  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Another strong start Saturday

Daccord turned aside 31 of 33 shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Oilers.

Daccord followed up his shutout over Winnipeg on Thursday with another win against a Western Conference powerhouse. The Oilers got one goal on the power play and another on a deflection, so Daccord can't be blamed much for letting two in. He's now 5-1-1 with a 2.48 GAA and a .915 save percentage as the Kraken's unquestioned starter. He'll look to keep up the good work Tuesday at home versus the Canadiens.

  • Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Falls in shootout

Kuemper stopped 21 of 25 shots in Saturday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Predators.

Kuemper took his first loss since returning from a lower-body injury, though all three of those games have gone past regulation time on the road. The 35-year-old wasn't at his best at any point Saturday, as he also allowed four of Nashville's nine shootout attempts to find the net. Kuemper is 2-2-2 with a 2.78 GAA and an .887 save percentage through six starts this season. Look for Anton Forsberg to get the starting nod in Chicago on Sunday.

  • Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: OT loss in season debut

Luukkonen made 18 saves Saturday in a 4-3 overtime loss to Toronto.

He made his season debut after missing the first seven games of the season due to a lower-body injury. Luukkonen was solid, but he may want back the third goal he allowed. Dakota Joshua cut across the slot and shot past the netminder's glove from the left faceoff dot. Luukkonen's return creates a logjam in the net for the Sabres, but he's a good bet to become the team's top option again over Alex Lyon and Colten Ellis (back).

  • Juuse Saros G | NSH

Predators' Juuse Saros: Comes away with shootout win

Saros stopped 36 of 40 shots in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Kings.

Saros has won two games in a row, but he has allowed four or more goals on three occasions in his past four starts. The 30-year-old wasn't all that sharp in the nine-round shootout either, giving up three tallies to the Kings. Still, he's now 4-2-2 with a 2.68 GAA and a .909 save percentage over eight starts this season. The Predators will likely to roll out Justus Annunen to handle the second half of a back-to-back at home against the Stars on Sunday.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Allows one goal Saturday

Ullmark stopped 12 of 13 shots in Saturday's 7-1 win over the Capitals.

The Capitals had their worst offensive performance of the season by a wide margin, meaning Ullmark didn't have a lot of work in this game. Even if he had been busy, the Senators' offense provided enough support after scoring seven goals. Ullmark has won his last two starts while stopping 34 of 36 shots. He'll aim to keep that positive run going against the Bruins on Monday, although it's uncertain if he'll get the start after being between the pipes in each of Ottawa's previous four contests.

  • Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Concedes seven goals Saturday

Lindgren stopped 27 of 34 shots in Saturday's 7-1 loss to the Senators.

Lindgren surrendered four goals at even strength and three on Ottawa power plays, as the Capitals couldn't find a way to slow down the Senators. The seven goals allowed were a season high for Lindgren, who hasn't been playing as much this campaign as he did a year ago behind Logan Thompson.

  • Hurricanes' Brandon Bussi: Plays well in loss

Bussi stopped 31 of 34 shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Stars.

Deflections on two of the goals doomed Bussi, sending him to his first NHL loss. That's not his fault, especially when he's playing behind a team missing three regular defensemen and two bottom-six forwards. He's allowed seven goals on 79 shots over his first three NHL starts, filling in admirably as the Hurricanes' backup goalie while Pyotr Kochetkov (lower body) is on the shelf. Frederik Andersen will likely get the nod Tuesday at home versus the Golden Knights.

  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: Gets back in win column

Oettinger allowed two goals on 28 shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Hurricanes.

Oettinger was sharp against a strong but injury-depleted team at the tail end of its road trip. That was good enough for Oettinger to get his first win since Oct. 14 versus the Wild. The 26-year-old netminder is now at a 4-2-1 record with a 2.98 GAA and an .899 save percentage over seven starts. We haven't seen Oettinger's best early in the season, but he's played well enough to handle a starting role. He'll likely take the bench Sunday in Nashville to close out a back-to-back set -- look for Casey DeSmith to be between the pipes for that one.

  • Blues' Jordan Binnington: Allows five goals in loss

Binnington stopped 22 of 27 shots in Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Red Wings. The sixth goal was an empty-netter in the third period.

Binnington and the Blues allowed six goals in a row, as they went from leading 4-0 early in the second period to suffering a 6-4 defeat. Binnington was coming off five straight outings in which he had given up three or fewer goals, so this was clearly a step in the wrong direction. After making six straight appearances and going 2-2-1 over that stretch, it's unclear if he'll remain in the starting lineup when the Blues take on the Penguins on Monday.

  • Canucks' Kevin Lankinen: Rough start to season continues

Lankinen allowed four goals on 24 shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canadiens.

Lankinen has gone 1-3-0 over his first four outings this season, allowing at least four goals in each loss. The 30-year-old squandered a 2-0 lead in this contest. The Canucks have alternated Lankinen and Thatcher Demko over the last eight games, but head coach Adam Foote may eventually opt to increase Demko's workload since he's getting better results. Lankinen is likely to watch from the bench in Sunday's game against the Oilers.
