The 18-year-old netminder has been superb in OHL play this year with a 1.86 GAA and a .929 save percentage en route to a 6-1-1 record across eight games. Along the way, the 33-year-old netminder posted a 2.53 GAA and a .900 save percentage but is still looking for his first shutout of the year. If Wedgewood continues to perform at this level, he will keep Mackenzie Blackwood firmly cemented to the bench.

  • Hurricanes' Pyotr Kochetkov: Slated to start in NYC

Kochetkov is scheduled to start on the road against the Rangers on Tuesday, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.

The 26-year-old posted a 27-16-3 record with two shutouts, a 2.60 GAA and an .897 save percentage over 47 regular-season appearances last year. After starting the campaign slowly, the Rangers are riding a three-game winning streak following their recent road trip out west, picking up wins against Vancouver, Edmonton and Seattle.

Vladar will defend the road net against the Canadiens on Tuesday, per Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.

Vladar is coming off a poor showing against Toronto on Saturday, allowing four goals on 19 shots before getting the hook. • Wild's Filip Gustavsson: In goal Tuesday

Gustavsson will patrol the home blue paint Tuesday versus the Predators, according to Michael Russo of The Athletic.

Gustavsson snapped a four-game losing streak in a 5-2 win over Vancouver on Saturday, making 26 saves on 28 shots in the process. The Swedish netminder will look to continue putting his early-season struggles in the past, as the Wild have the rest advantage Tuesday -- Nashville lost to Vancouver by a 5-4 score in overtime Monday. The Predators also sit 29th in the NHL with 2.57 goals per game this year.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Patrolling crease against Isles

If the 26-year-old Alaska native can't steady his game, he could find himself watching Joonas Korpisalo from the bench a little more than anticipated.
