  • Alex Killorn LW | ANA

Ducks' Alex Killorn: Deposits goal Monday

Killorn scored a goal and went minus-2 in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers.

Killorn has picked up the pace lately to help the Ducks cover the absences of several forwards. He's earned two goals and two assists over his last five games in his best stretch of the season. Overall, Killorn has a poor six goals, 17 points, 95 shots on net, 47 hits, 34 PIM and 22 blocked shots through 53 appearances. He may have streaming appeal in some fantasy formats, but this uptick in offense probably won't last once the Ducks get healthier.

  • Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Drawing start in Minnesota

Knight will patrol the road blue paint Tuesday versus the Wild, per Vinnie Parise of The Hockey News.

Knight is coming off his worst outing of the month -- he allowed four goals on 24 shots in Sunday's 5-1 loss to the Panthers. The 24-year-old is 5-3-0 with a 2.47 GAA and a .915 save percentage over eight appearances in January. He'll have a daunting task against a Wild squad that sits fifth overall in the NHL with 68 points and has scored at least three goals in five straight games, a span in which they are 3-1-1.

  • Oilers' Spencer Stastney: First goal, point with new team

Stastney scored a goal and went plus-2 in Monday's 7-4 win over the Ducks.

Nurse snapped a nine-game point drought with the tally. The 30-year-old defenseman has had a handful of cold stretches this season while filling a top-four role. He's now at seven goals, 17 points, 112 shots on net, 74 hits, 120 blocked shots, 81 PIM and a minus-9 rating over 54 appearances. The 33-year-old winger is up to 21 goals, 35 points (12 on the power play), 112 shots on net, 34 hits and a plus-12 rating over 35 contests. He's a must-have player in fantasy as long as he continues to play alongside Connor McDavid.

  • Dylan Holloway LW | STL

Blues' Dylan Holloway: Ruled out against Dallas

Holloway (ankle) will remain sidelined against the Stars on Tuesday, Lou Korac of The Hockey News reports.

Holloway is currently day-to-day, though it remains to be seen if he'll be available prior to the Olympic break, considering he aggravated the ankle injury that kept him out of the lineup for 15 games from Dec. 15 to Jan. 16. Including Tuesday's matchup against Dallas, the Blues have five games remaining before the NHL season is paused for the 2026 Winter Olympics. Holloway has accounted for eight goals, 17 points, 79 shots, 91 hits and a minus-13 rating over 34 appearances this campaign.

Geekie has gotten back into form with four goals and two assists during a four-game point streak. He toiled on the third line for a large part of January, but he returned to a line with Elias Lindholm and David Pastrnak for Monday's contest. Overall, Geekie has 29 goals, 48 points, 122 shots on net, 84 hits and a minus-3 rating through 52 appearances. He may fade further from the point-per-game threat, but he's just five goals away from resetting his career high again.

  • Rangers' Urho Vaakanainen: Draws assist Monday

Vaakanainen registered an assist and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 4-3 overtime win over the Bruins.

Vaakanainen may have a clearer path to playing time in the near future after the Rangers dealt Carson Soucy to the Islanders on Monday. Vaakanainen got into the lineup on the third pairing Monday, playing for just the seventh time in 26 games since the start of December. The Finn has four assists, 15 shots on net, 18 blocked shots and 12 PIM over 23 appearances. Barring a call-up of a young blueliner, Vaakanainen will probably play regularly until Adam Fox (lower body) returns.
