Connor Hellebuyck G | WPG
Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Facing Utah
Hellebuyck was the first goaltender off the ice at morning skate and will patrol the home crease versus Utah on Friday, according to Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site.
Hellebuyck is having another season to remember. He is 29-7-2 with six shutouts, a 2.02 GAA and a .927 save percentage over 38 appearances. He leads the league in four categories, including wins, shutouts, goals-against-average and save percentage. Utah is generating 2.89 goals per game this season.

Arvid Soderblom G | CHI
Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Between pipes Friday
Soderblom will protect the home crease versus Tampa Bay on Friday, per Scott Powers of The Athletic.
Soderblom is coming off a strong performance in Nashville on Jan. 16, stopping 39 shots in a 3-2 shootout loss. He is 6-11-2 with a 2.92 GAA and a .907 save percentage over 20 outings this season. The Lightning lead the league this season with 3.61 goals per game.

Joel Hofer G | STL
Blues' Joel Hofer: Can't fend off Vegas
Hofer allowed three goals on 30 shots in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Golden Knights. The fourth marker was an empty-netter.
The Blues were forced to chase the game early due to Mark Stone scoring after a Cam Fowler turnover just 19 seconds into the contest. Hofer would allow one more goal at even strength and one on the power play en route to his first loss since Jan. 4. Jordan Binnington has made twice as many starts as Hofer this season, but the latter's numbers have been marginally better, so it'll be interesting to see how head coach Jim Montgomery handles his goaltenders down the stretch. Hofer is sporting a 10-5-1 record, .906 save percentage and 2.77 GAA through 17 appearances in 2024-25.

Ilya Samsonov G | LV
Golden Knights' Ilya Samsonov: Back in win column Thursday
Samsonov made 15 saves on 17 shots in Thursday's 4-2 win over St. Louis.
Samsonov snapped a personal three-game losing streak on a night in which he faced his lightest workload of the campaign. The Russian netminder was a perfect 4-0-0 in December, but he's been inconsistent through six appearances in January, going 3-3-0 while conceding 17 goals on 134 shots (.873 save percentage) in that span. For the season, Samsonov holds a 12-6-1 record, .898 save percentage and 2.78 GAA across 19 outings.

Marcus Hogberg G | NYI
Islanders' Marcus Hogberg: Starting Saturday
Hogberg will patrol the home crease versus Carolina on Saturday, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.
Hogberg has been sensational for the Islanders in limited action. He is only 2-2-0, but has a microscopic 1.32 GAA and an outstanding .952 save percentage over six appearances. The Hurricanes are generating 3.37 goals per game, fifth in the NHL this season.

Jake Oettinger G | DAL
Stars' Jake Oettinger: Starting against Vegas
Oettinger will serve as the starting netminder for Friday's home game against the Golden Knights, Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine reports.
Oettinger has taken some tough-luck losses in recent outings, going 2-2-0 with a 1.53 GAA and .942 save percentage over his last four starts. He'll make his third consecutive start Friday but will face a tough test, as the Golden Knights rank fourth in the NHL with 3.40 goals per game.

Isaac Poulter G | WPG
Devils' Isaac Poulter: Recalled from AHL
Poulter was called up from AHL Utica on Friday.
The Devils have lost Jacob Markstrom for the next 4-6 weeks with a sprained MCL, necessitating the recall of Poulter. Jake Allen is expected to play the majority of the games until Markstrom returns, with Poulter picking up an occasional start. Poulter was 8-7-3 with a 2.90 GAA and an .897 save percentage over 19 AHL starts before being recalled. He has yet to make his NHL debut.

Ilya Sorokin G | NYI
Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Receiving starting nod
Sorokin will protect the home goal versus Philadelphia on Friday, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.
Sorokin faced the Flyers on Jan. 16, allowing four goals on only 23 shots in a 5-3 loss. Sorokin was sharp in his following contest, turning aside 25 shots in a 3-1 win over Columbus on Monday. He is 14-14-4 with a 2.81 GAA and a .902 save percentage across 32 starts this season. The Flyers are coming off a 6-1 defeat to the Rangers on Thursday and are averaging 2.98 goals in 2024-25.

Jacob Markstrom G | NJ
Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Set for 4-6 week absence
Markstrom is expected to be out of action for 4-6 weeks after suffering a sprained MCL, the Devils announced Friday.
Fortunately for Markstrom and the Devils, that recovery period includes the two-week break for the 4 Nations Face-Off, so he won't miss as many games as he otherwise might have. In fact, if the veteran netminder can return in the four-week range, he would only miss seven games and would be ready to face the Stars on Feb. 22. Still, fantasy managers should probably plan for the backstop to miss a little more time and to return in early March. Don't be surprised to see Markstrom land on injured reserve in the next day or two in order to free up a roster spot for Nico Daws or Isaac Poulter to be called up from AHL Utica. Jake Allen figures to see the bulk of the netminding duties in Markstrom's absence.

Michael DiPietro G | BOS
Bruins' Michael DiPietro: Returns to AHL
DiPietro was sent to AHL Providence on Friday, Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal reports.
DiPietro was recalled by Boston on Thursday, and he served as the backup goaltender during the team's 2-0 win over Ottawa. However, he'll head back to the minors a day later, which signals that Jeremy Swayman (upper body) could be available for the Bruins' game against the Avalanche on Saturday.
