  • Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Snaps 17-game goal drought

Fantilli scored a goal and added two assists in an 8-5 win over Tampa Bay on Saturday.

The goal snapped a 17-game goal drought; Fantilli's last snipe came against the Ducks on Dec. 16. It was also his first multi-point game since Dec. 4. Fantilli hasn't taken the next offensive step forward with his game, and he's likely to deliver a similar total as last season (54). His goal scoring is down, though -- he delivered 31 snipes last season, but he's on pace for ten fewer this year. Fantilli is an aggressive, talented top-line pivot who is a gifted playmaker, and he's showing more of that gift this season. He has 13 goals, 20 assists, 140 shots and 71 hits in 51 games in 2025-26.

  • Stars' Brandon Gorzynski: Strong week continues

Gorzynski scored twice and added an assist in WHL Prince Albert's 5-1 win over Medicine Hat on Saturday.

Gorzynski led the charge as the Raiders won a huge matchup over the Tigers, a battle between the No. 2 and No. 3 teams in the WHL. Over the last four games, Gorzynski has amassed four goals and three assists. He's up to 22 goals, 51 points and a plus-20 rating over 42 appearances between Prince Albert and Calgary this season.

  • Kings' Carter George: Shuts out North Bay

George posted a 16-save shutout in OHL Sault Ste. Marie's 3-0 win over North Bay on Saturday.

George is having a remarkable week with a shutout and a goalie goal over his last two contests. He's won five straight outings. Through 27 appearances between Sault Ste. Marie and Owen Sound this season, he is 15-9-2 with a 2.70 GAA and a .907 save percentage, and he's earned three shutouts.

  • Blue Jackets' Charlie Coyle: Nets 200th NHL goal

Coyle scored a goal and two assists in an 8-5 win over Tampa Bay on Saturday.

The goal was Coyle's 200th career goal in the NHL. It came one game after he marked 1,000th NHL regular-season game Thursday. Coyle has 11 goals, 22 assists and 85 shots in 51 games this season. He's two points from equaling his output between Boston and Colorado in 2024-25 (83 regular-season games).

  • Devils' Brian Halonen: Pots pair Saturday in AHL

Halonen scored twice in AHL Utica's 6-3 loss to Syracuse on Saturday.

Halonen has nine goals and two assists over 10 outings in January for the Comets. The 27-year-old's surge has him up to 13 goals and four assists through 21 contests this season. Halonen got a nine-game look in the NHL earlier this season, but he'll likely have to wait for injuries to open up spots on the Devils' roster.

  • Lightning's Conor Geekie: Records three assists

Geekie notched three assists in AHL Syracuse's 6-3 win over Utica on Saturday.

Geekie has two goals and four helpers during a four-game point streak. The 21-year-old forward is being given the chance to play regularly in the AHL at this time, so it would take a long-term opening in the lineup to get him back on the Lightning's roster. He's at 11 goals and 24 helpers through 34 appearances.

  • Lightning's Mitchell Chaffee: Three points in AHL win

Chaffee scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Syracuse's 6-3 win over Utica on Saturday.

Chaffee's big game got him to a point-per-game pace for the Crunch this season. He's at 10 goals, 19 helpers, 70 shots on net and a minus-2 rating over 29 appearances. The 27-year-old forward could have a chance at a call-up if the injury to Gage Goncalves (undisclosed) is a long-term concern.

  • Blue Jackets' Mason Marchment: Monster game jolts Lightning

Marchment had a hat trick and an assist in an 8-5 win over the Lightning on Saturday.

It was Marchment's third career hat trick. He has been excellent in Columbus after being acquired from Seattle on Dec. 19, compiling eight goals, three assists and 19 shots in just nine games. While his pace could slow, he has plenty of upside while seeing time on the top line and first power-play combination.

  • Predators' Steven Stamkos: Pots goal No. 25

Stamkos scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 5-2 loss to Utah.

The 35-year-old buried a one-timer from the faceoff circle past Karel Vejmelka early in the first period to give the Predators the lead, but the game slipped away from the home squad in the final two frames. Stamkos has found a groove in January, lighting the lamp seven times in the last seven games. He's up to 25 goals and 37 points in 51 contests this season -- the 15th time he's reached 25 goals in a campaign during his illustrious career, tying him for 10th on the NHL's all-time list with a group of Hall of Famers that includes Wayne Gretzky, Joe Sakic, Jarome Iginla and Mats Sundin.

  • Juuse Saros G | NSH

Predators' Juuse Saros: Trampled by Mammoth

Saros stopped 26 of 30 shots in Saturday's 5-2 loss to Utah, with the Mammoth's final goal getting scored into an empty net.

The 30-year-old netminder saw an early 1-0 lead evaporate quickly to begin the second period, and the Predators could never get level after falling behind. Saros has given up at least three goals in five straight starts, and on the season, he's 20-17-3 through 40 outings with a 3.04 GAA and an .895 save percentage.
