  • Golden Knights' Ilya Samsonov: Not ready to return

Samsonov (upper body) won't be in the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Avalanche, per the NHL media site.

There's been no update on Samsonov since he was a late scratch March 29 versus the Predators. The Golden Knights have little incentive to rush him back prior to the playoffs. Akira Schmid will start versus the Avalanche on Tuesday, but Adin Hill is Vegas' No. 1 netminder.

  • Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Will not suit up Tuesday

Grubauer is battling an illness and won't suit up for Tuesday's game versus Utah, Mike Benton of the Kraken Audio Network reports.

Grubauer likely would have been in line to start Tuesday after Joey Daccord played Monday in Los Angeles, but a flu bug has changed the plans. It's unclear if Grubauer will be ready to go Thursday at Vegas. Tuesday's game concludes the last back-to-back set on the Kraken's schedule, so it's possible Grubauer may not get another game this season.

  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Starting consecutive days

Daccord will protect the road goal versus Utah on Tuesday, Mike Benton of the Kraken Audio Network reports.

Daccord stopped 28 of 29 shots in Monday's 2-1 win over the Kings, and he'll now play consecutive days. Philipp Grubauer (illness) is unavailable, while Victor Ostman will serve as the backup goalie after receiving an emergency call-up. Daccord has allowed just two goals during his current three game-winning streak.

  • Ilya Sorokin G | NYI

Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Between pipes in Music City

Sorokin will defend the road net Tuesday against the Predators.

Sorokin has allowed a total of two goals on 57 shots over back-to-back wins against Minnesota and Washington. The Russian netminder has not fared well against the Predators in his career, owning a 1-3-1 record, .885 save percentage and 2.97 GAA over five appearances. Nashville ranks last in the NHL with 2.48 goals per game in 2024-25 and has netted exactly one goal in four of its last five matchups, all of which have been losses.

  • Predators' Justus Annunen: Set to start Tuesday

Annunen is expected to patrol the home crease against the Islanders on Tuesday, per Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site.

Annunen was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate after occupying the starter's crease during the session. He is 0-5-1 in his last seven appearances, surrendering 17 goals on 156 shots. Annunen has a 14-14-1 record with a 3.05 GAA and an .889 save percentage through 32 appearances between Nashville and Colorado this season.

  • Wild's Marc-Andre Fleury: Starting Wednesday against San Jose

Fleury will be between the home pipes Wednesday versus the Sharks, per Michael Russo of The Athletic.

Fleury will draw his 22nd start in 2024-25 on Wednesday in what could be the final home game of his regular-season career. The three-time Stanley Cup champion hasn't played well lately, going 0-3-0 with a 4.06 GAA and an .865 save percentage across his last three appearances. He'll look to turn it around against a San Jose team that has produced 2.55 goals per game this season, the second-worst mark in the league. Furthermore, Fleury has a phenomenal 20-5-4 record, 1.85 GAA and .940 save percentage over 29 career appearances against the Sharks.

  • Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Loses despite fine outing

Kuemper stopped 26 of 28 shots in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Kraken.

Kuemper saw the end of his three-game winning streak despite delivering another solid showing. He's surrendered two or fewer goals in each of his past 14 outings. Since the beginning of March, Kuemper is 10-4-1 with an outstanding 1.40 GAA and .940 save percentage in 15 starts.

  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Extends winning streak

Daccord stopped 28 of 29 shots in Monday's 2-1 win over the Kings.

Daccord was outstanding en route to his third consecutive win, a span in which he's stopped 75 of the 77 shots he's faced. Having won four of his last five starts and posting outstanding peripherals over that stretch (1.40 GAA, .948 save percentage), there's no doubt Daccord is ending the season on an excellent stretch.

  • James Reimer G | OTT

Sabres' James Reimer: In goal Tuesday

Reimer will start against the Hurricanes on Tuesday, according to Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News.

Reimer has turned aside 164 of 181 shots on goal during his six-game winning streak. The 37-year-old has an 8-8-2 record, .899 save percentage and 2.93 GAA over 20 appearances between Anaheim and Buffalo this season. The Hurricanes have followed up a three-game winning streak with back-to-back losses against Detroit and Boston. Reimer is 6-10-4 with a .921 save percentage and a 2.51 GAA across 22 career appearances against the Canes.

  • Golden Knights' Akira Schmid: First off Tuesday

Schmid was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, according to Aarif Deen of Colorado Hockey Now, indicating he will defend the road net versus the Avalanche on Tuesday.

Schmid is coming off a 21-save performance in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over Calgary. He has stopped 35 of 37 shots in three NHL appearances this season. Colorado ranks fifth in the league with 3.36 goals per game in 2024-25.
