Oettinger is coming off a 22-save effort in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Kings. He has surrendered nine goals on 74 shots during his three-game losing skid (0-2-1). Carolina sits second in the league with 4.00 goals per game this season.

Silovs was the first goaltender off the ice at the morning skate, Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff reports, indicating he will defend the home crease versus Columbus on Saturday.
Silovs has been sharp in all three wins this season, allowing only three goals on 81 shots. He had one mediocre performance against the Rangers on Oct. 11, giving up six goals on 30 shots in a 6-1 defeat. Columbus is tied for 21st in the league with 2.86 goals per game.

Bobrovsky got off to a great start this season, winning his first three games. However, the 37-year-old has struggled of late, losing three of his last four starts. Bobrovsky is 4-3-0 with a 2.62 GAA and an .893 save percentage across seven appearances this season. The Golden Knights lead the league with 4.29 goals per game this campaign.

Sharks' Yaroslav Askarov: Gives up two goals
Askarov stopped 26 of 28 shots in Friday's 3-1 loss to the Devils. The third goal was an empty-netter with 47 seconds left in the game.
Askarov allowed two power-play goals to New Jersey defenseman Dougie Hamilton, but turned in a valiant effort in Friday's defeat. By the time the Devils added a third goal, the 23-year-old netminder was already on the bench with the Sharks pushing for a late equalizer. The Sharks have been rotating goalies this season, and Askarov hasn't been a very reliable option. In four starts, he's gone 0-3-1 with a 4.81 GAA and a poor .857 save percentage.

Devils' Jake Allen: Beaten once Friday
Allen stopped 16 of 17 shots in Friday's 3-1 win over the Sharks.
Allen surrendered the opening goal of the game at the 2:25 mark of the first period, when William Eklund found the back of the net on a San Jose power play. However, the 35-year-old Allen shut the door afterward, ultimately allowing the Devils to mount a comeback win. He has won each of his last four starts while posting a 1.75 GAA and an excellent .926 save percentage.

Sabres' Devon Levi: Earns shutout over Laval
Levi posted a 19-save shutout in AHL Rochester's 4-0 win over Laval on Friday.
Levi has been tasked with dominating the AHL this season, and he's off to a 3-0-0 start. He's allowed seven goals on 76 shots over his first three games, but he also posted his first shutout of the season Friday, which was the eighth of his AHL career. The Sabres are carrying three goalies on the NHL roster now that Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen is healthy -- until that logjam is cleared, Levi will remain in Rochester.
