's 0-2-0 with a 3.30 GAA and an .897 save percentage over his last three appearances. The Rangers will be without J.T. Miller (upper body) on Sunday, and Gabe Perreault and Matt Rempe are late scratches due to illness. New York has won back-to-back contests following a two-game losing streak.

Ullmark will tend the road twine Sunday versus the Bruins, per Scott McLaughlin of WEEI.
Ullmark is riding a three-game winning streak, posting a spectacular 1.65 GAA and .935 save percentage across that stretch. The veteran netminder is coming off a 25-save shutout over Pittsburgh on Thursday. Boston ranks seventh in the NHL with 3.22 goals per game in 2025-26.

Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Picks up loss in Detroit
Lindgren conceded three goals on 27 shots Sunday in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Red Wings.
The Capitals forced overtime after trailing during the third period Sunday, but Moritz Seider ultimately blasted home a pass from Andrew Copp past Lindgren with just 24 seconds remaining in the extra frame. Lindgren has lost his last two starts, a small stretch in which he's given up eight goals on 59 shots. Overall, the 32-year-old has a 5-4-2 record, .888 save percentage and 3.07 GAA across 12 appearances as the backup to Logan Thompson this year. Thompson will more than likely be back between the pipes Tuesday against the Rangers.

Red Wings' Cam Talbot: Strong performance against Caps
Talbot turned aside 31 of 33 shots in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over Washington.
Ethen Frank was able to solve Talbot twice Sunday, but no other Capitals skater got a puck past the Detroit netminder. Talbot is now 10-6-2 with an .887 save percentage and a 3.00 GAA through 19 appearances this season. The 38-year-old and John Gibson have alternated starts recently, and if that trend continues, Gibson will likely be in goal for the last game before the three-day holiday break against the Stars on Tuesday.

Bruins' Joonas Korpisalo: Sunday starter against Senators
Korpisalo will start Sunday's game against the Senators, Joe McDonald of NHL.com reports.
Korpisalo hasn't started since Dec. 10, but he will start Sunday's game with the Bruins on the second of a back-to-back. The 31-year-old is 6-6-0 on the season with a 3.35 GAA and an .888 save percentage. The Senators come in having won three straight games, scoring 13 combined goals in those contests.

Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Starting against Minnesota
Blackwood will start Sunday's road game against Minnesota, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports.
Blackwood and Scott Wedgewood have alternated starts over the past two weeks, and that trend will continue during Sunday's matchup. Blackwood is in the midst of a four-game personal winning streak in which he's posted a 2.22 GAA and .922 save percentage.

Silovs will patrol the home crease against Montreal on Sunday, Michelle Crechiolo of the Penguins' official site reports.
Silovs will get the second half of Pittsburgh's back-to-back after Stuart Skinner played in Saturday's 4-0 loss to the Canadiens. The 24-year-old Silovs has a 4-5-6 record with one shutout, a 3.26 GAA and an .887 save percentage through 15 appearances this season. Montreal sits eighth in the league with 3.20 goals per game this year.

Red Wings' Cam Talbot: Starting rematch with Caps
Talbot will start Sunday's home game against the Capitals, Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post reports.
After Logan Thompson and John Gibson started Saturday's game, both teams will be switching goaltenders for the second game of the back-to-back, home-and-home set between Detroit and Washington. The 38-year-old Talbot has lost six straight starts, allowing three goals or more in all but one of those contests. Despite the dry spell, he still carries a 9-6-2 record into the game but with a 3.07 GAA and an .883 save percentage.
