Dustin Wolf G | CGY
Flames' Dustin Wolf: Pulled after two periods
Wolf gave up five goals on 19 shots in two periods of Saturday's 6-1 loss to the Golden Knights.
Head coach Ryan Huska pulled Wolf after two frames, allowing Devin Cooley to get some work in mop-up duty. Wolf has lost four straight games, and the Flames have five consecutive defeats since pulling off a comeback win over the Oilers on Opening Night. Wolf's at a 4.30 GAA and an .854 save percentage through five starts. He'll put in better performances eventually, but wins look like they'll be hard to come by -- the Flames are dead last in the NHL with just 10 goals scored through six games. It won't get any easier when the high-flying Jets visit Calgary on Monday.

Adin Hill G | LV
Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Pours cold water on Flames
Hill stopped 26 of 27 shots in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Flames.
The Golden Knights' offense was humming, and Hill never let the Flames get too close after allowing a power-play goal to Jonathan Huberdeau in the first period. This was Hill's first win of the year -- he was injured in Tuesday's contest in Calgary, but Vegas was behind when he left that game. Hill is 1-0-2 with 10 goals allowed on 85 shots, so he still has some work to do to get his numbers on track. A tough test is ahead, as the Golden Knights host the undefeated Hurricanes on Monday.

Tristan Jarry G | EDM
Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Posts shutout win
Jarry recorded a 31-save shutout in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Sharks.
Jarry has now won two of his three starts on the year. The Sharks generated some chances, but Jarry was up to the task, outdueling former teammate Alex Nedeljkovic in the other crease. For the season, Jarry has allowed seven goals on 90 shots. Consistency will be key, and that could be tough to find, but the Penguins have been better than expected early on under new head coach Dan Muse. If the goalie rotation continues, Arturs Silovs would face his old team, the Canucks, on Tuesday, before Jarry gets the nod against the struggling defending champions, the Panthers, on Thursday.

Alex Nedeljkovic G | SJ
Sharks' Alex Nedeljkovic: Gets no support in loss
Nedeljkovic allowed two goals on 26 shots in Saturday's 3-0 loss to the Penguins. The third goal was an empty-netter.
Nedeljkovic put in a good effort, but Sidney Crosby's tip-in goal at 7:35 of the second period was enough to sink him. Anthony Mantha also scored in the third, and Evgeni Malkin added an empty-netter. Nedeljkovic was unable to get one over on his old teammates, but this was his best start of the season. He's 0-2-1 with 11 goals allowed on 100 shots. The 29-year-old netminder will remain a shaky option in fantasy behind a Sharks team that has yet to put in a full effort all over the ice. Head coach Ryan Warsofsky has alternated goalies so far, and if that continues, Nedeljkovic's next outing would be Thursday versus the Rangers.

Anton Forsberg G | LA
Kings' Anton Forsberg: Struggles early, loses in overtime
Forsberg stopped 36 of 40 shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Hurricanes.
Forsberg dropped to 1-1-1 on the year. The 32-year-old was tagged for two goals by Jordan Staal in the first four minutes, but the Kings were able to claw back, only for Seth Jarvis to seal the Hurricanes' win in overtime. With 12 goals allowed on 100 shots over three games, Forsberg's performance has been poor behind a shakier-than-usual defense. The Swede will handle No. 1 duties between the pipes until Darcy Kuemper (lower body) returns. Kuemper's status for a five-game road trip that begins in St. Louis on Tuesday has yet to be announced, so Forsberg could be in for a busy week as the Sharks play five games in a span of eight days.

Joey Daccord G | SEA
Kraken's Joey Daccord: Remains unbeaten in regulation
Daccord made 26 saves in a 4-3 overtime win over the Maple Leafs on Saturday.
John Tavares beat him twice, and Morgan Rielly had one snipe. Daccord is off to a sharp start this season, and he remains unbeaten in regulation. He's 3-0-1 with a 2.39 GAA and a .912 save percentage. No more Daccord doubters -- ride this wave.

Brandon Bussi G | CAR
Hurricanes' Brandon Bussi: Collects second win
Bussi stopped 25 of 28 shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Kings.
The Kings overcame a 3-0 deficit to force overtime, but Bussi won his second career start when Seth Jarvis tallied for the Hurricanes 1:45 into the extra session. The 27-year-old Bussi is providing reliable backup netminding to keep Frederik Andersen fresh early in the season. With four goals allowed on 45 shots, Bussi has looked the part of an NHL netminder in his first two games. Expect Andersen to get the start Monday in Vegas, but it wouldn't be surprising to see Bussi play in one of the Hurricanes' last two games of the road trip.

Jeremy Swayman G | BOS
Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Kept busy in loss
Swayman allowed three goals on 37 shots in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Avalanche. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.
Swayman played fairly well, but the Bruins put just 14 shots up against Scott Wedgewood and the Avalanche's defense. Swayman started consecutive games for the first time this season after splitting the first four contests with Joonas Korpisalo. With 11 goals allowed on 132 shots, Swayman has performed well, but he will need some help from the Bruins' defense to make his job easier. Look for Korpisalo to get the nod in the second half of a back-to-back when the Bruins visit the Mammoth on Sunday.

Scott Wedgewood G | COL
Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Faces little traffic in win
Wedgewood stopped 13 of 14 shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Bruins.
Wedgewood has won five of his six starts, with the lone defeat coming in a shootout. The 33-year-old had almost no work to do Saturday, as he gave up a goal to John Beecher at 3:11 of the first period before shutting the door the rest of the way. Wedgewood has a 1.48 GAA and .938 save percentage and has more than admirably filled in for Mackenzie Blackwood (lower body), who recently completed a conditioning stint with AHL Colorado. At this point, it wouldn't be surprising for Wedgewood to claim a timeshare even once Blackwood is healthy, which could benefit both goalies. The Avalanche play in Utah on Tuesday, which could make goal support a little harder to come by against the stingy Mammoth.

Anthony Stolarz G | TOR
Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Frustrated after OT loss
Stolarz made 24 saves in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Kraken.
It was a rough game for Stolarz, who was repeatedly run into and knocked down by opponents. He was critical of his teammates after the game for not crashing the Kraken net with the same aggressiveness. The netminder was also unhappy with his team's lack of competitiveness in the extra frame. Stolarz is 2-2-1 with a 2.79 GAA and .897 save percentage so far, and he's stepping into a leadership role with the squad. The Leafs need that, given their queasy start to the season.
