    Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Gets starting nod Friday

    Woll will be between the visiting pipes versus Washington on Friday, Joshua Kloke of The Athletic reports.

    Woll has started all five games since returning from injured reserve in Chicago on Nov. 15. The goaltender left the team during training camp due to personal reasons, returning just two weeks ago. He is 2-2-1 with a 2.74 GAA and a .914 save percentage in five appearances this season. The Capitals are generating 3.33 goals per game, sixth in the NHL.

  • Blues' Jordan Binnington: Expected to start Friday

    Binnington is set to start at home against Ottawa on Friday, per Lou Korac of NHL.com.

    Binnington hasn't lost in regulation recently, going 2-0-3 with a 2.70 GAA and a .912 save percentage across his last five outings. He's been a mixed bag overall in 2025-26 with a 5-5-5 record, 3.11 GAA and .881 save percentage in 16 appearances. Ottawa is in a three-way tie for 10th in goals per game with 3.13, and the Senators are getting Brady Tkachuk (thumb) back Friday, so this figures to be a challenging assignment for Binnington.

  • Islanders' David Rittich: Starting Friday

    Rittich will patrol the home crease versus Philadelphia on Friday, per Andrew Gross of Newsday.

    Rittich is riding a three-game winning streak, allowing only four goals on 72 shots in victories over Utah, Dallas and Seattle. Overall, the 33-year-old netminder is 6-2-0 with a 2.59 GAA and a .905 save percentage in eight appearances this season. The Flyers are 26th in NHL scoring this season, generating 2.73 goals per game.

  • Senators' Leevi Merilainen: Set to face St. Louis

    Merilainen is expected to start on the road against St. Louis on Friday, per Jackson Starr of the Senators' official site.

    Merilainen has a 3-2-0 record, 3.24 GAA and .875 save percentage in five appearances this year. He stopped 20 of 22 shots in his last start Monday, but a lack of offensive support resulted in that being a 2-1 loss to the Kings. The Blues rank 28th in goals per game with 2.63.

  • Flyers' Samuel Ersson: In goal Friday

    Ersson will start Friday's road matchup against the Islanders.

    Ersson stopped 15 of 17 shots in Monday's 3-0 loss to Tampa Bay, with the third goal being an empty-netter. He has posted a 3-2-2 record this season while allowing 23 goals on 153 shots. The Islanders sit 21st in the league with 2.96 goals per game this campaign.

  • Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Gets starting nod Friday

    Tarasov will patrol the home crease versus Calgary on Friday, per Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site.

    Tarasov has been surprisingly good for the Panthers in limited action this season, posting a 2-3-1 record with a 2.45 GAA and a .913 save percentage in seven contests. The 26-year-old is tied for ninth in save percentage in the NHL among goalies who have made at least seven appearances. The Flames are averaging a measly 2.32 goals per game, the worst mark in the NHL this season.

  • Sharks' Yaroslav Askarov: Between pipes Friday

    Askarov will defend the home net versus Vancouver on Friday, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.

    Askarov has been outstanding in November, though he did have a difficult start Wednesday against the mighty Avalanche, giving up four goals on 19 shots before he was pulled with just over 15 minutes to go in the second period. Askarov is 7-2-0 with a 1.87 GAA and a .944 save percentage in nine November starts. The Canucks are tied for 16th in goal production this season, generating 3.08 goals per game.

  • Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Facing Blue Jackets

    Jarry was the first goaltender off the ice at morning practice and is slated to defend the road goal in Columbus on Friday, Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff reports.

    Jarry returned to action Wednesday after missing seven games with a lower-body injury, and turned aside 29 shots in a 4-2 win over Buffalo. Jarry is 6-2-0 with one shutout, a 2.53 GAA and a .914 save percentage across eight starts this season. The Blue Jackets dropped a 2-1 overtime decision to Toronto on Wednesday and are 4-2-4 in their last 10 games.

  • Bruins' Joonas Korpisalo: Tending twine Friday

    Korpisalo will protect the home net against the Rangers on Friday, according to Scott McLaughlin of WEEI.

    Korpisalo has lost his last two outings while surrendering eight goals on 54 shots. He has a 4-5-0 record with 223 saves on 254 shots through nine appearances this season. The Rangers sit 30th in the league this campaign with only 2.56 goals per game.

  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: In goal Friday

    Oettinger will patrol the home blue paint against the Mammoth on Friday, Sam Nestler of DLLS Stars reports.

    Oettinger has won back-to-back games and four of his last five, as he's rebounded after two poor outings to begin November. The 2017 first-round pick owns a 10-4-2 record, 2.74 GAA and .900 save percentage through 16 appearances this season. The Mammoth are 2-2-1 in their last five games, a stretch in which they have netted 14 goals.
