Jiri Patera G | VAN
Canucks' Jiri Patera: Summoned from Abbotsford
Patera was recalled from AHL Abbotsford under emergency conditions Tuesday.
Kevin Lankinen will not travel with the Canucks for their upcoming four-game road trip due to personal reasons, which resulted in Patera being elevated from the minors. The 26-year-old Patera is now the de facto No. 1 netminder, as Thatcher Demko is currently on injured reserve due to a lower-body injury. At this point, Patera seems likely to get the nod for Wednesday's game in Anaheim. The 2017 sixth-round pick allowed seven goals on 40 shots in a loss to Florida on Nov. 17 in his lone appearances with the big club this season.

Pyotr Kochetkov G | CAR
Hurricanes' Pyotr Kochetkov: Ruled out against Rangers
Kochetkov is dealing with an undisclosed injury that will sideline him versus the Rangers on Wednesday, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.
The Canes continue to carry three netminders on the roster, so it's possible that Kochetkov would have been the odd man out regardless. Still, with both Kochetkov and Frederik Andersen dealing with injuries periodically, the team will likely keep Brandon Bussi on the roster. As such, it's hard to trust any of this trio when it comes to fantasy value, given the divided workload.

Stuart Skinner G | PIT
Oilers' Stuart Skinner: Tending twine Tuesday
Skinner will patrol the home crease against Dallas on Tuesday, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.
Skinner is coming off a 35-save performance in Saturday's 6-3 win over Florida. He has posted a record of 8-6-3 with one shutout, a 3.00 GAA and an .885 save percentage through 17 appearances this season. Dallas is tied for seventh in the league with 3.18 goals per game this campaign.

Jonathan Quick G | NYR
Rangers' Jonathan Quick: Lands on IR
Quick (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, according to Peter Baugh of The Athletic.
Quick sat out Monday's 3-2 win over St. Louis, and he will miss at least three more contests after landing on the IR list. He has earned a 3-3-0 record while allowing 10 goals on 177 shots in six appearances this season. Dylan Garand has been serving as Igor Shesterkin's backup during Quick's absence.

Jacob Markstrom G | NJ
Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Bounces back with win
Markstrom saved 32 of 35 shots in Monday's 4-3 win over the Red Wings.
After he conceded five goals in his most recent outing, Markstrom bounced back Monday with a strong win. He made multiple highlight-reel saves down the stretch, including when he stacked the pads and threw his right leg in the air to make a crucial save. With the win, the 35-year-old netminder is up to a 6-3-1 record with a 3.74 GAA and an .871 save percentage through 10 appearances this season. Monday's outing was a step in the right direction for Markstrom, who now has four wins in his last six games. While he's back on track to reach the 20-win mark for the ninth consecutive season, the 2025-26 campaign could be a year of regression if he can't start keeping the puck out of his own net more than three times per game -- he's now allowed at least three goals in eight of his 10 appearances this year. His next chance to guard the crease is Wednesday against St. Louis.

Cam Talbot G | DET
Red Wings' Cam Talbot: Early struggles in loss
Talbot stopped 15 of 19 shots in Monday's 4-3 loss to New Jersey.
Despite playing relatively well down the stretch, Talbot surrendered three goals in the final eight minutes of the first period. With the loss, the 38-year-old netminder has a 9-3-0 record with a 2.78 GAA and an .892 save percentage through 13 appearances this season. Monday's defeat ended his four-game win streak in which he had allowed just seven goals. With the Red Wings currently occupying a playoff spot in the Atlantic Division, Talbot should continue to find the win column barring a full-team collapse. If he can stay healthy, the 13-year NHL veteran goaltender should contend for the 20-win mark for his third straight season, making him a solid fantasy option in most two-goalie formats. After making two consecutive starts, the Red Wings may look to John Gibson on Wednesday before Talbot potentially grabs his next start Friday against Tampa Bay.

Logan Thompson G | WAS
Capitals' Logan Thompson: Sharp in Monday's win
Thompson made 22 saves in Monday's 5-1 win over the Blue Jackets.
The 28-year-old netminder took a shutout into the third period, but Thompson misplayed a rebound early in the frame, and the loose puck eventually found its way to Denton Mateychuk's stick for the visitors' only tally. Thompson has had an erratic November, going 4-3-1 in eight starts with a 2.86 GAA and an .891 save percentage, and he could be at risk of slipping into a timeshare with Charlie Lindgren.

Elvis Merzlikins G | CLB
Blue Jackets' Elvis Merzlikins: Capsized by Caps
Merzlikins turned aside 26 shots in Monday's 5-1 loss to Washington.
It wasn't the sharpest performance from Merzlikins, who gave up three goals on 12 shots in the second period as the Capitals pulled away. The 31-year-old netminder has lost four straight starts in November, stumbling to a rough 4.30 GAA and .863 save percentage on the month, and he appears to be falling further behind Jet Greaves (5-1-3 in November with a 2.80 GAA and a .903 save percentage) in the Columbus crease.

Andrei Vasilevskiy G | TB
Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Blanks Philly for first shutout
Vasilevskiy made 20 saves in Monday's 3-0 win over the Flyers.
In a tight defensive contest -- the final shot totals were 20-18 in favor of Philadelphia -- Vasilevskiy had no trouble handling the few dangerous chances Philadelphia managed to produce en route to his first clean sheet of 2025-26. The veteran netminder is in peak form right now, winning four straight starts while allowing just three goals on 100 shots during that stretch. On the season, Vasilevskiy is 9-5-2 in 16 outings with a 2.36 GAA and a .911 save percentage.

Samuel Ersson G | PHI
Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Stuck on wrong end of shutout
Ersson stopped 15 of 17 shots in Monday's 3-0 loss to the Lightning, with Tampa Bay's final goal getting scored into an empty net.
The 26-year-old netminder had little chance at either puck that got past him, and the Flyers' offense couldn't solve Andrei Vasilevskiy. It was Ersson's first regulation loss since Oct. 16, although he hasn't been getting consistent work as the No. 2 behind Dan Vladar. On the season, Ersson's 3-2-2 in seven starts with a 3.14 GAA and an .850 save percentage.
