  • Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Surrenders five goals in loss

Tarasov stopped 18 of 23 shots on net in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Penguins.

Tarasov got off to a slow start Sunday, as he allowed three goals in the first period while Florida's offense stalled. Overall, the 27-year-old netminder now has a 10-15-2 record, a 3.21 GAA and an .892 save percentage across 29 appearances this season. He struggled in the weekend slate, allowing eight goals on 35 shots to the Penguins over two games. Tarasov should continue to see regular opportunities down the stretch with Florida eliminated from the playoffs, but is a risky play in fantasy for the time being.

  • Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Falls short versus Blues

Blackwood stopped 25 of 28 shots in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Blues.

Blackwood gave up a goal to Robert Thomas in each period, and that was enough to take the loss. Blackwood is winless in his last three outings, allowing 12 goals on 67 shots in that span. The 29-year-old dropped to 21-10-1 with a 2.58 GAA and an .899 save percentage on the year. The Avalanche have no need to overwork either of Blackwood or Scott Wedgewood at this stage of the regular season, but Wedgewood has the momentum to see the majority of the starts in the playoffs if head coach Jared Bednar opts to ride with one goalie.

  • Joel Hofer G | STL

Blues' Joel Hofer: Picks up win over Avalanche

Hofer stopped 26 of 28 shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Avalanche.

Hofer needed to be big for the Blues here, and he was, winning his fourth game in five outings. A Robert Thomas hat trick gave Hofer the support he needed for the win. For the season, Hofer is up to 21-12-5 with a 2.56 GAA and a .910 save percentage over 42 appearances. The Blues host the Avalanche for a rematch Tuesday, and while St. Louis has alternated goalies most of the time lately, Hofer's success against a tough foe could get him another start.

  • Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Torched in loss to Rangers

Lindgren stopped 24 of 32 shots in Sunday's 8-1 loss to the Rangers.

Lindgren was playing for the first time since March 12, and the rust showed after serving as Logan Thompson's understudy for 10 straight games. This is a tough game for the Capitals to drop, as it makes their path to the playoffs that much tougher, and it will likely lead to Lindgren returning to the pine for at least three of the last four regular-season games. Lindgren is down to 9-8-3 with a 3.52 GAA and an .879 save percentage over 21 appearances this season. The Capitals' next game is Wednesday in Toronto.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Cruises to win over Capitals

Shesterkin stopped 20 of 21 shots in Sunday's 8-1 win over the Capitals.

Shesterkin picked up his third win in four outings, and he didn't have to do a lot for this one. The Rangers' five-goal second period was the difference, allowing Shesterkin to cruise to the victory. He's up to 25-17-6 with a 2.50 GAA and a .912 save percentage over 49 starts this season. While the Rangers are not in the playoff picture, Shesterkin seems likely to get a decent share of the starts to close out the season, as the team doesn't have a back-to-back left on the schedule.

  • Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Earns shutout Sunday

Markstrom posted an 18-save shutout in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Canadiens.

Markstrom had lost his last two outings while sitting out three of the Devils' previous four games. He rebounded well, though the Canadiens didn't generate many chances in this contest. This was just the second time in 10 outings Markstrom has been able to limit an opponent to two goals or fewer. It's his first shutout of the season to go with a 23-18-1 record, a 3.04 GAA and an .885 save percentage over 43 appearances. The Devils' next game is Tuesday at home versus the Flyers. Markstrom and Jake Allen may share the crease to close out the campaign since the Devils aren't in serious contention for a playoff spot.

  • Jacob Fowler G | MON

Canadiens' Jacob Fowler: Gets no help in loss

Fowler stopped 17 of 19 shots in Sunday's 3-0 loss to the Devils. The third goal was an empty-netter.

The Canadiens weren't able to generate any goals in the second half of a back-to-back, leaving Fowler on the hook for the loss. The 21-year-old had won three straight games entering Sunday, allowing just six goals on 70 shots during the streak. Fowler is down to 8-6-2 with a 2.52 GAA and a .904 save percentage over 16 starts. He and Jakub Dobes have been sharing the crease lately, so expect Dobes to get the nod Tuesday versus the Panthers.

  • Cam Talbot G | DET

Red Wings' Cam Talbot: Struggles mid-game in loss

Talbot stopped 15 of 20 shots on goal in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Wild.

Talbot posted a tidy first period before surrendering four goals in Sunday's second period. He would ultimately end up with the loss when Minnesota's Kirill Kaprizov tallied the game-winning goal with less than two minutes remaining in regulation. Overall, Talbot now has a 12-9-5 record, a 3.09 GAA and an .888 save percentage across 31 appearances this season. The 38-year-old netminder hasn't found the win column since March 2 and has struggled to find his groove since returning to the lineup from an undisclosed injury. He is a risky fantasy option for the rest of the fantasy playoffs, as the Red Wings will likely lean heavily on John Gibson in net for the remainder of their playoff push.

  • Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Hangs on for win

Gustavsson stopped 18 of 22 shots on net in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Red Wings.

Despite struggling in the third period, Gustavsson held on for Sunday's win to earn his seventh victory across his last 10 outings. Overall, the 27-year-old netminder is up to a 28-13-6 record, a 2.59 GAA and a .908 save percentage across 48 outings this season. He's been a big factor for the Wild's success this season and should continue to garner the majority of opportunities between the pipes during Minnesota's push for the second seed in the Central Division. Gustavsson holds strong value for the remainder of the fantasy playoffs.

  • Joel Hofer G | STL

Blues' Joel Hofer: Drawing start at Ball Arena

Hofer will tend the twine Sunday in Colorado, per the NHL media site.

Hofer has been outstanding since the NHL resumed play following the 2026 Winter Olympics, posting an 8-1-2 record, 1.69 GAA and .942 save percentage over 11 outings. The 25-year-old has allowed two goals or fewer in nine of those games, further highlighting his consistency while the Blues battle to stay afloat in the playoff race. St. Louis has the rest advantage Sunday, as the Avalanche are on the second half of a back-to-back after shutting out the Stars in Dallas on Saturday.
