Ilya Sorokin G | NYI
Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Allows three late goals Tuesday
Sorokin turned aside 18 of 21 shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Red Wings.
Sorokin kept New York's net tidy through the first two periods before the Red Wings scored three goals, including two on the power play, across the final 20 minutes. With the loss, he now has a 12-9-2 record with a 2.52 GAA and a .910 save percentage through 23 appearances this season. Tuesday's loss ended a five-game win streak for Sorokin, who has been one of the league's strongest netminders over the past month. In his last 10 games, the 30-year-old goalie has six wins, a 2.01 GAA and a .927 save percentage. Despite the late collapse Tuesday, Sorokin remains a top option in fantasy between the pipes with the Islanders in the heart of the playoff race in the Metropolitan Division. His next chance to take the ice is Friday against the new-look Canucks.

Philipp Grubauer G | SEA
Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Fades in third period
Grubauer stopped 33 of 37 shots in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Avalanche. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.
Grubauer was in for a tough matchup, but the Kraken gave him a fighting chance with a 3-2 lead after two periods. Nathan MacKinnon took over in the third, and that sent Grubauer to his third straight loss since the Kraken started alternating goalie starts between Grubauer and Joey Daccord. On the year, Grubauer is 4-3-1 with a 2.77 GAA and an .899 save percentage over 10 outings. If the alternating pattern continues, Daccord would start Thursday in Calgary, followed by Grubauer getting the nod Saturday in San Jose.

MacKenzie Blackwood G | COL
Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Holds on for win
Blackwood stopped 34 of 37 shots in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Kraken.
Blackwood faced heavier pressure than expected, and he gave up all three goals in the middle frame. The Avalanche were able to take over in the third period to get the win, with Blackwood improving to 10-1-1 on the year in the process. This was just the second time in his last nine outings that he allowed three or more goals. He's at a 2.26 GAA and a .920 save percentage through 12 appearances, and he's been sharing the crease with Scott Wedgewood lately. The Avalanche host the Jets on Friday before visiting the Wild on Sunday, and Blackwood figures to play in at least one of those games.

Dustin Wolf G | CGY
Flames' Dustin Wolf: Lit up in San Jose
Wolf allowed five goals on 25 shots in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Sharks on Tuesday. The sixth goal was an empty-netter.
Wolf has typically done well against his hometown team, but Macklin Celebrini's four-point effort didn't allow that trend to hold Tuesday. This ended Wolf's recent success, which saw him win four straight starts. He's down to 10-13-2 with a 2.96 GAA and an .896 save percentage over 26 outings. He's been trending better lately, but fantasy managers may want to be selective with his matchups. If he starts at home Thursday versus the Kraken, he would have a favorable assignment in a battle between two of the lowest-scoring teams in the league.

Yaroslav Askarov G | SJ
Sharks' Yaroslav Askarov: Picks up win Tuesday
Askarov allowed three goals on 30 shots in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Flames.
The Flames overcame an early 2-0 deficit, but Askarov made sure the Sharks' next lead would hold. The 23-year-old has won his last two starts, but he's given up eight goals on 73 shots in that span. He may continue to face high shot totals behind a defense that can be on the leaky side. Askarov is up to 12-8-1 on the year with a 3.23 GAA and a .900 save percentage through 21 starts. The Sharks are in for a tougher matchup when they host the Stars on Thursday.

Spencer Knight G | CHI
Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Bright spot in dark season
Knight made 23 saves in a 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs on Tuesday.
The Hawks seemed to be cruising until they collapsed and the Leafs scored twice within eight seconds late in the third to steal the win. Knight may be 1-3-0 in his last four starts, but he's one of the Blackhawks' top players this season. He's 10-8-5 with a 2.54 GAA and .914 save percentage in 23 starts. He has two shutouts. Unfortunately, the Hawks are three points from the bottom of the Western Conference.

Carl Lindbom G | LV
Golden Knights' Carl Lindbom: Earns shutout in AHL play
Lindbom recorded a 32-save shutout in AHL Henderson's 1-0 win over San Diego on Tuesday.
Lindbom has won three of five outings since returning from his stint in the NHL. The netminder is 4-2-1 with a 1.86 GAA and a .929 save percentage, as well as two shutouts, across seven appearances with Henderson this season. Should either of Akira Schmid or Carter Hart become unavailable before Adin Hill (lower body) gets healthy, Lindbom would be the top candidate for a call-up.
-
Joseph Woll G | TOR
Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Solid in return from injury
Woll (lower body) made 23 saves in a 3-2 win over the Blackhawks on Tuesday.
Woll surrendered two goals, including a shorthanded snipe, in a 4:37 span in the first period and then settled in. He had missed four games due to injury. Woll kept his team in the game in the second and most of the third when boos rained down for their weak play. Still, the Leafs are 5-1-2 in the past eight games, and they could do as well or better with Woll back in the paint. He's 5-3-1 overall with a 2.39 GAA and .927 save percentage.

Filip Gustavsson G | MIN
Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Earns third shutout of season
Gustavsson posted a 25-save shutout in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Capitals.
Gustavsson looks to have clawed back the starting role, as he's tended the twine four times in the Wild's last five games. He's won all of those outings while allowing just five goals on 98 shots. The 27-year-old is up to three shutouts this year and 14 in his career, and through 22 appearances in 2025-26, he's at an 11-8-3 record with a 2.49 GAA and a .912 save percentage. The Wild also have Jesper Wallstedt in what's becoming an embarrassment of riches in the crease, with both goalies worth starting in fantasy whenever they get the nod.

Charlie Lindgren G | WAS
Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Yields five goals in loss
Lindgren allowed five goals on 32 shots in Tuesday's 5-0 loss to the Wild.
Lindgren made his first start in his second game since being activated from injured reserve following an upper-body issue. The 31-year-old netminder didn't get any help in his return to the crease, sending him to his first loss since Nov. 6 in Pittsburgh. He's now 5-4-1 with a 3.10 GAA and an .887 save percentage over 11 outings. Logan Thompson will likely be back between the pipes for Thursday's home game versus the Maple Leafs, but Lindgren should start once during the weekend's home-and-home set against the Red Wings.
