  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Falls to Buffalo

Vasilevskiy stopped 25 of 28 shots in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Sabres, with Buffalo's final goal getting scored into an empty net.

The Lightning rallied from one-goal deficits in the first and second periods, but the team's offense fell silent over the latter half of the game. Vasilevskiy has allowed more than three goals only once in his last 12 starts as Tampa Bay gets ready for the postseason, going 8-3-1 over that stretch with a 2.35 GAA and .904 save percentage.

  • Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: In goal Tuesday

Wallstedt will be between the pipes at home against the Kraken on Tuesday, Kevin Falness of KFAN reports.

Wallstedt has appeared in just two of the Wild's last seven contests, but he secured victories in both of those outings while recording a 1.50 GAA. With the team ending the year with a back-to-back, the 23-year-old netminder will likely get one more opportunity to feature before the postseason, when Filip Gustavsson will be in full control of the net.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Slated to start Tuesday

Swayman is expected to get the starting nod on the road versus the Hurricanes on Tuesday, Kevin Paul Dupont of The Boston Globe reports.

Swayman has given up just two goals in each of his last two outings, but lost both due to a lack of offensive support, with the Bruins having generated just one goal in each of their last three outings. Still, the 27-year-old netminder has already set a new personal best with 30 wins this year and has the Bruins back in the playoff picture.

  • Penguins' Sergei Murashov: Called up from minors

Murashov was recalled from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Tuesday.

Murashov has played in five NHL games this season in which he is sporting a 1-1-2 record, 2.56 GAA and one shutout. With the Baby Pens, the 22-year-old backstop has been hard to beat, going 23-8-3 with a .922 save percentage and three shutouts. Widely considered the Pens' goalie of the future, that could start now with both Stuart Skinner (eye) and Arturs Silovs underwhelming in recent performances.

  • Juuse Saros G | NSH

Predators' Juuse Saros: Starting in Southern California

Saros will be between the pipes Monday in Los Angeles, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.

Saros has won back-to-back games and five of his last six, but he's surrendered at least three goals in all but one of those contests. This will be the Finnish netminder's second start in Los Angeles in less than a week -- he made 29 saves on 33 shots during a 5-4 shootout win over the Kings on Thursday. Saros has fared well against the Kings throughout his career, going 8-3-1 with a 2.69 GAA and a .918 save percentage over 12 regular-season games against them.

  • Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Injured in Winnipeg

Grubauer sustained a lower-body injury during Monday's game in Winnipeg and will not return.

Grubauer departed the game in the second period after appearing to tweak something while going to the ice to play the puck, per Sound of Hockey. The German netminder conceded three goals on 18 shots before giving way to Joey Daccord. Daccord and Matt Murray will be the options to start in Minnesota on Tuesday, while Grubauer should be considered day-to-day for now.

  • Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Patrolling road paint

Grubauer will draw the road start in Monday's contest against the Jets, per the NHL Media Site.

Grubauer will grab his second consecutive start Monday after falling to the Blackhawks on Saturday. With Monday's start, he will have appeared in five of Seattle's last six games and is slowly taking the No. 1 goaltender spot away from Joey Daccord. Overall, Grubauer has a 13-11-4 record, a 2.59 GAA and a .910 save percentage across 31 appearances this season. He'll face off against the Jets, who rank 25th in the NHL with 2.80 goals per game this season.

  • Penguins' Taylor Gauthier: Shipped back to minors

Gauthier was reassigned to ECHL Wheeling on Monday, Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports reports.

Gauthier was able to serve as the backup against the Panthers on Sunday, but he won't be making his NHL debut any time soon. If Stuart Skinner (upper body) isn't ready to face the Devils on Thursday, fantasy managers can likely expect Sergei Murashov to be elevated from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton -- which means the 25-year-old Gauthier figures to spend the rest of the year in the minors.

  • Canucks' Kevin Lankinen: Managing upper-body issue

Lankinen has been ruled out for Tuesday's home game against the Golden Knights due to an upper-body injury, Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK reports.

Lankinen missed Saturday's game against the Mammoth due to an illness, but he's also dealing with an upper-body issue that will sideline him for a second consecutive matchup. It's not yet clear when he'll be able to return, but Jiri Patera will presumably remain with Vancouver for Tuesday's game.

  • Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Tending twine Monday

Knight will guard the road goal against San Jose on Monday, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.

Knight hasn't earned a win in his last five outings (0-3-2) while allowing 17 goals on 171 shots. He has posted a record of 18-22-11 this campaign with three shutouts, a 2.71 GAA and a .908 save percentage across 51 appearances. San Jose is tied for 17th in the league with 3.05 goals per game this season.
