  • Jet Greaves G | CLB

Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Earns second straight win

Greaves stopped 37 of 39 shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Blues.

The Blue Jackets have been rotating their goaltenders this season, meaning Greaves got the nod here against St. Louis and Elvis Merzlikins will start the second leg of this back-to-back set against the Islanders on Sunday. Greaves has gone 3-3-0 this season but has won his last two starts, posting a solid .935 save percentage in that stretch. If the rotation between the pipes continues for Columbus, Greaves would be lined up to make his next start against the Flames on Wednesday.

  • Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Battles for first win

Luukkonen stopped 31 of 34 shots on goal in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Capitals.

Luukkonen's second start of the season got off to a shaky start, as he allowed two goals in the first two and a half minutes. Outside that mark, he was nearly perfect, allowing just one more goal across regulation and overtime en route to the shootout win. Luukkonen now has a 1-0-1 record with a 3.33 GAA and an .877 save percentage in two games this season. The return to the win column for the 26-year-old netminder should chip away at the fantasy value of fellow goalie Alex Lyon, who has a 3-4-2 record through nine games this season. Luukkonen will likely be the team's top option between the pipes moving forward, giving him solid fantasy value once the volume starts to match his totals from seasons past. His next chance to take the ice is at home Tuesday against the Mammoth.

  • Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Falls short in shootout

Lindgren made 21 saves on 24 attempts on net in Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Sabres.

After allowing three goals in the first, Lindgren survived the extra period before surrendering the lone tally of the shootout to Buffalo defenseman Bowen Byram. With the loss, Lindgren now has a 1-2-1 record, 3.47 GAA and an .880 save percentage through four appearances. With each loss that passes for the 31-year-old goalie, Washington's starting netminder Logan Thompson seems to grab a larger hold on the top spot of the depth chart. While Lindgren appeared in 39 regular-season games a year ago, he is on pace to take the ice in just 20 games this year if the current goalie rotation keeps up. Lindgren still has some fantasy value as a spot start, but there are likely better external options receiving more opportunities in net than him.

  • Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Secures another win

Stolarz stopped 31 of 33 shots in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Flyers.

Stolarz allowed a goal early in the first period to Christian Dvorak and one late in the third, scored by Tyson Foerster on the power play. In between, the Maple Leafs scored four times, and Stolarz was sharp to maintain the lead they built throughout the final frame. The 31-year-old netminder is now 4-4-1 on the year with a 3.13 GAA and an .893 save percentage through nine starts. The Maple Leafs are set to return home for the next four games, beginning with Monday's matchup against the Penguins.

  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Drops result in overtime

Daccord stopped 24 of 27 shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Rangers.

Daccord has lost his last two games in overtime. While that's not ideal, he was about the only reason the Kraken snatched a standings point from Saturday's game, as they were outshot 27-13 by the Rangers. Daccord is now 5-1-3 with a 2.70 GAA and a .904 save percentage through nine starts. The Kraken's next two games are at home against up-and-coming squads as they host the Blackhawks on Monday and the Sharks on Wednesday. Considering Daccord has started four straight games, it may not be a bad time for the Kraken to go with Philipp Grubauer or Matt Murray, though the team has not revealed its goaltending plans for the four-game week ahead. It's probably safe to assume Daccord will start at least twice in that stretch.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Light workload in overtime win

Shesterkin stopped 11 of 13 shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Kraken.

The Rangers played a structured game, giving the Kraken little room to generate. Shesterkin wasn't at his best, but he was good enough to pick up his second consecutive win while facing a season-low workload. The 29-year-old improved to 4-4-2 with a 2.28 GAA and a .913 save percentage through 10 starts. The Rangers won three of four games on their road trip, but still generated just nine goals in that span. They'll need to provide Shesterkin more consistent support going forward, though that could be tough to do in a home matchup against the Hurricanes on Tuesday.

  • Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Loses to Oilers in overtime

Knight stopped 27 of 30 shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Oilers.

Knight put in a decent effort, but two power-play goals and Evan Bouchard's game-winner sent the Blackhawks to a second straight defeat. The 24-year-old Knight has allowed nine goals on 62 shots over his last two contests, and he may be coming down from his high-quality performances from mid-October. He's at a 4-3-2 record with a 2.62 GAA and a .913 save percentage over nine starts this year. The Blackhawks' road trip continues in Seattle on Monday. Knight has started six of the last seven games but has not gotten the nod four times in a row yet this season, so it's unclear if he'll play Monday.

  • Oilers' Stuart Skinner: Prevails in overtime

Skinner stopped 27 of 29 shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blackhawks.

Skinner let two leads get away, but Evan Bouchard's tally at 2:43 of overtime gave the Oilers a win. This was Skinner's second win in three starts and the first time in four outings he's allowed fewer than three goals. The 27-year-old netminder is now at a 4-3-2 record with a 2.52 GAA and a .900 save percentage over nine appearances. The Oilers have a road back-to-back up next with games Monday in St. Louis and Tuesday in Dallas, so both Skinner and Calvin Pickard should start once in that stretch.

  • Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Falls to Devils

Kuemper stopped 18 of 21 shots in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Devils. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

Kuemper took his first regulation loss since Oct. 11 versus the Jets. The 35-year-old netminder didn't get much help from his teammates, as they were able to score on just one of 44 shots against Jacob Markstrom. Kuemper is now at a 3-3-3 record with a 2.85 GAA and an .891 save percentage over nine outings. While he's not doing particularly well with his ratios, he's still likely to get most of the starts. The Kings host the Jets on Tuesday in another tough matchup.

  • Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Stellar under heavy pressure

Markstrom stopped 43 of 44 shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Kings.

Markstrom faced 40-plus shots for the second game in a row, but he came away with a much better result this time after allowing eight goals in his previous outing. He limited the Kings to an Andrei Kuzmenko goal midway through the third period. Markstrom improved to 3-2-0 with a 4.17 GAA and an .875 save percentage over five outings this season. The Devils signed the Swedish netminder to a two-year extension on Friday, so they clearly believe he can get back on track and be a part of their success in the near future. Fantasy managers should do the same -- he's an effective starter when he's at his best, though he may have his workload managed to avoid further injuries. Look for Jake Allen to get the nod Sunday in Anaheim.
