  • Devin Cooley G | CGY

Flames' Devin Cooley: Perfect in relief against Predators

Cooley stopped all 12 shots he faced over the final two periods of Saturday's 4-2 loss to Nashville.

Starter Dustin Wolf allowed three goals on 11 shots in the first period, and the final goal was an empty-netter. Cooley doesn't have a win yet, and he's started just two games. Still, his 1.98 GAA and .933 save percentage sparkle beside Wolf's 2-8-1 record with a 3.63 GAA and an .881 save percentage. Watch for Cooley to get a start soon to see if he can give the poor-performing Flames a jolt.

  • Eric Comrie G | WPG

    Jets' Eric Comrie: Stays undefeated

Comrie made 28 saves in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Penguins.

The 30-year-old netminder cruised to the victory as the Jets scored their first goal just 15 seconds into the game and built a 4-0 lead. Sidney Crosby finally solved Comrie on a Pens power play late in the second period. Comrie predictably isn't getting much work behind Connor Hellebuyck, but he's taking advantage of his opportunities between the pipes, going 3-0-0 with a 2.33 GAA and a .929 save percentage.

  • Dustin Wolf G | CGY

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Yanked after one frame

Wolf allowed three goals on 11 shots in the first period of Saturday's 4-2 loss to Nashville before being replaced by Devin Cooley.

Wolf is an abysmal 2-8-1 with an ugly 3.63 GAA and an .881 save percentage. He delivered a 29-16-8 record with a 2.64 GAA and a .910 save percentage in the 2024-25 regular season. Calgary hasn't carried any momentum from contending for a playoff spot last year. Wolf has bounce-back appeal if the team can right the ship, but he's a hard goalie to trust right now in fantasy.

  • Penguins' Arturs Silovs: Downed by Jets

Silovs stopped 29 of 33 shots in Saturday's 5-2 loss to Winnipeg, with the Jets' final goal getting scored into an empty net.

The home side scored just 15 seconds into the game when Gabriel Vilardi banked in the puck off Silvos from behind the net, setting the tone for the afternoon, and Winnipeg took a 4-0 lead in the second on a Kyle Connor penalty shot before the Pittsburgh offense woke up. Silovs has lost three straight starts, going 0-1-2 while giving up 10 goals on 108 shots (.907 save percentage) as he continues to work in a timeshare with Tristan Jarry.

  • Juuse Saros G | NSH

Predators' Juuse Saros: Carrying heavy workload so far

Saros made 33 saves in a 4-2 win over the Flames on Saturday.

Saros has started 11 of Nashville's first 13 games, and he's 5-4-2 with a 2.79 GAA and a .905 save percentage in that span. This heavy workload may catch up to Saros at some point, but the team's confidence in Justus Annunen could increase before that happens.

  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Set to start Saturday

Daccord will guard the home goal versus the Rangers on Saturday, Joe Pohoryles of Emerald City Spectrum reports.

Daccord will make his fourth straight start. He has allowed six goals on 86 shots in that span, going 2-0-1. The Rangers have been a low-scoring team this year, but they've racked up 12 goals over their last four games with a 2-1-1 record during that stretch.

  • Devils' Jacob Markstrom: In goal Saturday

Markstrom will protect the road goal versus the Kings on Saturday, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.

Markstrom was rocked for eight goals against the Avalanche on Tuesday in his return from a lower-body injury. He'll have an easier matchup in Saturday's contest, though the Kings haven't lost in regulation over their last seven games.

  • Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Facing Devils

Kuemper will protect the home goal versus the Devils on Saturday, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.

Kuemper is 3-0-2 with a 2.51 GAA and a .908 save percentage over his last five games. His most recent game was a 4-3 shootout loss to the Red Wings on Thursday. Kuemper should continue to see a majority of the starts for the Kings, but he has a tough assignment Saturday, as the Devils have averaged 3.73 goals per game this season.

  • Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Third loss in last four starts

Andersen made 20 saves in a 2-1 loss Saturday to Boston.

The game was scoreless until the third period, and Andersen wasn't exactly to blame for either goal against him. His defense got a little too aggressive and then got caught up the ice, which allowed the Bruins to capitalize. Andersen has lost three of his last four games after starting the season with three straight wins. He has allowed 14 goals in his past four outings, giving him a 2.96 GAA and an .894 save percentage overall this season.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Sharp bounce back game

Swayman made 28 saves in a 2-1 win over Carolina on Saturday.

It was his first start since allowing seven goals in a 7-2 loss to Ottawa on Monday, and he was outstanding. The Canes got better as the game progressed, and Swayman was up for the task. The only puck that got past him came late at 17:11 of the third when Alexander Nikishin fired a big shot from the slot with an extra attacker on the ice.
