  • Lightning's Jonas Johansson: Earns third win

Johansson stopped 25 of the 27 shots that he faced during Sunday's 4-2 win against the Mammoth.

Johansson earned his third win of the year in his fourth start, cooling down a Mammoth team that had won seven of its past eight games. The 30-year-old had surrendered three goals in each of his previous three starts but allowed only two Sunday. The Lightning's backup netminder now has a 3-1-0 record, a 3.04 GAA and a .916 save percentage this year.

  • Flyers' Aleksei Kolosov: Gets little help in loss

Kolosov stopped 19 of 21 shots in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Flames.

Kolosov made his first start of the season, but the Flyers' offense didn't offer him much support. The 23-year-old still played a decent game, and he's now stopped 26 of 28 shots over two appearances this season. He'll be up with the big club while Samuel Ersson (undisclosed) is on the mend, but Dan Vladar is likely to see a majority of the playing time between the pipes. The Flyers are on the road for their next two games, with a tough matchup in Montreal on Tuesday followed by a more favorable contest against Nashville on Thursday.

  • Dustin Wolf G | CGY

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Gets back in win column

Wolf stopped 17 of 18 shots in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Flyers.

Wolf lost his shutout bid with 5:40 left in the third period, but it was still a fine bounce-back performance after he was pulled from Saturday's game versus the Predators. The 24-year-old netminder has won two of his last four games, allowing nine goals on 97 shots in that span, which suggests he's turning a corner after an ugly October. Still, the Flames aren't providing much support, which will make wins tough to come by. Wolf has a 3-8-1 record with a 3.39 GAA and an .884 save percentage across 12 starts. The 24-year-old will likely get the nod again Wednesday at home versus the Blue Jackets.

  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Set to start against New Jersey

Dostal will be between the home pipes Sunday against the Devils, per Derek Lee of The Hockey News.

Dostal has won back-to-back games while allowing two goals in each contest. The 25-year-old turned aside 28 of 30 shots in Friday's 5-2 win over Detroit. The Ducks have the rest advantage Sunday, as the Devils are coming off a 4-1 win over the Kings on Saturday. Dostal is 2-0-0 with a 2.14 GAA and a stellar .949 save percentage over three career appearances against New Jersey.

  • Jake Allen G | NJ

Devils' Jake Allen: Starting against Anaheim

Allen will start Sunday's road game against Anaheim, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.

Allen's five-game winning streak came to an end in San Jose on Thursday when he allowed five goals on 28 shots (.821 save percentage) en route to a 5-2 loss, but he'll start in the second half of a back-to-back set Sunday. The Ducks have been a formidable opponent this year, ranking seventh in the NHL with 3.60 goals per game. Despite Thursday's struggles, Allen has been sharp this season, going 5-1-0 with a 2.39 GAA and .906 save percentage over seven appearances.

  • Sharks' Alex Nedeljkovic: Starting Sunday

Nedeljkovich will get the start Sunday against the Red Wings, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

After beginning the season alternating games with Yaroslav Askarov, Nedeljkovic has sat in four of the last five games. Nedeljkovic will get the start Sunday with the Sharks on the second of a back-to-back. The 29-year-old has won his last two starts, but he will have his hands full with a Red Wings offense that has scored 17 goals in the last four games.

  • Hurricanes' Pyotr Kochetkov: Returned from conditioning loan

Kochetkov has been recalled from his conditioning loan by the Hurricanes from AHL Chicago on Sunday, according to the official AHL transaction log.

Kochetkov has yet to appear in a game this season at the NHL level, as he's been dealing with a lower-body injury since the start of the year. The 26-year-old played well in his lone start with AHL Chicago, making 22 saves on 23 shots on goal in a victory. He will now return to the NHL, presumably as the backup to Frederik Andersen.

  • Flyers' Aleksei Kolosov: Starting after strong finish

Kolosov will get the start in net Sunday against the Flames, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Kolosov made his first appearance of the season in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Maple Leafs, playing the majority of the third period and stopping all seven shots he faced in relief of Dan Vladar. The 23-year-old Kolosov will now get the chance to start for the first time this season against the struggling Flames, who have the NHL's worst offense at 2.15 goals per game.

  • Ilya Sorokin G | NYI

Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Will start Tuesday

Sorokin will get the start for Tuesday's game against the Bruins, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.

Sorokin is backing up David Rittich against the Blue Jackets on Sunday, but Islanders head coach Patrick Roy volunteered that Sorokin would be the one between the pipes against the Bruins on Tuesday. The 30-year-old has not been his usual self so far this season, posting just a 3-4-1 record, a 3.40 GAA and an .877 save percentage. The Bruins have been off since Saturday's 2-1 win over the Hurricanes.

  • Islanders' David Rittich: Making third home start

Rittich will get the start in net for Sunday's game against the Blue Jackets, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.

The Islanders have only had one back-to-back so far this season, so the team has had to be creative in finding ways to get Rittich work. He'll be starting for the fourth time this season Sunday. The 33-year-old will look to rebound from his worst start of the year, in which Rittich surrendered six goals on 34 shots against the Hurricanes. The Blue Jackets come in on a four-game winning streak.
