  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Tending twine against Boston

Dostal will serve as the starting goaltender for Wednesday's home game against the Bruins, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.

Dostal returned to the win column Monday against Utah, turning aside 16 of 18 shots in a 3-2 victory that ended his two-game losing streak. He'll attempt to remain effective against the Bruins, who are scoring 3.24 goals per game this year, which ranks 10th in the league.

  • Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Expected to start Wednesday

Andersen is set to start on the road against Minnesota on Wednesday, per Jessi Pierce of NHL.com.

Andersen will attempt to get back into the win column after going 0-1-1 while allowing seven goals on 50 shots (.860 save percentage) across his past two appearances. He's 5-4-1 with a. 3.09 GAA and an .886 save percentage in 10 outings this year. He stopped 21 of 24 shots en route to a 4-3 win over the Wild on Nov. 6.

  • John Gibson G | DET

Red Wings' John Gibson: Slated to start Thursday

Gibson will serve as the starting goaltender at home against the Islanders on Thursday, Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Gibson didn't start in either of the last two games, but he'll return to the net Thursday and will attempt to end his recent skid. Across his past five appearances, Gibson has gone 0-3-1 with a 3.46 GAA and an .875 save percentage. The Islanders are scoring 3.20 goals per game this year, tying the team for 11th in the NHL.

  • Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Struggles in loss

Markstrom stopped 22 of 27 shots on net in Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Lightning.

Markstrom struggled in Tuesday's loss, which was highlighted by a hat trick from Lightning forward Jake Guentzel. After the loss, the 35-year-old Markstrom fell to a 5-3-1 record with a 3.83 GAA and an .864 save percentage through nine appearances this year. This stretch of sub-par play from the veteran netminder is out of character for him, as he's maintained a sub-3.00 GAA over the last 10 regular seasons. He should get back on track, but consistency could remain an issue throughout the campaign.

  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Earns fourth win in five games

Vasilevskiy made 31 saves on 32 shots in Tuesday's 5-1 win over New Jersey.

Vasilevskiy was excellent in Tuesday's win, allowing just one goal late in the second period. With the victory, he is up to a 7-5-2 record with a 2.64 GAA and a .903 save percentage through 14 games this season. The 31-year-old goaltender's slow start to the season is in the rear-view mirror, as he has a 7-2-0 record with a 2.19 GAA and a .915 save percentage in his last nine appearances. With his recent dominance, Vasilevskiy is back on track for his ninth consecutive season with 30-plus wins. He remains a top option in all fantasy formats.

  • Canadiens' Sam Montembeault: Set to start Thursday

Montembeault will start Thursday's home game against the Capitals.

Montembeault hasn't been particularly sharp in recent weeks, as he's gone 2-3-1 with a 3.75 GAA and an .858 save percentage over his last seven appearances. However, he'll have a relatively favorable matchup against a Capitals team that is scoring just 2.79 goals per game this year, which is the ninth-worst mark in the league.

  • Oilers' Stuart Skinner: Set to start Wednesday

Skinner is expected to start on the road against Washington on Wednesday, per Oilers play-by-play announcer Jack Michaels.

Skinner will attempt to rebound after allowing four goals on 27 shots in Monday's 5-1 loss to Buffalo. He's 7-5-3 with a 2.86 GAA and an .889 save percentage in 15 appearances in 2025-26. The Capitals rank 24th in goals per game with 2.79.

Lindgren is expected to get the starting nod for Thursday's road clash with Montreal, Sammi Silber of The Hockey News reports.

Lindgren is poised to take the second game of the Caps' back-to-back after Logan Thompson guards the home cage against Edmonton on Wednesday. In his six appearances this year, the 31-year-old Lindgren is 2-3-1 with a 3.17 GAA, one shutout and an .893 save percentage. So far, Lindgren has primarily featured in back-to-backs but could see more starts later in the year to keep Thompson fresher for a potential postseason run.

  • Capitals' Logan Thompson: Set to face Edmonton

Thompson is expected to start at home against Edmonton on Wednesday, per Sammi Silber of The Hockey News.

Thompson has an incredible 1.85 GAA and .925 save percentage, but the Capitals haven't always done a great job of supporting him offensively, which has left him with a mediocre 7-5-1 record. He stopped 29 of 31 shots en route to a 3-2 shootout loss to New Jersey in his last start Saturday. Edmonton is 9-8-4 and in a three-way tie for 18th in goals per game with 3.00.
