Thatcher Demko G | VAN
Canucks' Thatcher Demko: Deemed week-to-week
Demko (lower body) is week-to-week and won't accompany Vancouver on the team's upcoming five-game road trip, Thomas Drance of The Athletic reports Tuesday.
The Canucks will re-evaluate Demko when the team returns from the trip. He sustained the injury, which isn't to his knee, in a 2-1 win over Toronto on Feb. 8 before the break for the 4 Nations Face-Off. He has a 6-6-3 record with one shutout, a 2.87 GAA and an .891 save percentage in 17 appearances this season. Vancouver recalled Arturs Silovs from AHL Abbotsford on Tuesday under emergency conditions to occupy the backup role behind Kevin Lankinen.

Matthew Murray G | NSH
Predators' Matt Murray: Filling in at practice
Murray was recalled as a practice player by the Predators on Tuesday, Emma Lingan of The Hockey News reports.
Murray will be on the roster temporarily while Juuse Saros makes his way back from the 4 Nations Face-Off. In his 27 appearances for AHL Milwaukee this year, the 27-year-old Murray is 17-7-3 with a .930 save percentage and a 2.19 GAA. Murray will head back to the minors once Saros rejoins the team.

Felix Sandstrom G | BUF
Sabres' Felix Sandstrom: Taking leave of absence
Sandstrom will head back to his native Sweden to attend to a personal matter, AHL Rochester announced Tuesday.
Sandstrom's leave of absence will likely mean more minutes with AHL Rochester for Devon Levi and Scott Ratzlaff. Additionally, it will limit Buffalo's options should there be an injury on the NHL roster.

Kaapo Kahkonen G | MON
Jets' Kaapo Kahkonen: Joins NHL club
Kahkonen was recalled from AHL Manitoba on Tuesday as a practice player.
Kahkonen and Eric Comrie will handle the practice duties between the pipes for the Jets while Connor Hellebuyck is competing in the 4 Nations Face-Off. The 28-year-old Kahkonen has a 6-13-0 record with a 3.34 GAA and an .885 save percentage through 20 appearances with AHL Manitoba this season.

Michael DiPietro G | BOS
Bruins' Michael DiPietro: Added to NHL roster
DiPietro will join the Bruins as a practice player, the team announced Tuesday.
Jeremy Swayman remains with Team USA for the 4 Nations Face-Off, so the Bruins brought DiPietro up from AHL Providence to fill out the roster. Once Swayman rejoins the squad, look for the 25-year-old DiPietro to head back to the minors where he figures to spend the bulk of the remaining games.

Jacob Markstrom G | NJ
Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Moves to IR
Markstrom (knee) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
Markstrom has missed the last seven games after suffering a sprained MCL in New Jersey's 5-1 win over Boston on Jan. 22. He received a timeline of 4-6 weeks for his recovery, making a return in early or mid-March possible. Markstrom has a 21-9-5 record with three shutouts, a 2.20 GAA and a .912 save percentage through 36 appearances this season. New Jersey recalled Tyler Brennan from AHL Utica on Tuesday to occupy the backup role behind Jake Allen.

Igor Shesterkin G | NYR
Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Making progress in recovery
Shesterkin (upper body) has been skating on his own but is not expected to participate in practice Tuesday, per Vince Z. Mercogliano of USA Today.
Shesterkin's injury carried a recovery timeline of 1-2 weeks from Feb. 8, so the netminder shouldn't be expected to be sidelined for much longer as long as he hasn't suffered any setbacks. If Shesterkin isn't ready for the Rangers' back-to-back set against the Sabres on Saturday and Penguins on Sunday, Dylan Garand, who was recalled Tuesday, could split those games with Jonathan Quick.

Jaxson Stauber G | UTA
Hockey Club's Jaxson Stauber: Rejoins big club
Stauber was recalled from AHL Tucson on Tuesday.
Stauber's last start with Utah was in a 4-1 loss to the Oilers on Dec. 31. Connor Ingram's (upper body) status is unknown, so Stauber should provide depth in the crease in the short term. Stauber owns a 2-1-1 record, .925 save percentage and 2.23 GAA across four appearances in the NHL this season.

Tristan Jarry G | EDM
Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Sent back to minors
Jarry was returned to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Tuesday.
Jarry's promotion to the NHL roster during the 4 Nations Face-Off was a technical move that kept the team compliant with NHL rules that require every roster to have at least two goalies. With Pittsburgh back in action versus Washington on Saturday, Jarry headed back down to Wilkes/Barre-Scranton, switching places with Joel Blomqvist.
