Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen G | BUF
Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: In goal versus Bruins
Luukkonen will start at home versus the Bruins on Tuesday, Heather Engel of NHL.com reports.
Luukkonen is 4-3-1 in January, and he has played at a mediocre level with a 3.12 GAA and an .893 save percentage. The Bruins will be down three of their regulars on the blue line, so given Luukkonen's recent performance, this could end up being a high-scoring game.

Jonas Johansson G | TB
Lightning's Jonas Johansson: Starting Tuesday
Johansson will start at home versus the Blackhawks on Tuesday, Gabby Shirley of FanDuel Sports Network Florida & Sun reports.
Johansson will get his third start in five games and his second in a row against the Blackhawks, but this one is due to Andrei Vasilevskiy (illness) being unavailable. Johansson won a 4-3 result over Chicago on Friday, but he performed poorly, stopping just 11 of 14 shots. He's a decent streaming option in a pinch, but don't expect top-tier performance.

Stuart Skinner G | PIT
Oilers' Stuart Skinner: Back with team
Skinner (personal) returned to practice Tuesday.
Skinner was back on the ice with his teammates following the birth of his child. After sitting out versus Seattle on Monday, the 26-year-old netminder should reclaim his crease for Thursday's home clash with the Red Wings. In his last five outings, the Edmonton native is 3-2-0 with a 2.23 GAA and a .920 save percentage.

John Gibson G | DET
Ducks' John Gibson: Backing up Tuesday
Gibson (upper body) will be available as the backup against Seattle on Tuesday, per Derek Lee of The Hockey News.
Gibson sustained his upper-body injury in Saturday's clash with Nashville, exiting the game after making nine saves on 10 shots. The veteran backstop will get an extra day to recover with Lukas Dostal getting the nod versus the Kraken. Barring any setbacks, fantasy players can likely expect Gibson back between the pipes against the Flames on Thursday.

Lukas Dostal G | ANA
Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Starting in Seattle
Dostal will guard the road goal against the Kraken on Tuesday, per Derek Lee of The Hockey News.
Dostal stopped 32 of 33 shots in two periods of relief after John Gibson (upper body) left Saturday's 5-2 win over Nashville. The 24-year-old Dostal improved to 12-13-4 with one shutout, a 2.93 GAA and a .910 save percentage through 29 appearances this season. Seattle ranks 18th in the league with 2.90 goals per game and lost 4-2 to Edmonton on Monday.

Adin Hill G | LV
Golden Knights' Adin Hill: In home blue paint Tuesday
Hill will protect the home crease against the Stars on Tuesday, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Hill was excellent in Sunday's 4-1 win over Florida, turning aside 33 of 34 shots on goal en route to his 19th win of the campaign, which matches his career high. The 28-year-old has a 3-3-1 record, .904 save percentage and 2.45 GAA through seven starts in the new year. Hill surrendered four goals in a loss to Dallas on Friday, but Vegas will have the advantage of home ice this time around. The Stars rank 10th in the NHL with 3.12 goals per game this season.

Jake Oettinger G | DAL
Stars' Jake Oettinger: Facing Vegas again
Oettinger will draw the road start Tuesday versus the Golden Knights, per Jesse Granger of The Athletic.
Oettinger made 18 saves on 21 shots in his last start Friday in a 4-3 win over Vegas. The Minnesota native won five consecutive games to start the new year, but he's alternated wins and losses over four outings since then. The Golden Knights have put up 3.40 goals per game this season, which ranks fourth in the NHL. Oettinger owns a 5-2-2 record, 2.26 GAA and .920 save percentage in nine career appearances against Vegas.

Yaroslav Askarov G | SJ
Sharks' Yaroslav Askarov: Excellent in win over Pittsburgh
Askarov stopped 29 of 30 shots in Monday's 2-1 win over the Penguins.
Askarov earned his first win since Jan. 4, snapping a four-game stretch in which he went 0-3-0 with a 4.51 GAA and an .852 save percentage. This was a step in the right direction, but between his lack of consistency and the Sharks' defensive woes, it's hard to trust Askarov in most fantasy formats -- even if he has an occasional strong outing from time to time.
-
Alex Nedeljkovic G | SJ
Penguins' Alex Nedeljkovic: Loses despite stopping 26 shots
Nedeljkovic stopped 26 of 28 shots in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Sharks.
Nedeljkovic has lost two starts in a row, though to be fair, he wasn't to blame Monday, as he gave up only two goals, and the offense didn't provide him with enough support. Nedeljkovic has been tagged with the loss in three of his last five appearances, going 2-3-0 with a 3.21 GAA and a .904 save percentage in that span.

Calvin Pickard G | EDM
Oilers' Calvin Pickard: Earns win vs. Kraken
Pickard stopped 26 of 28 shots in Monday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.
Pickard got the start Monday because Stuart Skinner wasn't available, as he's expecting the birth of his child shortly, and he delivered a solid showing between the pipes. The 32-year-old veteran has won each of his last four starts in January, posting a 2.51 GAA and a .909 save percentage in that stretch.
