Brandon Halverson G | TB
Lightning's Brandon Halverson: Returns to AHL
Halverson was reassigned to AHL Syracuse on Wednesday.
Jonas Johansson (personal) rejoined the Lightning Tuesday, which is why Halverson can be returned to the minors. Halverson made his first NHL start Saturday, stopping 19 of 24 shots in a 6-4 loss to Utah. Tampa Bay recalled Cam Atkinson from the AHL in a corresponding move.

Spencer Knight G | CHI
Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Starting against New Jersey
Knight will serve as the starting netminder for Wednesday's home game against New Jersey, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Knight snapped a four-game losing streak Sunday against Philadelphia despite allowing four goals on 29 shots (.862 save percentage). He's made two starts against New Jersey this year -- one at home and one on the road -- and has gone 1-1-0 with a 1.95 GAA and .920 save percentage in those appearances, both of which occurred while he was with the Panthers.

Ilya Sorokin G | NYI
Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Set to face Vancouver
Sorokin will start at home against Vancouver on Saturday, per Stefen Rosner of NHL.com.
Sorokin has a 27-20-6 record, 2.72 GAA and .907 save percentage in 53 outings this season. However, he's been better in March, posting a 6-2-2 record, 2.58 GAA and .915 save percentage across 10 appearances. The Canucks rank 23rd in the NHL with 2.79 goals per game.

Pyotr Kochetkov G | CAR
Hurricanes' Pyotr Kochetkov: Handed second straight loss
Kochetkov made 13 saves in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Predators.
He wasn't busy, and Kochetkov also didn't look sharp on Nashville's opening goal -- he lost the puck on a rebound and let it trickle behind him early in the first period when he thought he had it pinned to his pad, leaving an easy tap-in for Michael Bunting. The 25-year-old netminder gave up seven goals in his prior start Saturday against the Kings, and while Carolina isn't likely to deviate from its strict timeshare in the crease between Frederik Andersen and Kochetkov, the latter is looking a little fatigued as he approaches a career-high workload.

Juuse Saros G | NSH
Predators' Juuse Saros: Bags career win No. 200
Saros turned aside 34 shots in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Hurricanes.
Taylor Hall spoiled his shutout bid with a power-play tally in the second period, but otherwise Saros was sharp as he recorded his 18th win of the season and the 200th of his career. The 29-year-old netminder is having a strong finish to the season, going 5-2-0 over his last seven starts with a 2.44 GAA and .900 save percentage.

James Reimer G | OTT
Sabres' James Reimer: Sharp against Sens
Reimer stopped 30 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Senators.
The only two pucks to get past Reimer came on Ottawa power plays, and he was especially busy in the third period after Tage Thompson gave Buffalo its first and only lead of the game early in the frame -- the veteran netminder turned aside all 13 shots he faced in the third. Reimer has a 2.69 GAA and .918 save percentage while starting three of the last four games, giving Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen a chance to clear his head after the Sabres' No. 1 goalie stumbled to a 3.79 GAA and .857 save percentage through his first nine outings in March.

Anton Forsberg G | LA
Senators' Anton Forsberg: Stuck with loss Tuesday
Forsberg made 21 saves in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Sabres.
Making just his second start since the 4 Nations Face-Off, Forsberg played well as the two teams traded goals through the first two periods, but the Senators never found a response after Tage Thompson flicked home the winner early in the third. In six outings overall since the beginning of February, Forsberg has a 2.35 GAA and .910 save percentage, but his workload behind Linus Ullmark will likely remain light as long as Ottawa is still attempting to lock up a playoff spot.

Igor Shesterkin G | NYR
Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Falls to Kings
Shesterkin stopped 30 of 32 shots in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Kings. The third goal was an empty-netter.
The Rangers did pretty well to limit the explosiveness of the Kings' offense, but they couldn't counter with enough offense to support Shesterkin. He dropped to 3-5-0 over his starting spree over the last eight games, though he's limited opponents to two or fewer goals five times in that stretch. The 29-year-old is now at 24-26-4 with a 2.80 GAA and a .908 save percentage through 54 starts. The Rangers have a back-to-back up next, with games in Anaheim on Friday and in San Jose on Saturday, so look for Shesterkin and Jonathan Quick to split those starts.

Darcy Kuemper G | LA
Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Stays hot in win
Kuemper saved 22 of 23 shots in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Rangers.
Kuemper is 7-1-1 over his last nine games, and he hasn't allowed more than two goals in any of those outings. The 34-year-old netminder gave up a goal to J.T. Miller early in the second period, but the Kings cashed in twice on the power play to take the lead before the end of that frame. Kuemper is now 25-9-7 on the year with a 2.10 GAA and a .918 save percentage through 42 outings. His numbers are good enough for dark-horse Vezina Trophy consideration, though injuries early in the year mean he doesn't have the same workload as some of the league's other top goalies. The Kings will be tested in their next game when they visit the Avalanche on Thursday.

Joey Daccord G | SEA
Kraken's Joey Daccord: Yields four goals again
Daccord stopped 33 of 37 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Flames.
Daccord has given up at least four goals in five of his nine outings in March. That explains a large part of his struggles -- he's 3-4-2 for the month. The 28-year-old netminder gave up three goals in just over 10 minutes of game time from when Nazem Kadri tied the game in the third period to when Kadri won it with a breakaway tally in overtime. Daccord is down to 23-19-5 with a 2.72 GAA and a .908 save percentage through 49 appearances. He hasn't started more than two games in a row since the first week of March, so it wouldn't be surprising to see Philipp Grubauer draw in for a start soon, perhaps as early as Thursday versus the Oilers.
